Soft noises on the snow covered grass could be heard as a silver leopard male moved swiftly by. His eyes distant in thought, yet it seemed he knew where he was going. Thinking was what he did a lot lately. They were coming together now. Everything seemed to make sense. He yawned and finally stopped walking, sitting down he finally looked around his surroundings. The weather was rather nice, the air bit nippy. The snow had long stopped, though it looked as if it was going to snow again sometime soon.
There were trees everywhere, making it look funny with the ground showing under neath them leaving brown spots on the almost perfect white powdered ground. Nothing that really interested Takumi. His fur was thinker then normal, having his winter layer finally grown in a few days ago. Making him seem as if to shimmer more then normal. His silver fur with his gray leopard spots seemed to go nicely with the snow. His peridot green eyes stood out very well. Along with his pink tipped ears. He looked very bored, longing for someone to come by. Yet, also dreading it.

 Green and red strips floating over the fresh fluff of beautiful virgin white snow. The mostly white female blended in well and yet not quite well enough as she walked over was had been grass only a few hours ago. The cold didn’t bother her at all, it was the warmth of summer that she found uncomfortable. No, this in her opinion was quite lovely. She smiled slightly though the scarf she wore, which matched her red and green stripped tail, ear tufts and toes, hide the expression from view as she continued on.
She loved the sparkle the snow had as each tiny flake caught the light off of the sun and the way the trees looked, keeping herself aware of her surrounding and loving all the nature had to off her. Though as she looked around she noticed something off in the distance and stopped, squinting her emerald eyes. It wasn’t a something but a someone. Her smile widened, she hadn’t seen anyone in a few days and didn’t expect to find someone out in this cold.
So with a friendly smile she approached, her paws making next to no noise in the snow. Coming up beside the silver Ulaya she wasn’t she was taken back by his markings and colors. His puffly ball like tail matched hers but or some reason something in the back of her mind thought it was a little out of place. “ Hello ”

Takumi didn't notice another had even came into the picture of his little surroundings. No, he wasn't good with the whole hearing hunting thing. As a voice entered his ears he jumped and looked towards her. "Wahh!" He said in shock from the surprise of someone just being there. He didn't mean to let that escape his lips, yet it happened anyways. Taking a few steps back to actually take in the other's appearance.
She was funny looking. Something over her mother that he'd never seen before, was she choking? Did she need help? No. She couldn't have been choking, moments before she said something. What was it? He didn't know. He glared at her. "What is your problem?! Sneaking up on someone like that!" The only thing he could really say without thinking for the moment.

Noel’s eyes widened a moment at the others outburst before the green orbs softened again and she smiled. She hadn’t meant to scare him, but she knew she had. Stepping forwards a little she took a seat in the snow. She looked him over closer now she he had moved and she could see more of him. He had wonderful eyes, and his spots where so interesting. The pink tips on the ears where strange for a male but kind of cute. “ I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you like that. Are… you ok? ” Her voice was soft, though likely slightly muffled my the scarf over her mouth.

He snorted at her. Scare him? NEVER. Ok, yeah, she did frighten him a little. But it wasn't because she looked scary, it was the unexpectedness with her just appearing. "it wasn't that I was afraid, you just kind of popped out of no where." He said a bit rudely. His ears slightly back as he eyed the female. "I'm fine." He said. He knew he should relax a bit. "Do you go around sneaking up on everyone?" Still rude, though not as much. He was clamming down a bit. He never had it easy worming up to others.

She stopped herself from laughing and just smiled under the scarf. She didn’t seemed fazed at all but the rudeness he showed her, almost as if she wasn’t noticing it in the first place. “ Well I didn’t really mean to sneak up on you. I forget how quietly I can tread in the snow, second nature really. ” She took a second to glance back at her paw prints in the snow, the marks hardly slowing at all that she had been there. Her Father had taught her that if you stepped just the right way the prey wouldn’t head you coming and you’d leave no mark that you have ever been there.

Takumi snorted and just raised an eye brow. His curiosity wasn't going to let him ignore the strange thing around her face any longer. "Cant you take that off, and why do you wear something so funny on your face?" He paused "Are you hiding something?" Well he wasn't sure if she was ugly under neath it, or if she wore it because it was cold out.

The emerald green eyes shifted back to the male and this time she couldn’t help but laugh, but only slightly and for a quick second. “ It helps keep my nose warm that’s all. That’s about the only part of me that gets cold in weather like this really. ” Reaching up a paw she grabbed onto the scarf and pulled it away from her mouth, dropping it so it hung loosely around her neck. Her little pink nose instantly went cold as the air touched in and she wiggled it slightly in reaction. On the right side of her nose was a light pick line going up from her lip, a slowly healing cut she showed just through the fur but other then that there was nothing hidden under the scarf.

He glared at her for laughing at him. What did he say that was so funny? He didn't ask, but only turned his head away slightly. Well, nothing scary was beneath it. But what would he have done if there was? Nothing. Nothing at all, but perhaps back away from her a bit more. Though, at least he knew why she was hiding her face, the thought of something didn't linger in the back of his head."Sorry, curiosity killed the Ulaya, you know."

“ No apology needed. ” And the smiled graced her lips and she shook her head slightly “ Now ” She stood and took another step closed to the male. “ I think we go off on the wrong paw, and my mother always taught me to be polite so I can’t let that stay. ” She bowed her head slightly towards him. “ My names Noël, nice to meet you. ” Taking a seat again she waited to see if he’d introduced himself but really she wasn’t going to be surprised if he didn’t.

It wasn't like he really meant the sorry anyways. He wanted to snicker, but he didn't. He watched her step closer, but took a half step back feeling uncomfortable about being close to someone he didn't know. "Takumi" He said with nothing else. "Pleasure." Though he didn't look as if he was too happy about this meeting. Deep down, he didn't mind it too much. But he couldn't let other's see that. It was best to push others way. Keep them away from his family.

She could tell that he was uneasy about her being there, uncomfortable about being near her. Cautious maybe? And he didn‘t look at all happy about meeting her really. “ Takumi, that’s an interesting name. I really am sorry for sneaking up on you, forgive me? ” She hoped that maybe another apology might be able to make him dislike her a little less, she didn’t realize that he was feeling differently then he looked.

Where they not over that part yet? He didn't realize his actions made it see that he was still upset over the sneaking up on. Even though, he had kind of forgot about it until she brought it up again. " Sure?" He said raising an eye brow. He was completely still, watching her and hoped she wouldn't get any closer. "I thought we already got that part situated." He said. Truth be told, Takumi didn't know how to act around others but to show rudeness. It was what his father showed him, and it was what he knew. Even when he was a kit he was rude. Though, in a totally different aspect of things.

Nodding she smiled as she watched him her eyes focused on his peridot ones. She had only wanted to be sure he wasn’t still upset. To her his posture and tone made it seem like he was. “ I just wanted to make sure. ” Looking around a second to see if anyone else was near before she laid herself down in the slow, resting her paws on the tail end of her scarf to keep them a little warmer. “ So, where you waiting for someone? ”
