A/N: It took a lot of courage for me to share this. I was so scared the second anyone caught wind of it I'd be branded as a witch and locked up. It's that dark. Let me say one thing, praying that it'll keep you from thinking of me as serial killer, or someone unquestionably evil, as most would assume you'd have to be to write this. This is a satire. It's not intended to be funny, but it is a satire and nothing more. It is a satire of the religious right and their misplaced morality. There's no Blanche, and if their was it wouldn't be me. Jasper County isn't a real place, and none of the girls in this story are even loosely based on real people. The original concept for this story had nothing to do with a serial killer, but it evolved to something very twisted over time. Most of my writing is dark, but I am not a violent person. I've never been in a fight, and I've never cause any harm to another human. Please don't call the police and get me halled off for this! And if you don't immediatly want me locked away, please review this for me. I need feedback more than ever!

1

Sixteen. How old am I? Sixteen. I've said it so many times I almost believe it. I don't say it to get into a club or anything. You have to be older than sixteen to do that. It's so people don't underestimate me. I look sixteen. I act sixteen. No one doubts that I am.

2

My name means white. I don't know in what launguage it means white, I just know that it does. My mom told me once. She read it in a baby name book when she decided what to name me. Spanish for white is close to my name, but it's not. Some people say it's boring, but I like it. It's uncommon, but not weird like some kids names. I'm not sure if it's fitting or not. White can be virginal and white can be pure. There's a difference.

3

"Are you emo or something?"

"Something."

"What?"

"You asked me if I was emo or if I was something. I'm something."

4

I don't like my blood. I like other people's blood, but not my own. I don't know why. It's hard to explain. It's fun to see other people bleed, it gives me a rush. When I bleed all I feel is pain. Some kids say I'm an emo. I'm not. I don't cut myself. I cut other people.

5

"Why do you have blood on your shirt?"

"I have blood on my shirt?"

"Yes, Blanche, you do."

"Oh, I don't know how that happened."

"Did you get hurt?"

"No. I think it's just Ketchup."

6

I'm a good liar.

7

To whom it may concern:

This is just the begining.

Love,
The Virgin

8

She was pretty. Prettier than me. I don't like girls who are prettier than me. I wore gloves when I did it. And I tied back all my hair. I have a lot of hair and I didn't want to lose track of any of it. It doesn't matter, though. They never found her. It'll be centuries before anyone does. But I sent them enough of her. They'll know what happened.

9

"Hey Sally! Wait up!"

"What is it?"

"I have something to show you."

"What?"

"Follow me."

"Just tell me what it is. I don't have time for this, Blanche."

"C'mon, it'll only take a minute."

"Fine, but this better be good."

10

Her parents are on the news. They'll give $10,000 to whoever knows who did it. I'm the only living person who knows. And my lips are sealed tight.

11

I wear a lot of pink. I make straight A's. I used to be a cheerleader. A lot of guys think I'm hot. Would they still think that if they knew what I did last week? Or what I'm going to do tommorrow? Probably. Boys have one track minds,

12

To whom it may concern:

More to come!

Love,
The Virgin

13

My parents are old fashioned. They bought me this ring when I turned ten. When they gave it to me they made me pledge to be a virgin until I got married. It has a cross on it and says "Love Waits". I'm supposed to wear it until it gets replaced with a wedding ring. I also had to sign a pledge in school saying I wouldn't have sex. I remember when they passed out the pledges Sandy Mitchell wouldn't sign. One of friends told her she didn't actually have to stay a virgin, that it was just for show. She said she was going to stay a virgin reguardless, but that it was the principal of the thing. She said it wasn't the school's place to preach morality to us. I made her sign it before I killed her. It was the principal of the thing.

14

Sandy and Sally both have mothers on TV. I don't know why the police think it's a man who did it. I signed the letters "The Virgin". As far as I've been taught men can't be virgins. Or at least it's not important that they are.

15

"Blanche, go help your sister."

"I'm fine mom, I don't need Blanche to help me!"

"Don't be embarrassed, honey. Just because Blanche is younger than you doesn't mean she's not better at these things."

"Yeah Mary, I get better grades than you do."

16

I don't know why everyone thinks I'm an emo. I don't look like an emo.

17

"We have breaking news in the Virgin Murder cases. Police have arrested Robert Devon, 38. Police claim the suspect is connected to the recent brutal murders of Sally Granger and Sandy Mitchell, both students at Highland Falls Middle in Jasper County. More on this at 6:30."

