I found them in a magazine I was reading today. Their album cover screamed folk metal, so I just found their myspace Good stuff, you can hear some influence from other folk bands around today but still good nontheless.

btw, the new lineup released another album this year. It's a little more folky than the last one, but the basic sound is very similar.

I was under the impression that this was considered viking metal due to lyrical content? (paganism, norse mythology, etc)

Viking Metal has nothing to do with lyrical content, since lyrics don't make up genres. Theres a few things that separate Viking Metal from regular Folk Metal, one of them being that Viking Metal uses Scandinavia style Folk in their music.

Edit: actually they are bit Viking Metal, but they lean more on the Folk side rather than the average BM feel that Viking Metal bands have.
