Yes, these questions (and more) will be covered.

Warning: Do not be offended, you ask for my opinion and I will give it to you.
Don't worry, it's just what one person thinks about you.

So Tell Me Oh Great Stereotype Queen, What exactly Is Goth?
Well, there really is no right or wrong answer.
Plenty of people will tell you it's a fashion, others a lifestyle.
Some will be smart about it and say they were people who defeated Rome and there is no more such thing as Goth. That I can tell you is true, about Rome, but Goth (the present) is very much living.

Goth is both fashion and sometimes a lifestyle depending on the person.
As I said before there are no right or wrong answers.

Wikipedia defines Goth as -is a contemporary subculture found in many countries. It began in the United Kingdom during the early 1980s in the gothic rock scene, an offshoot of the post-punk genre. The goth subculture has survived much longer than others of the same era, and has continued to diversify. Its imagery and cultural proclivities indicate influences from nineteenth century Gothic literature along with horror movies and -according to César Fuentes Rodríguez and Carol Siegel- to a lesser extent, the BDSM culture[1][2]

The goth subculture has associated tastes in music, aesthetics, and fashion, whether or not all individuals who share those tastes are in fact members of the goth subculture. Gothic music encompasses a number of different styles. Common to all is a tendency towards a lugubrious, mystical sound and outlook. Styles of dress within the subculture range from death rock, punk, androgynous, medieval, some Renaissance and Victorian style clothes, or combinations of the above, most often with black attire, makeup and hair.

Ok Genius, what kinds of Goths are there?

There are many branches of the Goth Subculture.
Many names given to Goths in certain areas.
Many of everything.

The special thing about Goth is that each person is different.
Yes, there is just something about the Goth Subculture that ties us all together but all of us in the subculture are different.
We may sometimes have the same hair style or the same piercings but all in all we have different personalities.

A simple list of Goth Types:
Cyber Goth
Glitter Goth
Metal Goth
Punk Goth
PerkyGot
TONS MORE!

How Can I Turn Goth?
That's something you'll have to figure out for yourself.
Everyone has their different opinions on what goth is, you'll have to find your own.

So you just told me a simple idea of what Goth is all about, now how about Punk?
Punk is a subculture based around Punk Rock Music. It is a do it yourself (DIY) fashion but now of course these days you can buy anything in stores.
The scene really started to kick off in the 70's mostly in the UK and the US.
Bands such as The Ramones, Sex Pistols and The Clash were the popular of the bunch.

I'm not really a Punk Guru so i don't know so much about it.
I will leave Wikipedia to explain the rest.
The punk subculture is a subculture that is based around punk rock. It emerged from the larger rock and roll scene in the mid-to-late-1970s in the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia. The punk movement has spread around the globe and developed into a number of different forms.

Punk culture encompasses distinct styles of music, ideologies, fashion, visual art, dance, literature, and film. Punk also lays claim to a lifestyle and community.[1] The punk scene is composed of an assortment of smaller subcultures, such as Oi! and pop punk. These subcultures distinguish themselves through unique expressions of punk culture. Several subcultures have developed out of punk to become distinct in their own right, including hardcore, goth and psychobilly. The punk movement has had a tumultuous relationship with popular culture, and struggles to resist commercialization and appropriation.
--------------------

So..How many types of Punks are there?
Not as many as there is in the Goth subculture but I'll give you a short list anyway:
Cyber Punk
Anarcho punk
Glam punk
Oi!
Riot grrrl
And a few more.

How can I turn Punk?

Just do it. It's really not that hard.
Grab some safety pins and some plaid and get an attitude.
There ya go.

Ok that's a really weird one that I have never heard of. WTH is a Rivet Head??
A Rivet Head, Rivethead, or Riveter is a person who is a huge fan of Industrial Music. They really do not have any particular fashion, some like cybergoth/punk fashion others enjoy military apparel, and whatever else.
Fame Rivetheads use their sexuality for their look. They do not wear a lot of makeup and are Femme Fatale.