18

The school is a mess. Everyone's parents are scared their little girl will be next. And I'm the only one who knows for sure I won't be. The school is still open but some kids aren't going. They don't want to end up dead.

19

I didn't realize it had reached the national level. All over America people are talking about the two girls who got killed. About how all the police got was their hearts taken out of their bodies and a note from some nut job who calls himself "The Virgin". I always wanted to be famous.

20

I buried them together. It's kind of ironic when you think about it. They hated each other. The only thing they have in common was that I hated them both.

21

"There are camera crews everywhere. It's so cool."

"I know. Who'd ever think our little town could be so famous?"

"Yeah, and no one liked those girls anyway."

" I know, Mary. I certainly didn't."

22

She didn't see any danger in going off alone with me. Even though I was taller than her and could easily overpower her. After all, what's the worst a twelve-year-old girl could do? And besides, she thinks we're friends.

23

To whom it may concern:

This one put up quite a fight. And you got the wrong guy.

Love,
The Virgin

24

Tuesday everyone talked about Jessica Wren going missing. The police got the package on Thursday. By Saturday all of America was talking.

25

My mom's letting me stay home from school today. She's scared I'll be next. I'm glad because, despite being good at it, I hate school as much as the next kid. Mary had to go. She's in highschool and all the dead girls were in Middle School.

26

Everyone's talking because Georgie Warstein went missing. I have a letter to write.

27

To whom it may concern:

I have no problem with Georgie Warstein. If I did you'd have got a piece of her by now.

Love,
The Virgin

28

"Today the police have released a statement on the disappearence of fourteen-year-old Georgiana Warstein of Jasper County. They do not believe her disappearence is connected with the Virgin Murders."

29

"What kind of sick person does that sort of thing to three little girls? The youngest one was only eleven!"

"I know Mathew. Whoever did this is twisted."

"I'm just glad our girls are safe at home. We should start homeschooling them. It's safer that way."

"I agree. Besides, who knows what immoral things they pick up at school?"

30

Georgie Weinstein showed up yesterday. Turns out she ran away from home.

31

"Blanche! There you are! I've been looking for you. Where've you been?"

"My parents won't let me leave the house except for Church. They're all worked up about the serial killer."

"Then what are you doing here?"

"They think I'm at Sunday School."

"Why aren't you? I though you were a good little girl."

"I have more imporatant things to do."

"What's his name?"

"It's not a boy, Claire."

"Sure it isn't."

"Seriously, it's not! You know as well as I do than I stay away from boys. Being alone with a boy is a sin."

"Then what are you doing?"

"Mailing a package."

32

She said she didn't believe in God so I started cutting her up before she was dead. I wanted to give her a preview of Hell. Since her death was keeping me from God's place I felt the need to do God's work. The others were for me, though Sandy could've gone either way. She was for Him.

33

To whom it may concern:

This one had it coming.

Love,
The Virgin

34

I know what Mary did with that boy. My mother said Abortion is the greatest sin, Homosexuality is the second greatest, and fornication is the third. Since we don't have any Abortion Mills in Jasper County and all the Homosexuals get shot that means Mary's the worst person in all of Jasper County. I'm ashamed to be her sister.

35

Candy's mother killed herself. In Church they said people who kill themselves go to Hell. I guess that means Candy will have company. Everyone feels bad for her father. I don't.

36

"Cecily Dean, 53, of Jasper County, who was the mother of the latest victem in the Virgin Murders case was found dead last Tuesday. Police refused to comment."

37

She wasn't really a virgin. You know, 'The Virgin Queen'? I saw this thing on TV last week and these two guys were talking about it. Apparently she had seven kids with four different guys. My history teacher says it's a load of crap. He doesn't think those guys did research. I don't really care either way. Mary's the one who idolizes her. Mary's weird like that. She wants to be someone important one day, so she studies all day long. Her grades suck, but that's just because she doesn't believe in school. She wants to be immortal like Elizabeth. I told her that Elizabeth's dead. She said that everyone will remember her so that doesn't matter.

38

Mom's talking about moving. I keep telling her we can't. If we move and some girl dies from the next town we live in the cops might make a connection.

