Victoria got into her car and sped down the darkened street, her favorite My Chemical Romance cd blaring. Something jumped in front of her car, wearing a midnight colored cloak. She slammed on the brakes, making the tires scream for their life. She rolled down the window, a blast of cold air blew her orange hair back. "Why, Eliza, didn't your mother ever teach you to stay inside with vampires roaming?" She said with a smirk.

Eliza crouched before the coal black sports car, her normally golden eyes turning the same color as the RX-7. As the car screeched to a halt, Eliza Runnings stood and walked to the driver's side of the car. She tapped on the window, her expression hard and tense. Well, more then usual. "I need to talk to you." she said through clenched teeth. Eliza's hand traced the tiny, breakable handle of the car. With one finger, she could pull the entire door off if she wanted too. I better not.. she thought.

"Russel you can leave now."
Russel looked up at the man above him at the top of the pit.
"Almost done! I've got one or two more flats to nail down and we'll be ready to paint and sand tomorrow." he said climbing out and dusting off his jeans that were covered in paint,dust, and wood chips.
"Your a weird kid you know that?" said the other man patting him on the back as he left.
"You have no idea!"he yelled back at him as he took his jacket and walked out of the theater and onto the street.

"Eliza, you bring me shame." Victoria said swiftly. "You act like some big, destroying mechanism, when really you're not that scary. Well, except for you face." she shot, a wide grin sprouting across her face.

[Holy crap!! You're Victoria!! *hides*]

Rolling her eyes, Eliza walked around the front of the car. She opened the passenger side door and slipped inside, proceeding to tinker with the radio. "How again do I act like a big destroying mechanism?" she asked, her tone ice cold. "Anyway," she continued, not giving Victoria enough time to answer, "I'm a little pissed that there are going to be.." she paused for a moment, choking out the next word, "dogs attending the school." Dogs were also known as werewolves, and Eliza hated every aspect of their being.

"You're not the only one." she said. She stepped on the gas, making the tires squeal once again. "We all have to try to get along. You heard about them trying to make peace with us. We all have to TRY to be civilized." she chocked. "But that doesn't mean we can't play a few HARMLESS tricks on them." she said, laughing. The windows were still rolled down, so Victoria dropped the top letting their hair blow against the wind. She stepped even harder on the gas reaching 125, she cackled.

Smiling in agreement, Eliza turned her head and gazed out of the window. Although her eyes displayed trees and foliage, her mind was filled with images of engine pistons, rotors, and oil lubricating the engine and all its parts. She sighed and looked back into the car, frowning at Victoria's automatic transmission. "Manual is so much more efficient then automatic. You can shift better, get more power through each of the gears.." she trailed off, the engine sideshow running through her mind once again.

"Um, Eliza, look what my hand is on." Victoria loved to make her look stupid. "It's okay, my vision has been cloudy, too. I know something bad is going to happen, but I can't put my fangs on it......" she trailed off. Her golden eyes slowly changing black, in alert. She looked up. "Do...you..SMELL...that? It...smells....like.... DOG!!!" she shrieked

Eliza continued staring absentmindedly out of the window. Her mind was still intent on the complicated motors and parts of an engine. Only when Victoria screamed did Eliza snap back into reality. "Victoria," she said, turning her head away form the window. "Didn't you just say that we were to keep calm about the whole mutt issue?" she asked, raising an eyebrow at Victoria's antics.

"Not when they're trying to terrorize the dorm!" she shrieked. She grabbed the clutch and put it into fourth, and stepped on the gas. "HANG ON TO SOMETHING!!" she screamed.

[Remember - that car can really only get up to about 130-135. And you don't grab the clutch. You step on it - its controlled by a pedal. You grab the shifting knob. ]

Eliza sighed and took hold of a small handle just above the door. Like this minuscule little thing is gonna help.. she thought, rolling her eyes. "It's not like we're the principal or anything." Eliza said, looking straight ahead at the road. "Really, I could care less if they did anything to the school." She sighed inwardly again and began drumming the fingers of her free hand against the dashboard. "The school's just a haven for me. I've already learned everything they have to offer." she muttered.

Taking a quick left and starting to jog to get to school Russel sighed and pulled his backpack around to the front of him to rummage for his CD player.
"I really hope I'm not late..." he muttered through the spiral notebook he had shoved in his mouth to hold as he dug through the bag frantic to find the small portable device.
