Alas could feel her heart thudding racing against her ribcage as she lead her alpha towards her beloved. Outside of the salty aired lands that she still called home, but not within the forested lands she felt as home. Inbetween these two pack territories she halted and glanced at Twist.
"I'm sure they'll be here any moment...I'll wait back at the dens...if thats all?" She tipped her muzzle respectfully towards her alpha all the while her mind filled with distaste at the things she had thought. Betrayal was heavy on her mind, but love filled her heart and gave her peace enough to hold her smile.Twix meanwhile was following her dark blue brother out of their lands for this meeting. She disliked the other pack already, because of that pink healer her brother was infatuated with. Still the caramel beta knew how to hold her tounge and her loyalty had always been first and foremost to her family. She would say nothing against Crunch's wishes and defend him with her life if the other alpha proved troublesome.

Twist was silent with Alas as she wasn't too keen on the pink mutt. Though as she left she nodded and gave her thanks for the introduction. She also rather chuckled in her own mind as she could smell the same hormones on Alas that she smelled on Wazzam. Well isn't that interesting. It seams that this pink dog has a thing for Crunch. I best remeber that for the future. She made a slight chuckle inwardly.
Then her keen eyes seamed to trail towards the edges of the woods from whence the two wolves came. The Alpha Crunch she assumed and another. Sibling she assumed. Though she specified only alpha's she would make due of this to her advantage- her keen sences picking up on the brown wolves agression. To her? Unwise. To the Pink wolf? Now that would make her job abit more interesting.
She then called out a final thought towards Alas before going forward behind range. "Make sure you tell Wazzam where I have gone to. He will know how to find me."

Looking to his right towards his sister, Crunch could sense his sister's tension. The alpha had got plenty of sleep the night before and had took a dunk in the river behind the den, he found it following Snicker's scent. The large blue male had cleared his mind of Alas, couldn't get distracted in a conversation when dealing with others, and the male had nothing but a ridged and bitter walk in his step.
Eyes dark and cold, the red lightning marking above his eyes would merge briefly as the alpha become completely focused.
"Let's go, Twix," Crunch instructed stepping through the trees and seeing a storm pelted wolfess standing by herself in the middle of the clearing between the two packs. With a flicker of his tail, Crunch looked at his sister again. "Hold back, I only smell her right now. If her mate comes, then meet him out in the middle with us."
This was Crunch. Instructive and demanding, he was not showing any signs of weakness, regardless to the scar on his back, and head erect and tail high. Crunch walked out to meet the other.

Alas gave only a soft nod at Twist's orders though the last thing she wanted was to speak to Wazzam. She couldn't believe that Twist had been so manipulative to draw an innocent pup into her web and as he flourished into adulthood she was using him. Still she would tell Wazzam where Twist was even if she disliked what Twist did it was no reason to be angry at her victims. She slipped back towards the packlands quietly.
Twix meanwhile followed her brother, she could tell he had cleared his mind and it made her happy to note that none of the infatuation for the pink healer remained visible. With her body held low she slipped around the clearing to wait her nose twitched as she picked up each scent ready to appear if and when this other alpha emerged.

Finally that pink mutt had gone away. She shook her head at that. She was too 'fluffy' for her own tastes. A need to be friendly to all that came to be. If she wasn't trying to seam impressive she would have gagged. But it was at that time her eyes caught the impressive stance of Crunch. He held himself well. She could give him that. Twist's stance however differed from the other. She was held high but instead of sheer dominance she was rather swaggered as if she was pure attitude. Either position would work as an Alpha though as they both held similar traits. Neither was a force to be reckoned with.
Though even from this observation alone the storm wolfs mind was quickly calculating the situation to her favor. Though there were still some factors that she was unsure of. For one thing the brown wolf with aggression issues seamed to have been holding back. Ambush? Or was she waiting for Wazzam before she would show herself. Either way she readied herself for anything. Who knew what the fuzzball had told this Alpha. And from the infatuation she didn’t doubt the worst.

Being focused as he was, Crunch watched the other walk forward. She had the attitude of a demanding and manipulative alpha, similar to those that use to rein in the lands that his family had moved from. Dark blue eyes peered from under the red lightning, his maw stayed high above the ground and his nose twitched sporadically.
"I hope it is a pleasure to meet my neighbors' leader," Crunch stated bluntly, "I'm Crunch, alpha of Akiiki Chibale." He also noted that Twist was just now reached her adulthood.
Strong willed also, that is something to note as a plus for her. Standing before Twist, Crunch in his focused mindset, had thrown out all prejudice thoughts beside the norm when he met others. With Twix in the area, Crunch was also in defensive mode. If the other alpha was to move towards his sister's location, if Twix didn't get her first, Crunch would intercept with his fangs.

The stormy wolf honestly couldn't care if Twix was in the area and showed no aggression. The only thing she protrayed was true leadership qualities. Why would she run the risk of offending a neighboring pack when she despritly needed allies? That would be an unwise move- plus is she could use Twix's agression agaist the pink fuzzball she could possibly break apart the others pack internally and take it as her own. But that would play out later- for now she would just stand her ground with the one infront of her.
A slight smirk of confidence washed over her face. "I have heard so much about your brillance from Libenalas. You must be a powerful alpha from how she talks." Her ear continued to flick back and forth as she spoke. Not for Alas but for Wazzam. Some part of her longed for him to be at her side...again those were feelings she was trying to deny. She was a loner! She didn't need him- but then again he seamed to provide so much for her. Her ear stoped flicking.
"Forgive my mate if he is late..." Regaining an even higher posture she seamed to make up for the idiocy of her odd behavior before.

