the only one who I have to replace their hats and golves cause they dont know how to put them in their backpack?

My four year old is terrible at it. We have quite a few hats and gloves for him because he'll leave them at school, but his name is on them so his teacher is always giving them back to me when she sees me.

I've spent the last two days trying to find my daughters favorite night gown. She wore it and then took it off to get dressed and it vanished. I have no earthly idea where it is. Looked in the clothes hamper (wishful thinking that someone would use the hamper), under the bed, behind the dresser, in the dresser and in the toy box. I'm lost.

Check with your son's teacher and the school lost and found. I've already accummulated two paper boxes full of stray mittens, hats, jackets. The office has already filled a refrigerator box. We'd love to have Mom's come and claim their kid's stuff. (I'd say 'have the kids claim their stuff,' but usually kids can't be bothered.)

Haha.. You really aren't alone. There was this mom of (at least) 2 that came in to my work the other day, having to buy new gloves for both her boys.. Because they have the same problem.. Trust me. TONS of parents come in looking for replacements.. Doesn't make it ok, it's just common.

I was awful for that when I was little... my mum got to the point where she had to stitch my hat and gloves to my coat on pieces of string.

yeah i hear ya i have a chest full for my 5 kids and half of them dont have matches and they are never to be found again i guess
