The screen towering above the stadiums' bleachers began to rotate clockwise to determine what field the pokemon would fight on. Anticipation began to build as the dial began to slow down...
Finally, it came to a complete stop.
The field of choice was... THE ELECTRIC FIELD!!!
The field is completely flat; no bumps or hills can be located. Standing at the four corners and at the exact center of the field on each side are six electrical towers that stand at six feet in height. These create a static discharge across the field and in the air itself for one reason: a metal piping that outlines the edges of the field floats several feet above the towers themselves, held up by the discharge. During the battle, the piping can release lightning at random points on the field due to the amount of buildup them possess. This ensures that your pokemon stay moving during throughout the entire battle.

Renekai took her place on one side of the field. The electricity made her hair poof up slightly. Smiling down at the borrowed Raichu at her feet, Renekai said, "You're right in your element, huh, ChuChu?"
"Chu!" she replied, already charging the electricity in her cheek pouches.
"Alright! Let's do this!" Renekai shouted.
ChuChu dashed to her spot, the electricity visible around the mouse's body. She got into a battle stance.

Jenette walked to her spot also on one side of the field and seemed a little spooked. There must be a reason why she didn't like the electricity. Although she had agreed to this battle with Luna's Chuchu she hoped that Nanook would be comfortable in the stadium. He didn't like sparks either. "Ready Nook?" She said as she released her ninetales onto the field.
The beam resolved into a vixen body. Shaking out his tails he stood at the ready, calm but fierce.
"Let's do this!" She said in a cheering tone. "Good luck to you!" She called to her new opponent.

Renekai grinned accross the field at the other trainer. "Okay, ChuChu, Quick attack! Make it shockingly fast!"
ChuChu, understanding her temporary trainer's meaning, raced accross the field to Nanook, picking up stactic as she went. At the last minute, she leaped at the fox, electricity and all. If ChuChu landed her attack, this would be very shocking indeed...

"You know how to dodge that Nanook!" Jenette said with a smirk. They had been practicing with her own Raichu and her ninetales was getting good with this speed thing. "JUMP NOW! Then give ChuChu a Fire blast!" She shouted.
Instantly he sprung into the air, dodging the Raichu's quick attack. As soon as he landed again he turned and blasted a shot of fire towards the mouse pokemon. A japanese character of fire shot towards her, the flames were hot... hopefully it would land!

"You've dealt with fire before!" Renekai practically screamed. "Thunder punch through it!"
ChuChu leaped at the character's face, crackling white fist drawn back. She went straight through the flames, earning herself some burnt fur. ChuChu made a grimace. She hated burnt fur. But it'd grow back! Once the Ninetails was in sight, ChuChu launched her attack with a mighty, "CHUUUU!"

((Nice roll! Yeah I used to do it a lot too when I first started battling ^.^ ))
As Nanook was drawn back to the field with gravity, he planned to land on all fours. But as he saw a shocking fist flying through his blast he was sent backwards. OW!
Jenette was impressed. She didn't think that little Raichu would send such a big pokemon flying backwards like that... "Come on Nook! you can't go soft on the girl!!!" She cried out to him. "HEADBUTT!"
Returning to all fours He began to charge towards the mouse pokemon. Lowering his head when he got closer, he aimed for his target.

ChuChu was knocked backwards at the force of the headbutt, but she landed on all fours.
"C'mon!" Renekai called. "Try Iron Tail!"
ChuChu's tail glowed white as she dashed forward to Nanook. She swung her armored tail at her opponent with powerful momentum.

"Take one for the team Nanook!" She called, now thinking if terms of defense and success. "Once she hits you give her a flamethrower!" she continued shouting out commands. All the while she thought of how the attacks would land and continued to plot out the next move.
Nanook braced himself and felt a jolt of electricity hit him while he stood still. The field was still shooting out the small bolts around. He had been lucky to miss them until now. As ChuChu came close he took her hit like commanded and opened his mouth to let out a long, hot stream of fire blow in her direction. "NIIIIIIIIINNNE!"

But ChuChu was not caught off guard. She hastily got out of the way of most of the fire, but she got a mionor burn to her side. Growling slightly, she charged her cheek pouches with electricity, predicting Renekai's next order.
"Thundershock!" Renekai shouted, smiling at how smart the raichu was.
Grinning to herself, ChuChu unleashed her power. The entire field went dark for a moment. Every partical of electricity was used to ChuChu's advantage.
"Dodge this!" Renekai smirked as the electricity went off. Renekai's hair was rising dangerously about her shoulders from the amount of static in the air.