Twix had stealthily slipped in circles around the area so that her scent was lost in the paths and deep forest growth. Her ears perked as she caught Twist's words Forgive my mate if he is late..., so this alpha male would be showing up after all. Twix slowly sank low and waited with an infinate patience she rarely showed. Even an alpha pair would not be able to bully her brother and if he needed assistance the caramel colored beta was all too delighted to give her family aid.
It did rankle a bit to think someday that pink priss would dare take the place of alpha, no one deserved that position but Crunch. Still...her brother was sure to see the light eventually, what good was that lacy female to their family structure? A female who coddled Gracia, and laughed at Snickers stupidity as if it were a passing amusement. No the pink female would be weeded out, Twix just had to show restraint, patience.

Watching Twist for a moment, Crunch decreed she wouldn't try anything towards Twix, but that didn't get the edge off the alpha. He had been played once before and never again he had declared. One ear stayed on the female before him and the other moved with his sister, Twix was doing good. Even with that aggresion that he knew the reason behind its spawning.
Seeing the smirk on the storm pelted face, Crunch just looked at Twist with a stone face. At the mention of Alas' name the blue candy wrapper wolf didn't even flinch or change posture, he flickered his tail as if shrugging off the 'complement'.
"She is friends with my other sister, Gracia, and seems to recognize that I care for my family. Strict rule and over powering domination is how things get done in a pack, correct?" Crunch somewhat questioned Twist, hopeing that Twix was catching on. However, he did try and inforce the strict rule with Snickers, but Crunch would probably have to rip his brother a new one before the chocolate male did as he was told.
The thought forced Crunch to swallow back a mental growl that was ready to rip from his throat. Ah, change of subject and mate? Well now, was this the younger wolf that Twist had pampered with thoughts of love and all that other googey stuff that she didn't seem to radiate. Although, Crunch really couldn't think such a thing, after all he wasn't being truthful with the female before him. But his scent should just represent what he felt for at that time, and that was dictating whatever Twist wanted to talk about.
"It seems to be, that is why I told my sister to hang back. Didn't want to insult or seemingly threaten you. Though, I do happen to ponder, why send Libenalas with a message to have a meet? Is it for a plausible alliance to form, for us to actually come to a mutal understand, or is it just to take us both from our duties to our packs?"

"I was hoping for an alliance with you." Her face was stone and to the point. She needed more members to back her- and I assumed that was what he could use as well. "Considering we are the largest packs in the area it would be quite faulty if we didn't align. My goal is not war with you." Her eyes held her mark onto his face without even a quiver. She was truely an alpha and was not just playing god. "And as far as sending Alas...I found it would be quite rude of me to just come traversing into your territory. You would probally find me tratious- and again war is not my goal."
She nodded her head at the end of the statment as if sealing her words with pure truth. "Plus from the sents on Alas- she seams rather fond of you." She chuckled. "Quite like I am for Wazzam." Maybe she was struggling with the term love, but she definatly held a deep animal attraction for her mate. He was just so strong- very much like his father. That almost made the fangirl of a teen want to jump out of her skin and ravage his body bit to bit- but if she did that expecially allow those feelings to escape at this moment; then she would endanger this new trust that she was attempting to form with Crunch. She straightened up even further keeping the gaze into his eyes. No affection could be seen; just ones who's cog's were constantly working. Constantly sceaming. Constantly ploting.
"I also have no problem if she wants to go to your pack to be with you..." She left the line at that wondering if this would bring out Twix's agression. If that was the case then she would have another pawn to work with in her game; and prehaps would need a seperate meeting alone with her. Anything to furtherly downgrade the pink fuzzballs life- or lifespan. Which ever happened to come first.

An Alliance...The thought traveled through Twix and she held back a snort. What was Crunch doing? They didn't want involvement with anyone, no enemies, but no allies either. Picking sides was never a good idea, especially without knowing who all the players were in the game of life.
Before Twix could start a mental rant though her ears picked up Twist's words abut Alas and she was forced to swallow the growl that instantly erupted in her throat. How dare that stormy female try and foist that pink fuzzball onto her brother! Twix was certain the relationship would die a quick death with Alas focused on her own pack and Crunch focused on his. Now this idea of that pink little siren sleeping in their den like she belonged, standing beside her brother, what did that little healer know about loyalty or anything else for that matter.
A healer, it would be good for the pack, but still...Crunch would fall under the spell of love and become useless to the family. Twix felt her nose scrunch and a silent snarl lift her lips. Still she remained silently pacing within the shadows.

Crunch's demenor never shifted as Twist talked, like the other, his face was just as solid. An alliance, eh, that wasn't one of his favorite things, especially in the land that his family had just left. Alliances led to easy back stabbing and that also was the reason that he kept his family moving, until finding the open territory that they now resided in.
Dark eyes just staring out from under the red lightning clouds above them, they seemed to be looking for any chip in her stance, anything that would point to a flaw in this good natured stance and meeting.
"Before I accept any alliance proposals, I would speak to my second in command. After all I'm not speaking just for my pack, but my whole family and I have a responsiblity to them." He could simply say no, go die in a hole or jump off a cliff, but that would probably insult her and his pack wasn't in any condition to fight twenty wolves.
As Twist continued to speak about Alas, Crunch listened for Twix. He had learned to just ignore the word, after all this was a meeting and personal feeling could NOT get involved with it. This was him also proving to Twix that he could still be the same leader that had led them through the rough lands to this place, and still know the appropriate time to show true emotion.
With a swish of his tail, as if batting away the words in disagreement, Crunch just replied, "Fond as she may seem, she has prove herself useful in healing one of my packmates, so I permit her to come and go without much fighting from my border patroling." Twist didn't need to know his feelings for Alas, especially if she was planning anything behind her simple words.
Something about her last sentence though made the fur between his shoulders bristle up. There was a plot there, he just didn't know where and that bothered him greatly.
