Karasu emerged on the cliffs of the mountain. He was glad to away from the crowded mountain peak where all the wolves had seemed to congregate. He'd been told by another wolf, one he hadn't seen in ages, that he would have been a good leader. He was neither leader of this or any other pack; he simply couldn't stand the larger groupings.

He sat on the cliff in human form, watching the sunset over the packlands. It cast its warm glow on him as is dropped in the sky. A sigh of relief came with the silence around him before a howl, long and sad, passed through his lips.

Karasu didn't turn to look. "Get busy up there?"

"Farther up the mountain...It was getting a bit crowded there..." He shook his head as he moved to adjust the collar on his trench coat.

"So.....now what?" The sun was sinking fast and the colder air was upon them. He turned to her and grinned quickly before rising.

"Well....that really gives us options now doesn't it?" He laughed as he turned to the drop off. Inches from the edge, he turned his head back to grin before flipping over the edge and plummeting to the ground far below. He merged into a wolf and spread his wings just in time to save himself from death and swooped forward.

Karasu spun around and grabbed her, closing his wings as the began to fall from the sky.

Karasu laughed with her. It was quite the thrill to freefall. With just enough time to swoop out of harm's way, he released and flew on with a laugh.

Karasu called out behind him. "Isn't it though?" He skimmed the top of a river before landing on the bank. He folded his wings against his side and walked along at a gentle pace.
