What are your opinions on the worst Gorillaz song(s)? Meaning, which songs do you think are the worst?(Let's not get angry in here. They're all personal opinions)
Personally, I hate the repetitiveness of White Light and M1A1. I love the ideas, but I'm not that patient. Nor is my iPod battery.
EDIT: White Light has grown on me. Love it. I also love M1A1 now. xP But the beginning is still extremely long and scary.

'The Swagga' is a little too.... um... Murdoc for me. It has no issues at heart, it's just like drunk ramblings. But I don't think it's the worst, oh no.
The title of Worst, in my humble opinion, is a draw between 'November Has Come', as the rapping in this is nonsensical and repeditive, and 'People', which is essentially a more annoying version of 'Dare' with different lyrics (more meaningful, yes. But even 'Dare' was something to be listened to occasionally, otherwise it just got annoying. -.-').
There are a lot of Phase One songs which are pretty 'Meh', like '5/4' and even 'Rock The House'. I mean, they're good, but... still not... wonderful. Oh. And 2D's songs ('12D3' and 'Hip Albatross') get really, really annoying after a while... he's lovely, but as my netfriend Dag says, "That's the next Mozart, right thur." Not.

There's this one remix of 19-2000 (I think it's the Wiseguy's House of something, or something like that) where there's one part where they just keep playing the part where 2D goes "Oh yes now" over and OVER and OVER! And just when you think they're done, they start playing "My mama said" over and over along with it! I mean, it doesn't really have to go on longer than the rest of the song?
That's my only complaint, right now. I'm sure others will come up, eventually.

Ooare There are a lot of Phase One songs which are pretty 'Meh', like '5/4'... I found that song just plain dumb. I really can't see the creativity in that anywhere.

The creativity in 5/4 is that it's in a 5:4 time signature. If you've ever played from sheet music, you can probably imagine how hard that is to play. The Mission: Impossible Theme is similar - the timing is so strange that it's really hard to play. I just find the song really... underwhelming. 2D The timing throws me a bit in this. It's like patting your head and rubbing your tummy at the same time. Bit difficult. That's from ROTO. Murdoc seems impressed by it though - which might be why I don't like it. I don't really like any of his songs...

I never could get myself to listen to "Double Bass" throughly. "Kids With Guns" can sound catchy at times, but it's probably the song from Demon Days I like the least. neutral
"The Swagga" another one I don't like. I really don't like much of the remixes of Gorillaz songs either.

It's experimental... and for every experiment that goes amazingly right, such as 'Dare', there's going to be at least one that goes terribly wrong, I suppose. That's how I see it, anyway.
Most of these songs I don't hate (except for 'November Has Come') but I'd just... rather listen to the others...

911, possibly.
Probably because the only hint of Gorillaz you hear in that song is the music. And that's very little. :/
