yuletide blessings
this longest night
for here we await
the sun so bright

for when he rises
we'll know it's true
the endless path
circles 'round anew

though winter's here
it's now we know
the sun will come
to melt the snow

we greet the day
a blessed sight
and thank the sun
for for all his light