39

I had a dream about them. All four of them. About how they looked dead and alive. Sally had fake blonde hair and olive skin. She was wearing a pink sundress with white leggings underneath and those slippers the girls like to wear. She also had expensive earrings on. I would've nicked them if I didn't think it'd have been suspicious. Sandy looked like her name. Her hair was like the sand, a mix of blonde and brown. She had eyes like the ocean and a natural tan too. She looked like she lived on a beach even though we don't have one in Jasper County. I don't remember what she was wearing, only that when I was done it was so covered in blood it looked like it had always been red. Jessica was a red-head. With green eyes. She had jeans on. The same pair every girl at school has. Even me. Candy was so covered in blood I couldn't make anything out. If I remember correctly she was a brunette. But I don't have a good memory.

40

"Blanche, hey!"

"Hey Claire, what's up?"

"Nothing, just in the Neighborhood. Thought you could use company since you can't leave the house."

"You live miles away."

"Well I had stuff to do over here."

"Right."

"What was that package you had to mail on Sunday?"

"What?"

"You heard me."

"It's just a weird question. Out of the blue."

"I need to know the answer."

"A gift... for my grandma."

"I thought your grandma was dead."

"My other Grandma."

"What for?"

"Excuse me?"

"What was the gift for?"

"Her birthday next month."

"I thought your grandma was born on Christmas. You told me last year."

"That's my dead grandma."

"Whatever you say."

41

I have to keep an eye on Claire. She may be on to me. I like her too. It'd be a shame if I had to kill her.

42

I don't know why I started this now. I've wanted to do it for years. Get rid of those who bothered me. I just never had the time before.

43

She doesn't speak English. She's an illegal too. She can't be older than 12 but she doesn't go to school. She's next. They'll ship her family back to wherever they came from when they try to report her missing. We don't need those types in our country.

44

I had to sneak out to do it. I climbed out the window like Mary does to meet boys. I walked all the way to downtown where her family sleeps. I broke in quiet as a mouse and cut her throat before I took her with me. She was heavy for such a tiny girl.

45

To whom it may concern:

She was a bleeder. Good thing I wore my raincoat to do it. It all came right off.

Love,
The Virgin

46

"We have to leave this town right now! That last girl got grabbed out of her window when she was asleep. He killed her right in her bed and took her away. The found blood on her pillow. He cut her throat before she could scream."

"I know, honey. It's scary. But we can't just leave town. Where would we go?"

"We could stay with your cousin. You know, Sherry."

"All the way in Norfolk? No thanks. Besides, I don't like that husband of her's. A real liberal. I'll just get more locks. We can get a gun for the girl's room. We'll be fine."

47

Mary and I have a gun now. Dad took us to the shooting range to teach us to use it. This could be useful. I wouldn't shoot any of them with it. They could track the bullet. But it'd be great to scare them into coming with me.

48

There's a reason I send them the hearts. I read this story in English Class about this guy who killed a dude and kept hearing his heart beat even though he was dead. He ended up going crazy and confessing it. I don't want that to happen to me.

49

"Mary, I need to talk to you."

"What is it?"

"I did something bad."

"What did you do?"

"You know how Mom said we can't watch that Spongebob show?"

"Yeah. She said it would turn us into Homosexuals. Why?"

"Well yesterday when I was home alone I got bored. And there was nothing good on TV. I was flipping through the channels and I saw it. I watched ten whole minutes of it! I feel so guilty! Am I going to hell?"

"You think you're going to Hell for watching a cartoon? God, Mom sure brainwashed you good."

"What do you mean?"

"God has much more important things to do than to condemn you for watching a stupid kid's show."

"But God's everywhere. He sees everything!"

"Yeah, but it'd be impossible and pointless for him to care about everything he sees. He only cares if you do something really bad. Like that "The Virgin" guy."

"But God doesn't care about what "The Virgin" did. He only cares if you kill innocents. And the only true innocents are those in the womb."

"Where did you ger that idea?"

"Pastor said so a while ago. When someone asked why the death penalty's okay and abortion's not."

"And you believed him?"

"Why wouldn't I?"

50

Scarlet and crimson and cherry and a bunch of other names all mean red. When I was a little girl I used to wonder why they had all those names for red. I get it now. Those names aren't for red. They're for blood. Scarlet is a slender line of it, romantic and dainty. Crimson is when it's heavy and thick and dark. Cherry is when it's bright and pale and noticable, like little kid's blood. I've seen all three.

51

Mary and I share a room. Our house has four bedrooms. I never got why we had to share a room until last year. Mom asked me if Mary was doing anything bad. I lied and said she wasn't even though she was. It's so Mom and Dad can use us to spy on each other.

