Has anyone ever had them? I know that I had my first one with my ex a few years ago when we were together and just last night I had one with the guy I like from work (see "Sex....ophobia?" for details). Should I tell him that I've had a sex dream about him or should I just keep it quiet?

I have had them. Many times, to be honest. 90% of them includes my current gf.
But yeah, it may happen to have a sex dream with someone else. It's not necessarily because we want to, it's maybe because we have the slight desire to imagine how would it be if it happened. The mind plays a lot with us, just be sure you don't cheat (IF you have a bf).
Bottom line, if you have enough trust with the person, then tell him. If you think that there's not enough trust to talk about those intimate themes, then avoid, because it could be misunderstood easily. After all, it's just a dream.

Sex dreams are very common. I have them all the time. There is no reason for you to have to tell people when you have sex dreams about them. In fact, if you went around telling everyone when you had a sex dream about them, it could make for some pretty awkward moments. People often have sex dreams about a cousin, parent, sibling, ex-partner, boss, etc.

I couldn't agree more. If I had to say how many women I have had sex dreams of, I couldn't end. LOL. And telling all of them... no way.
But it seems to me that she's specifically thinking about someone in particular. So, it really depends on trust, and confidence. It's up to you OP.

I had one last night. I don't know this girl at all and she started to give me a BJ, but then she disappeared. It felt good and so real and it made my upset she just vanished, because she didn't finish what she started.

I really enjoyed the sex dream I had the other night. I got mad at my alarm clock when it woke me up XD. I haven't told him yet. I guess he didn't have the best day yesterday so he wasn't in a very talkative mood. I do want to tell him that I've had the dream, but since we've been arguing about having sex for almost as long as we've known each other, I feel like he won't let me live it down. It'll make for a fun argument though. xd

From what you've said about him before, it sounds like if you told him about the dream, he would say something like, "See? If you had a dream about it, you must be ready to do it. Let's have sex now." rolleyes

rofl LOL THAT WOULD BE SOOO TRUE!!!
I can picture him saying those exact words too. It would be so much fun to see what would happen. I'm going to try to see if I can get a hold of a clinic so I can get some bc pills before I start thinking about actually doing it. But it's weird. I've never really had thoughts like these before. I guess he's 'opening me up' so to speak. I've kept to myself all my life and I've had it drilled into me that sex is bad and with him keeping it to me that it's not that bad, I don't think I would feel so guilty if I did do it with him.

That would be great. Then you could kind of get used to taking them every day before having sex. 3nodding

I almost never have sex dreams, I don't know why. I always figured it's because I'm a girl, and figured it was more of a guy thing to have those. I have had one I think, but I can barely remember it now, all I know was it was with my boyfriend, and then I had a few that seemed like they were leaning towards turning sexual with him, but they either just stopped or I woke up or something. My boyfriend has them about me every once in a while. He usually tells me about it when he does. XD I actually like hearing about his dreams involving me. I think if it's someone you're in a serious relationship with there's nothing wrong with telling them, they'd probably like hearing about it if they think of you in the same way. But if it's just some random person, I wouldn't tell them. XD

I always am like, just about to have sex, or just about to get a handjob or BJ or whatever when the dream ends. Damn you dreams, you delay to much. I swear she was leaning it when it ends, its really sad. I have had a few, but one of them consisted of me a girl and one of my good guy friends which freaked me out. You can't control dreams.. I won't even go start about the one with my aunt. -shivers-
