If this is your first time ever hearing about a tekteking contest, and you just popped in here for the 5k prize, I suggest you learn a little about tekteking first (though I'm positive almost everyone has used tektek at least three or four times in this guild). In order to tektek an avatar, go to www.tektek.org, click the Dream Avatar Creator option, and click the next link after that to open the DAC tool. From there, have fun using creativity galore to fashion an avatar to your liking (or to someone else's, if it's for a contest) with all the available items tektek has. And remember to have fun! biggrin
Now, of course, there's a catch to this--I'm not going to be an easy one to tektek for. At all. There are a lot of things I like, and a lot of things I don't like. There are also a lot of items I already have, and a lot I don't have, so why don't I list some of this stuff for you, hmm? Guidelines, if you will.
Things Yuki Likes:
1.)Dark-themed avatars
2.)Avatars with an apparent theme or color scheme
3.)The colors: gold, blue, purple, black, and red
4.)Stripper avatars are <33333, especially dominatrix ones
5.)The Breezy, Silken, Sleek, Punk Streak, and Boyish are Yuki's favorite hairstyles (though if you can make clever use of another one, she will probably like it, too)
6.)Since it is December, Yuki is trying to find some sort of wintry/snowy/Christmas-themed avatar, but other avatars are loved, too
7.)Yuki <3333333333's shiny, uber-expensive, "OMG I could never afford that" items, especially the Dark Halo, Studded Leather Collar, and Nitemare Headband
8.)Medieval-fantasy creatures/dark mages, dark-angel/demons, etc, are some common themes she incorporates into her tekteks
9.) Yuki likes avatars that look as though they could be made into RP characters (she RPs a lot)
10.) Egyptian-themed avatars
11.) If you bothered to read all this, she likes you, too. xD
Things Yuki Doesn't Like
1.) Clutter. Clutter. Clutter. Yuki hates clutter. Did she mention she hates clutter?
2.) Uncreative dark avatars that are all black and have little to no other color in them. Color is a must.
3.) Cosplays, especially of Naruto. If she wants to do a cosplay, she will be creative and do it herself, thank you.
4.) Items that take up so much of the avatar you can't see it, such as Wild Things or the Nitemare Parasol/Angelic Parasol shield
5.) Stripper avatars that have less than six items on them.
6.) The Demonbow, the East/West Arch/Eye of the Demon of the Dark Halo, the Nitemare Boots, the Nitemare Wing/Dark Mask/Batstache of the Demonic Anklets, the Demonic Pitchfork, and the Demonic Pendant. Some of them are just too overused, and the rest are just ugly on guy avatars.
7.) Uncreative people who use stuff they've seen in the avatar arena. D<

Other Important Things To Know:
1.)You do not have to do a male avatar if you prefer doing female avvies; Yuki has a female mule that she can decorate with your ideas. <3
2.)If you plan on doing a male avatar, Yuki prefers you use Base 1 on Row 1 (the default skin), and either Style 1 or Style 2 eyes--color does not matter. Oculus Magica and Superior Form may be used to change these.
3.)If you plan on doing a female avatar, Yuki prefers you use either the default female base (first selection on the first row) or the vampire base. Style 1 and Style 3 eyes, any color, are preferred. Once again, you may use Oculus Magica and the Superior Form to change either one.
4.)Yuki likes creative use of the Mythic Hair. Her favorite forms so far are: Essence of Angels, Essence of Treasure, and Essence of Venomous Gaze.
5.)If you can make something completely creative that has none of the items or styles or other preferences from this list, and Yuki likes it, your chances of winning are greatly increased. Simply put, creativity = win. <3

I would list some of my items for you, but considering how a lot of people are on Gaia about just stupid pixels, I think I'll just leave you in the dark on that. You can guess at what I have by what you see equipped on me (and my avatar will frequently and sporadically change), but I'll leave it at that. But you needn't really worry, since there's no price limit. ^-^ Go as high as you want, but use your own judgement. I'm not rich, you know, so I can't afford a Devil Tail anytime within the next few months. o_O

If this is in any way against the SASSY'S GUILD rules, it was not stated anywhere, and therefore, the guild rules need to be updated and clarified about contests like this.
