Once again, the purple-eyed lioness found herself alone. It was her fault; she could probably have tagged along with those she had met since. It was the restlessness that pulled at her, just as it had when she was a cub. Perhaps she should learn not to listen to it; it only got her in trouble. Regardless, she was alone again. Feeling baked by the son, the now hot and irritated lioness made a bee line for a small cluster of trees.
There, she hoped, she'd be able to get out of the son and cool off. Scenting the breeze, there were many scents and at the same time none. Hot earth, dust and prey that were almost too hard to catch. A few scents of lions and other animals wafted about, but it was like there were no scents. For as much as there was a lot, there was nothing she was looking for. A little sigh followed that tangent and she picked up her pace into a steady trot.

Although Kamaria enjoyed Roho's company greatly, she found that remaining in someone's company constantly forced the two of them to agree on everything that they did. Having travelled so long on her own, Kamaria was not used to this new attachment and agreement. The lioness was used to being on her own, as much as she preferred being in Roho's company.
Excusing herself and pulling away for a moment, Kamaria back tracked their steps in order to take a look at a particular cluster of trees. There was nothing particularly interesting about them, but the lioness simply needed to escape for a moment. She would be sure not to take long.
As she approached the trees, she noticed that another lioness was making her way towards the trees. She stood out dramatically upon the golden grass of the savanna. As the red colored lioness continued to approach, Kamaria paused.

Senatla paused when she got closer to the trees. She had never seen a lioness so white before, and yet here was one that could never be overlooked. The gray-spotted lioness reminded her a bit of the white leopard she had met not too long ago. With ears perked, her tail twitched as she tried to decide what to do. With a deep breath, she put one paw in front of the other and kept moving towards the trees, watching the lioness.
Unsure still of proper ways to greet and interact with others, she tried to improvise and hailed the lioness as she got within six feet of her, "Greetings". Her tone was friendly, but she didn't move closer still cautious of unknown lions. Even more so with this one, she looked like she had been in a few scraps and there was no way to know if whatever harmed her came out looking worse or better. Without that knowledge, she just assumed that the lioness was a skilled fighter or at the very least not one that she'd want to fight if there was a chance of escape.

Although Kamaria had paused, it seemed the other lioness was not as awkward about approaching. Senatla continued towards Kamaria and the pale lioness took a few retreating steps because of how quickly the red colored lioness came forward. With a sigh, Kamaria's ears lowered. She had wished to have a moment of peace without the company of Roho and found that she had met another stranger. Uncomfortable still from her quest to find the mistweavers, Kamaria gulped and awaited what was to come.
To her surprise, Senatla simply greeted her and smiled. She seemed somewhat uncomfortable up close and this caused Kamaria to return another awkward smile. At one point in Kamaria's life, she was a very optimistic, friendly lioness, always eager to meet a new face. If only the two could have met much earlier in her life?
Speaking quietly, Kamaria responded. "Greetings.. I am Kamaria." It was clear by the way that Kamaria held herself and spoke that she was not willing to simply trust Senatla.

Senatla felt like she was almost looking in the mirror. While she had gotten slightly better about greeting others, this lioness reminded her a lot of herself. Shifting around, uncomfortable in her fur due to the sun and its love of her dark red-brown fur, she was also uncomfortable with this awkward meeting. However, unwilling to move closer to the trees that this unknown thus unpredictable lioness, she could do nothing but hold her ground.
Shifting her paws slightly, she flicked her ear to be rid of a fly nearby before she spoke. "Pleasant day to you, Kamaria, I am Senatla." Every name had a meaning, she knew hers and the leopards, but Kamaria she didn't know. Not about to ask, she shifted her shoulders and tried to figure out what to do. It sounded more like she was leaving then a greeting, but what else was she supposed to do? She as lost as a cub and her body language let it out for the most part even if she tried not to show.

Kamaria bowed lightly in greeting towards this female. Having met a good number of lions during her life, it was clear to the spotted female that Senatla was just as uncomfortable, if not more uncomfortable than herself. Despite her uncomfort, she continued to introduce herself and remain where she was. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Senatla..." Kamaria's voice was quiet in response.
Glancing back over her shoulder, Kamaria regretted stepping out and leaving Roho's company. He was a pleasant lion and she had grown quickly attached to him. When she returned her gaze to the young female, Kamaria smiled lightly. Who was she fooling? This red colored lioness looked more uncomfortable with Kamaria's presense and the heat than a threat. Why was there such a great uncomfort.
Nudging back with her maw, Kamaria pointed to where the male, Roho lay. "The male over there, Roho, is my travelling companion.. We are wanderers. Do you have yourself a home?"

