Recently, I participated in National Novel Writing Month, wherein the goal is to begin an entirely new novel and write 50,000 words of said new novel during the month of November. Click on the link to find out more, but that is the basic premise. Anyway, last year I did NaNo, as it's called for short, and lost miserably at 14k words. This year, I won with 51k words.
However, that's not my current source of pride. Being that my novel is no where near finished, I decided to kick my a** back into gear with National Novel Finishing Month [yes yes, we're all crazy]. I'm now up to 60k.

I had to tell someone about it! My best friend thinks I'm crazy for continuing [she got all stressed during NaNo and now she's scared of it] and my parents, while 'good for you'-ish, don't really get it. So I thought it might be okay if I posted my accomplishment here.
