In a wilder section of the island, far away from the docks and the sanctuary building itself, Krypt crouched in the tall grasses on the edge of a clearing, absolutely still. His eye was on a deer that was grazing nearby. One quick teleport and he could be right there sinking his teeth into it, but that would be too easy. He relished the hunt, and was doing it the hard way.
In an area most Pupfins didn't even know about, let alone approach, due to the fences keeping other wild animals from getting loose (not to mention signs forbidding entrance without permission from Sin himself), Krypt steeled himself, and prepared to attack.

Golden eyes looked past the bothersome fence and the more than noticable signs. It had taken a little bit less than a day to find such a secretive outing on the island. If there was so much to hide she would be worthy enough to take advantage of it.
Her nose caught scent of an animal, but she merely waved it off. A few moments later, however, and she'd be faced with said creature and with some annoyance snapped at it. It didn't help that she had found herself wandering in circles amongst the tall grass.
"Bothersome creatures," she snarled.

Krypt noticed his prey suddenly dart off, scared, and snarled in anger. What had happened? Then he caught sight of the other Pupfin, half hidden herself in the tall grass. Growling, he poofed, and in the blink of an eye, probably a split second after her 'bothersome creatures' comment she'd see a terrifying, growling Pupfin right in front of her face. "That was my prey!" he snarled at her intimindatingly.

Pandora rarely ever felt fear, but the sight of the sudden teleportation startled her a little. The pupfin that was responsible wasn't exactly the most friendly looking thing she could potentially boss around. Her instant reaction was to bite back and, of course, she followed through to the letter.
"And that's MY problem?" she snarled through her teeth. "Not my problem you spent too much time gawking and not enough time actually DOING something." Though she hadn't seen the pup actually hunting, she merely responded as though she did.

Krypt noticed the slight startle in her eyes and smirked even as she snapped back at him, before retorting back. "Doing what, scaring it off, like you just did? Hunting takes skill and patience, not to mention the idea is to NOT let it get away." His black eyes narrowed as he refused to back down, even though he was slightly surprised the female was being as aggressive right back at him. He was a rather wild sight, with his sharp teeth and bone accessories, and it was normal for Pupfin and Human alike to freak out when he got this aggressive, and turn tail.

Pandora snorted and looked away, indignant that another pupfin would dare to talk to her like this. It was a first, she had to admit, that for once she wasn't being feared. She didn't necessarily dislike the feeling, but it began to prove difficult that this wasn't going to be a simple snap and run. Perhaps she may have found an equivalent. Perhaps.
"I wouldn't know. Hunting is such a waste of time, why not just jump on the animal and tear it to shreds?" Her eye rolled back to look at him, half curious and half annoyed. "I would prefer to savor the blood and the shriek of pain, not huff and puff and hope that something larger wouldn't try to steal my kill."

"Jumping on it is harder than you think, fool, you have to keep it from knowing you're there...and it is no challenge to simply teleport by it and rip it to shreds. I'm more tempted to do that to cheeky females who talk of what they do not know! I do not 'huff and puff' and nothing steals my kills, ever!" Hackles rising, Krypt was starting to get annoyed.

It was as though the world shook for a second, so maybe she would be done with this one sooner than she thought she was going to.
"Peh. I don't teleport, I guess it's different when you find a small creature to torture. Big things are annoying to hunt for." She sighed softly, her smile turning into a full-fledged malicious grin. "There's nothing like tearing a small creature apart while it's still alive."

Although still slightly annoyed, Krypt could not help but somewhat agree with the latter part of her comments and forced himself to untense slightly and control his temper. "I suppose," he tried to warily agree. But they die way too fast. The bigger they are, the longer their agony can be." He sits on his haunches, the mood to chase after the deer gone, for the moment. At least this female understood the feeling of killing something and could relate.

Pandora watched him with careful eyes, obviously she had pricked some kind of interest from him.
"I suppose, though they are a bit more to handle." She sat back as well, though a bit awkwardly in order to keep aware of this one. There was no way she could be sure when he was and wasn't hostile. "Smaller animals are so much easier to manipulate between your paws. No need to hold them down, minimul fuss." She shrugged.

"Again, no challenge. Personally, they are shish-ka-bobs to me." He holds up a paw and shows off his claws, longer than most Pupfins'. "Mere snacks; especially if I'm hunting with Father. He would not be interested in such small, insignificant prey." Then again, he'd be showing this female much more respect than Krypt was, but it was merely one of several things he didn't have in common with Yautja.

Golden eyes stared in mild fascination at his claws, she had never seen claws that long before and though they seemed quite intimidating she didn't want to become a drooling fan. That just simply wasn't her style.
"I'm not one to hunt with others, in fact I rarely ever hunt anyway. I simply indulge in the fun of killing." She extended her claws a little as well, blood from a recent murder had remained on them. She brought them up to her lips and tasted the long-dried blood, savoring it as though it were fresh. "When it comes to torture I guess I could go either way. Tearing into a large animal to watch them slowly die is one way to go, though the unfortunate part is losing sight of it before it falls over. I'm not one to chase."

"Most kills involve hunting of some sort, even if it doesn't take much effort." He shrugs. "To each his own. My father tends to keep trophies of skulls and bones from his kills, though as for mine...there doesn't tend to be anything worth keeping after I'm done." He grins, showing off his rows of sharp teeth. "If you find any crushed skulls around here, those were likely my victims."

"Well then... let me ask you this." Pandora's smile turned into a sly grin, her earfins lay back and her eyelids lay low. "Did you crush them while they were still alive?" It was slowly becoming quite entertaining, finally she had met someone who shared her interest. Though she knew she probably didn't have the upperhand with this one, it didn't bother her as much.