Senatla observed the female, watching her every movement. It was easier to feel a little bit more comfortable with the lioness seeing as she didn't talk like she was going to attack anytime soon. Twitching her tail, she was likewise not a threat, just very hot. Mimicking the lioness, she bowed her head slightly as she said it was a pleasure to meet her.
Following the female's eyes the first time, she didn't need to look the second time but did anyway, with ears perked. This was new enough, being around two fellow felines at the same time. The thought alone was scary enough to make her want to back up. However, she didn't she stood and answered, "You can say I have a home, everything you see is my home. The rogue lands are about the only home I have ever had." Her eyes wondered back to the lion. This is the first time she had been around a male lion anywhere near up close. They worried her; she had heard stories about rogue males.

Kamaria could tell by Senatla's response to Roho that she was awkward knowing that he was there. She was not sure whether it was because now there were two of them and still only one of her, or whether it was because he was a male. Whatever the case, Kamaria would try and make it clear that the two of them were not a threat and she understood if the other female was uncomfortable around males. Rogue males had an awful reputation with the rogue females. Kamaria, herself, had heard horrible stories of rogue males, though she believed that rogues females could be just as awful as well.
When Senatla explained that the roguelands were her home, Kamaria's ears remained lowered and she felt a pang of guilt for the female. She would have guessed that this were the case, but somewhat hoped that the female before her had someone to turn to for the night. Although Kamaria had grown bitter, she did not wish the rogue life for anyone.
"I once claimed the roguelands as my home, but no longer will I do that. Roho and I wander and will find places to belong....." And though she was unsure if this was the thing to do, she couldn't hold the words back, "..You are welcome to join us."

She watched the lioness, her ears lowering told her something, but she didn't understand. She knew it was supposed to mean something about how the lioness was feeling but she had forgotten how to truly read anything but aggression and friendly feelings. With her head slightly titled to the left she was open to hearing.
The first part hardly surprised her, most who come to the rogue lands are not visiting. She was even happy for her when she said that she had found her way out. Often Senatla wondered if she would ever find that.
Her head jerked up and ears were full forward as she tried to believe her ears. They wanted her to join them? Forgetting everything about her surroundings, even the harsh sun didn't bother her at this moment. "You," she tried to articulate, "want me to come with you?" She was stunned. She didn't know if she could do it, but it would be nice to try and see what it was like to travel in a group and actually be safe not depending on coming acrossed someone that could help her get something bigger than the small prey.

Kamaria was somewhat surprised with herself. She was bitter and wounded, but had still managed to pull the gentle part of her out from her core. Senatla appeared thin and seemed as though the company could truly be rewarding for her. Whether or not she agreed, or stayed for long, wouldn't matter to Kamaria. It was simply the fact that she managed to bring herself to offer.
With a nod, Kamaria continued to speak, "I don't mean to come off strange.. I mean.. I understand that we're both strangers, but I feel like my life is for something bigger now. I feel like I might be able to help you.." Kamaria was opening up more with Senatla now than she had with the many that had found her before. She was willing to risk becoming hurt again in the chance that she might be able to help.
Glancing back towards Roho, Kamaria smiled. "Roho saved me... and it seems like you might need a hand as well.."

Senatla looked truly hopeful. Although it was pride wounding as well, being that she was supposed to be someone's hero and now she needed help. With a deep breath she tried to help it by saying, "I can also help you, I am a good huntress." She didn't want to be a burden, now she wasn't a cub.
Looking back towards where the male was, she began to think that it was something to do with males. All the lionesses she had seen were alone, but this one was with a male. Did that make the difference? While she muddled through that conundrum, she answered, "I'd love to travel with you two." It would be different, just to be able to sleep without worrying. Shifting her paws and shaking her whole coat, the heat eating at her once again, or her awarness of it was back and taking revenge for lost time.

Kamaria had been lucky in her life as a rogue, never truly struggling for food, but never really becoming skilled in the art of hunting. It was simply a task that she completed when she was in need, but when Senatla claimed to be a wonderful huntress, this caused Kamaria to smile, "That is wonderful. I think each of us will have great skills to contribute to the whole..." She was not clear where the philisophical phrases were coming from, but she felt that this was something that was intended to happen. Why was it that she spent an entire life alone and only now, when she needed it the most, did she happen to wander by other lions that also seemed to need someone.
Smiling again as Senatla confirmed her joining, Kamaria nudged forward to begin their trek back to Roho. "Well then, with that decided, you should probably meet Roho.."
