"A disease you can't resist~!" Ikeku grinned as he cupped hands about his lips, calling out to the priest as he stomped away in complete rage at his actions. Laenariel shook comically, still sobbing and rubbing her eyes. "Aw, my love, don't worry," the young man smiled, brushing fingers through her dark locks, "Mommy still loves you, even if your father is A STUCK UP, TIGHT a** WHO DOESN'T KNOW THE MEANING OF PAYING CHILD SUPPORT!" His increase in loudness of the name calling was obvious on purpose: To anger the priest even more.
Hakkai blinked, observing with a smile, "Well, that situation solved itself, wouldn't you agree?" He glanced at Anaila with another smile as she referred to Sanzo who moved away from the group quickly. "Oh, miss Anaila?" the man called to her as the woman sprinted off in an opposite direction for some reason she only knew, "Anaila?" He followed behind, shocked when she suddenly let out a frightened scream and Gojyo's name. "A-anaila, what's wrong?" Hakkai questioned in shock, quickening his pace and rushing forward until he stood at her side, feeling the same sinking feeling as the floor squished beneath his shoes. Gojyo's bloodied body came into his view, causing him to fall at the half demon's side in worry, "Gojyo, what happened to you? Hold still........I'll try to heal those wounds....I just hope they're not too deep......." With those words, chi began to build within his hands, though different than the type he used for attack.
Laenariel was torn between her friends as she watched the priest and Anaila quickly head off in different directions. "Uh.....Sanzo!" she called out, rushing after the priest to catch up, leaving Ikeku and Xel behind her. "Lori!" Ikeku called out as she disappeared into the darkness, the glowing light within her hands the only visible thing as she moved further down the hall after the priest, "Damn....lost her again to that b*****d......."
"Sanzo......" the girl smiled, coming up on the man and tugging at his sleeve, "Don't be so angry......Ikeku was just kidding...So was I......I know you'd pay child support. <3" Her golden red heretical hues danced within the light glowing from her hand as she looked up at the blond. She paused, however, knowing that what she was saying probably meant absolutely nothing to him, "Sanzo.......I know how you get when it rains....But...lately you haven't been reacting so poorly to it...a-and...I was sort of hoping......you were healing....." She trembled as her gaze dropped to the darkened carpet below, "I was.....hoping that maybe....I could help in some tiny way.......Guess that was foolish on my part, yes?"
