(( Axel Nimbus ))
The blue and white stallion stood in an open field as he nibbled on some fresh green grass. He had escaped being his teepee owner's model for a drawing on the teepee. The girl was bound to be running after him within a little bit to get Nimbus back to the teepee. He missed being with his mother and father and siblings. He hadn't seen them ever since he was a foal and when they met the herd. He chewed softly on the calm afternoon. It was incredibly warm for winter while the sun shone brightly above his head.

Walking through the tall grass, Axel was growing bored once more. Not that he was regularly entertained, he just got bored easily since things didn't hold his interest for very long. He tilted his head as he spotted another stallion nearby. The sun was indeed bright so Axel stayed within the shade of a tree. Regardless, he observed the stallion with brilliant emerald eyes.

As the light blue horse sat alone in the small clearing, his ears twitched softly as he could sense a pair of eyes watching him. He tucked his wings close to his body in case the two-leg or a hostile mare or stallion. He had a worried look on his face as he looked to and fro to try see what he felt was watching him. It could have just been his own paranoia.

Axel continued to stare at the sky blue soquili wondering who he was. He didn't think the other stallion was anything interesting though... then again, it was very difficult to impress or catch Axel's interest. Rather nonchalantly, Axel began to approach Nimbus and he wondered if the other stallion would keep his interest for very long. "Hello there."

Nimbus's ears shot up as he heard the soothing voice of another. He turned his head to look at who the voice belonged to. He dashed up on his feet quickly in case he needed to make a run for it or needed to take flight to escape what was in store. "Hello." He responded gently with a swish of his tail. "And who might you be?" He asked in a small voice.

Watching his movements carefully, Axel judged that this soquili seemed 'normal' enough. More normal then he was at least. "I go by Axel. Who are you?" There was a hint of disdain in his voice. Axel really didn't care what his name was because all that mattered was himself. He wasn't vain but he just didn't give a care for the world around him. They were all just pawns in the little game called life and so far, he was just here as an observer because he had no purpose.

"Nimbus." he said as he folded his wings close to his body, more relaxed. "so... Axel, what brings you to this little clearing." He asked in a voice that had no sense of demand. He was just curious of why this Soquili would take interest in the boring clearing...

"Pleasure." His words were empty though; Axel said very few things that he actually meant. "Absolutely nothing. Boredom is my main motivator in most things. What about you? I don't see anything in this clearing that would catch your interest either." He paused and chuckled to himself privately enjoying his own inside joke. "Why don't you do something to make this boring place a little more interesting? Entertain a fellow stallion perhaps?" Axel smirked mischievously wondering if Nimbus would listen to him or not. He seemed easily manipulated so it shouldn't be difficult to make Axel laugh.

Nimbus didn't want to sounds hostile towards his two-legger by telling Axel that he was running from her. "it just seemed like a nice place to take rest..." he responded as his voice drifted off. Nimbus was someone who couldn't take such simple hints or nudges that Axel was implying. He took a few steps closer to the red maned stallion as he spoke gently. "what do you mean?" his voice was full of innocence and cluelessness.

Oh boy, was this guy stupid or something? Axel raised a brow at Nimbus and wondered if he was joking or not. But once he gaged that Nimbus was not joking about not understanding what he said, he started to laugh heartily. "Hah. You're a funny one Nimbus. Thanks for getting me to laugh. That's quite the feat." And there was definitely some truth behind this because it was difficult to get Axel to laugh or show much emotion. "Nevermind about that. Just tell me, are you sure you're telling me the truth about why you're here?" He could sense that Nimbus was... hiding something from Axel and he didn't like secrets...

The white head of nimbus moved towards his body softly as Axel laughed. He was a little scared that this stallion might act in a frightful manner towards him. But he loosened as he heard Axel's soothing voice speak. His tail swished as the next question was interrogated quickly. He nodded softly, not really sure of whether to lie or to tell him the truth about his two-legger. "Yes. that's the reason..." He said as his voice drifted.

What a strange soquili... "I don't know why you'd want to hide stuff like that. It's not like I care." Axel shrugged slightly and raised a brow at him. Other soquili were just too difficult to figure out and he wasn't interested in learning about them because of this. Since every soquili were different, there's no reason to learn about this. It was way too much trouble and trouble that he did not care to partake in.
"If you're going to hide things, might as well not talk to others." Axel said no more. He had no secrets and didn't like it when others kept them from him. He believed that if you weren't completely truthful and blunt, then you should just go hide in a hole and become a hermit. Axel turned to leave the other stallion because his attention span was waning.

Nimbus looked at this stallion with a shocked look. 'does my facial expression show it that much?' he thought to himself. He didn't want to sounds hostile towards Lily. His voice was stopped like something got caught in his throat as the Soquili retorted. He took a step forward towards Axel. "it's just... some things are meant to be hidden and kept in the darkness. and..." His voice faded into nothing but words that lacked heart. "i was avoiding my two-legger." He spoke in a head strong voice. He reflected on his words that seemed to cut into his heart. He realized that the way he said it sounded more cruel towards the female in every way.

Even for a soquili that really didn't have feelings of his own, Axel was pretty sensitive to the feelings of those around him. Usually he could read them pretty accurately but sometimes he was just wrong. "I see, regardless, keeping them in the dark won't help. Darkness just makes everything worse..." Axel should know, he's been there. "See, even though you've told me what you were hiding, I don't know your motives behind avoiding your two-legger. So therefore, the information is useless to me." The stallion turned around and just stared at him with cold eyes. Axel didn't mean to be rude but he just couldn't help it.

He dipped his head softly as Axel spoke. 'that's true.' Nimbus thought to himself about the darkness comment and the reason he was running. He looked up to Axel who stared that Nimbus thought stung like a fresh cut. He nodded, trying to avoid eye contact. "um, yes." He spoke a bit louder than the sound of a cough.