Wikipedia says - A Rivethead is "a fan of Industrial"[1] or, better still, a person associated with the Industrial Music scene[2]. Although the culture around Industrial Music was already flourishing during the early Post-punk period[citation needed], the identifiable stereotype of an Industrial fan would only emerge in the 1990s[3].
---------

So Unlike Punk and Goth Rivetheads don't have other types do they?
No..not really.
Rivetheads are whatever they feel like being, they really have no certain fashion.

How do I become Rivethead.
Listen to Industrial.
Wear whatever the hell you want if your a guy, if you're a girl show off your body, babe! Kick a**!

What is a Graver?
Goth + Raver = Graver.
They have the raver attitude but are mostly found wearing darker type clothes instead of the common bright colors found along with the Raver stereotype. They commonly listen to darker electronic music instead of regular trance.

The different between Cyber Goth and Raver.

Ravers normally wear UFO pants, very bright colors and have baby tees with cartoon characters on them. They enjoy going to raves and some even like doing drugs.

Cyber Goth enjoys going to clubs to hear industrial music, darkwave, and whatever else. They can wear bright colors but stick more to vinyl futuristic things and less child-ish things. (besides their light up toy guns)

What is a Mall Goth, Kinder Goth, Baby Bat, Candy Goth, Spooky Kid?

Have you ever seen those kids that look sort of Goth but not fully dedicated to it? They constantly listen to Marilyn Manson like he's a total god and pretty much don't know any other "goth" music.
Yeah, those kids.

They are what we know as posers, fakes, wannabes.
Most are young teenagers calling themselves "Emo-Goths" because it's the in thing to do, when in fact anyone who has been in the goth scene long enough knows there is no such thing as an Emo-Goth.

Okay, random question time.

Can I be a casual-goth?

Dress usually in black, but find no real need to waste the eyeliner and lipstick in school, or when just hanging out. I love my JTHM, but then again who doesn't? Yes, I shop at hot topic but that's because Tripps are comfy, and I want a H.I.M. hoodie. I want a good comfy trenchcoat, but the my lord satan (mother) refuses because my school has banned them. Stupid school. I dislike all other jackets, so a hoodie works for me, and again, they're comfy.

Maybe I should change that to comfy-goth?

So, I'm not entirely sure where I fit it. I love H.I.M., Beethoven, Phantom of the Opera, Malice Mizer (Gackt = fail), Some Dir En Grey, Mindless Self Indulgence, Manson's OLD stuff, some NIN, 3 Days Grace, Avenged Sevenfold, some Tool, Dethklok, some Metallica, some Bella Morte, Within Tempations, Enya, and Lorenna Mckennet. (just to list a few)

I understand my spelling fails, but ah well.

Ah! I also adore video games, and hope to collect ALL of the Final Fantasy Soundtracks. -luff FF-

So, I'm not entirely sure where I fit in. I used to be screamed at and have crosses thrown at me by the schoolpeople, but thats before I got conservative on the makeups.

Also, I can't dye my hair because of JROTC, stupid peoples, and I'm not sure what to do with it when it comes to just cutting it. So, I'm am at all lostly hopeless. My brain goes rawr at times because of it.

I am also hopelessly obsessed with art. There is no day where unless I am completely deprived of supplies, I at least draw something in a day. T___T

So I am so boggles with what to think of myself anymore.

Help?

You sound Casual Goth.
You're Goth enough to be called Goth.

This means not everyday are you in the Goth lifestyle or fashion.
There are some things stereotypical "hardcore" Goths would dislike but overall you're just yourself with a Casual Goth label attached.

I like the sound of this. I wanna get 'typed.

-Fashion styles tend to range from DIY attempts at visual-kei style to tight-fitting jeans and leather
-Favorite music is ranging from David Bowie to Dir en grey to Skinny Puppy to Dimmu Borgir
-Artistic
-Would like to start an industrial band
-Relatively styleable medium-length blonde hair that can occasionally be seen in outlandish, sharp hairstyles
-Favorite kind of humor is at the expense of others
-Makeup-wearer

I know I'm somewhere in there, probably a bit of everything.