52

"Are you up to something?"

"No, of course not!"

"Then why did you sneak out last night?"

"No reason."

"You're a bad liar. What's his name?"

"It's not a boy."

"Then it's a girl. I always figured."

"No! It's not a person, period."

"Then what are you doing? Drugs?"

"No."

"C'mon, you can tell me!"

"I can't."

"If you tell me I'll help you sneak out next time. I've done it hundreds of times, I know all the tricks of the trade."

"No."

"I'm going to find out eventually."

53

"I'll keep your secret if you don't hurt me!" What a load of crap.

54

To whom it may conern:

She was a nice little girl, but I had to do it.

Love,
The Virgin

55

She was my friend. I'm sad about it. But at least she's in heaven now. She never did anything but know me better than I could allow. It was quick for Claire.

56

"The sixth victim, Clarabelle Mishaine, 12, has now been confirmed as a victim of "The Virgin". Police have found the letter from her killer, as with the previous letters, absent of fingerprints, suggesting her murderer is an experianced killer and the Virgin Murders are not his first crime."

57

I've never said the word ******** out loud. I'm a good girl.

58

I never knew Claire's real name was Clarabelle.

59

I like Britney Spears music. I know I'm too old for it, but I can't help myself. It's my dirty little secret. If anyone found out I'd have to kill them. My sister found my CD once but I can trust her. Her and only her.

60

"It is a boy!"

"What?"

"What you do in secret!"

"No."

"Yes, I saw the blood on your pants!"

"I'm on my period."

"You lie! We've been on the same cycle since you got it."

"I'm irregular."

"Liar! Liar!"

"And why would blood indicate a boy anyway?"

"You know why."

"No, I don't."

"You know. It was your first time, wasn't it?"

"I have no idea what you're talking about."

"You lie!"

61

I may have to confide in Mary. She saw some blood and I don't want her thinking I'm a whore. Better for her to know what I really do. She might now approve, but she'd keep my secret. I kept her secret and what she does is worse than what I do.

62

"Good night, Mary."

"Would you mind if I....?"

"What?"

"Slept in the bed with you?"

"Why?"

"I keep having nitemares about what happened to those girls."

"Don't worry Mary, that's what the gun's for."

"I know, and it's silly for me to be scared, I'm nearly an adult. But I'd feel better with you."

"Okay."

63

"Mary, are you awake?"

"I am now."

"I have a secret."

"Can you tell me in the morning?"

"No, now."

"Fine, but whisper, I don't want to wake Mom."

"I'm The Virgin."

"You're a virgin?"

"No, I'm THE Virgin."

"Stop kidding around."

"I am. I killed all of those girls and I did all those things to them."

"You're not funny."

"I'm not trying to be."

"You wouldn't..."

"What do you think I was doing all those nights? How did you think the blood got there?"

"You're crazy...you wouldn't...you couldn't..."

"I did."

64

I told Mary. She hasn't said a word since last night. It's almost as if she's afraid of me. She knows I'd never hurt her.

Right?

65

"Umm, Pastor Bryant?"

"Yes Mary?"

"I have a question...

"What is it?"

"Well, umm, what if someone told you they did something bad? Really bad? Would God want you to tell on them?"

"It depends on the person and what they did. Would telling on them cause them more trouble than they have caused?"

"I don't think so."

"Then the Lord would want you to make their actions known so they can be punished so they won't sin again."

"But what if the person is someone really close to you?"

"Then I don't know what to tell you."

"Thanks anyway.."

66

I've killed 6. 6 is the number of the devil. I need to kill one more. 7 is good. 6 is bad. I'll have to sneak out again, my parents are keeping me on a tight leash.

67

"Blanche, what are you doing here? It's 3am!"

"I could ask you the same thing."

"I'm out here on a dare. I was sleeping over at Cassie's and she dared me to stand out and wait for 'The Virgin" to strike."

"Seen anyone yet?"

"No one but you."

68

To whom it may concern:

Little girls shouldn't be playing outside after dark

Love,
The Virgin

69

Mary started talking to me again. She thinks I must've been joking about the Virgin Murders thing because I was in our room with her when they took little Beatrice. At least she thought I was in our room.

70

"Police have recieved information on two new victims, Beatrice Kipler, 14, and Lola Haze, 12. The police received the two packages within hours of each other, making these the only two victims killed the same day. Police have found fingerprints on the Lola Haze letter, which could be the break police need to catch the person responsible for these heinous crimes."

