I'm so cheap, I just keep up with some web comics. @_@ I've whiddled down to two comics now.
http://nuklearpower.com/
Final Fantasy sprite comic? That's been going on since who knows how long. Over 1000 pages if you include all the bonuses and fillers that Brian Clevinger made so far, and still going.
http://www.sorethumbsonline.com/d/20040308.html
And Sore Thumbs. It's a comic that revolves around video games and politics, which has more of a punch at today's society. o_o ... D= Ugh. I sound like a social study teacher. That's the first page, and you can read on by clicking Next. I would suggest reading in order since it does have some story.
... oh, and there's always www.vgcats.com although they don't update as often as these two.
I used to read more comics and stuff, but they lost interest or ended.
Like www.bonusstages.com D= I loved Matt Wilson's cartoons, but he quit making these webtoons.. I think.. I think he works for Nickelodeon's cartoon channel or something.. Not exactly sure what his role is in there.. D= ... Nor can I believe that Cartoon Network declined him? And all that crappy a** shows still get on that channel. Wtf.

I'm realy liking Busou Renkin (Yay for Nobuhiro Watsuki) as a manga. Air Gear and Suzuka to a lesser extent. Still nothing compares to my favourite, Love Hina.
As for books, I'm currently reading "The Last Wish" which goes hand-in-hand with mah recent videogame puchase, The Witcher.

Spoilers, though not heavy.
I'm currently reading the One Piece manga. Water 7 and Enres Lobby are both pretty epic story arcs, especially considering that they are waging themselves to the World Government. I pray that Oda delivers a good ending because to far the storytelling exceeded my expectations especially with the amount of unpredictability.
Bleach.... Well... I'm pretty much tired of the storytelling altogether.... It seems as if it won't get any more interesting until Aizen's plan goes into play.. Then again, Aizen is the only b*****d that made the story interesting for me from the start. Everyone else bores me with fan-service.
Other than that, I still do to finish up the Suzuka manga. I'd really do anything for a girl that slaps me to show affection. lol.
Manga I'm going to read soon is Lovely Complex... I usually hate this kinda stuff, but heck.

Well, as for manga, Princess Ai. I just love that manga.
Book I'm reading right now is Xenocide. :3 It's part of a series called Ender's Game that my friend suggested I read. I swear, it's probably one of the most awesome Sci-Fi books ever. x3

I'm currently reading Warrior Queen. It's a novelization of Boudica/Boadicea who led a rebellion against the Romans in 60 AD [/nerd].

I dunno if can be considered reading a book ( probably NOT.) I'm writing and reading over a story I made. Tense, I tell you! Dx Just right now, they killed Soren's best friend Connor! Yaaah! and then he evacuated in the lab. Soren is going fuse himself with his own son...what a nut he is......
I'm also reading a book called Seeing Redd.

I finished reading "The Last Wish". Really neat. It's told through flashbacks/short stories. For a polish book (obviously translated) it's not too bad. I was also happy to see that the game "The Witcher"'s opening movie was the fight between the Striga and Geralt word for word (the very beginning of the book). It was also amazingly well animated... And like I said, word for word. I was happy. (Would it be so hard for people to make movies word for word? gonk Probably, but I can always hope.)
As for reading... I'll be starting the comic Transmetropolitan (volume 2). It's a really neat concept. Really a dysfunctional future... And it's actually a comic. Not a manga.

Wow... Just Wow.
Transmetropolitan is amazing. I'm up to volume 9 (out of 11... 1-10 and volume "0"). It has a great storyline and all together is a massive comment on today's society.