71

I have an important letter to write.

72

To whom it may concern:

Lola Haze isn't mine. I'm not stupid and I wouldn't let my fingerprints get on my letters. Besides, Lola Haze is a nice little girl. What would I have against her?

Love,
The Virgin

73

"That latest girl, Lola Haze, her parents should've known something like this would happen to her when they named her that."

"Why?"

"Lolita."

"What?"

"Lolita, from the book. Her name was Dolores Haze. She had four nicknames, Dolly, Lo, Lola, and Lolita. Who'd name their kid after her?"

"Weidos?"

"No stupid people. No one is cool enough to have read Lolita around here, it's banned from the library. I'm guessing stupid people who don't get the reference."

74

"Police now have evidence to suggest the Lola Haze murder was not commited by "The Virgin", but by a copycat killer. They sight the finding of a fingerprint and the style her heart was removed as their reasons."

75

7 little girls. 7 little dead girls with out a heart in their chest. 7 little dead girls who should've been good. 7 little dead girls who should've feared me.

76

"I have to memorize a stupid poem for English."

"That sucks."

"At least I got to pick it. "

"What'd you pick?"

"'When I Was Fair and Young' by Good Queen Lizzie."

"What's it about?"

"Basically when she was young all the perverts would hit on her and she'd make them stop, but now that she's old and not hot anymore they don't do it and she misses it."

"That's educational."

"Hey, at least I picked a real poem. Most kids in my class are just using Evanescence lyrics."

"They can do that?"

"Yeah, our teacher has no idea what poetry even is. She thinks Edgar Allan Poe is a heavy metal singer."

"Seriously?"

"Yeah. Jasper County is full of idiots."

77

I think Mary's right. Jasper County can't be a very smart place if they've been outsmarted by a little girl.

78

"What are you doing?"

"IQ test. Fifth one today."

"Why are you taking so many?"

"I need to get a 150 on one of them."

"Why?"

"Because if I get a 150 the judge will say I'm a genius and I can leave this house and live on my own."

"Why would you want to do that?"

"So I can get away from this messed up town and all our parents' rules. I want to go live with some friends in Williamsburg, but I have to get a Judge to let me leave before I turn 18."

"But you only have one year left."

"I can't stick around that long. If you can get a high score on the test too, they might let you come with me."

"How high have you gotten?"

"148, but I'm sure I'll get 150 on one eventually. Why don't you take one? You get straight A's. I'm sure you'll be able to do it."

79

I took the IQ test after Mary was able to get 150. I got 129. Who would've thought Mary was smarter than me?

80

Mary and Mom and Dad when to the Judge today. Mary lied and said our parents hurt us. She showed them all my bloody clothes and said they beat us.

81

"Mrs. Johnson, have you noticed anything strange with your children?"

"What do you mean strange?"

"Just anything out of ordinary."

"Well Mary has always been bad. She sneaks out at all hours of night. Blanche lies for her, but I know what she does. She lies about how we treat her to get attention. Blanche has always been quiet, keeps to herself."

"Mary brought in some clothing during the trial. Do you know who that belonged to?"

"Mary and Blanche."

"Do you know which one?"

"No, they share clothes. Why does it matter?"

"We can't disclose at the moment. Do you mind if we talk to Blanche?'

"Go ahead."

82

"Can you tell us about your sister?"

"Mary's okay. I mean, we're not best friends or anything."

"Does Mary sneak out a lot? It's important that you don't lie to us."

"Yes, but don't tell our parents!"

"Has Mary ever hurt you?"

"Sometimes. When we were younger we used to roughhouse a lot."

"But has she ever hurt you just to hurt you?"

"When we were little. But don't all brothers and sisters do that?"

"Did Mary know any of the girls who were killed?"

"Yes, most of them were at my birthday party last year."

"Did Mary ever show dislike for your friends?"

"Yes, all the time. She was always making fun of them."

"Was Mary involved in any gang activities?"

"Not really. But I don't know much about her friends."

"Your Mom said we could search your room. Will you show us where it is?"

83

I know where this is going and I don't like it.

84

"I think we got our girl."

"Girl?"

"That's right, it's a 17-year-old girl. We found the victims' blood all over her clothes. The ink in her printer matched the ink on the notes, her sister and mother both say she sneaks out at night, and her name's Mary."

"As in 'The Virgin Mary'?"

"Yeah. She also has a lot of books on Elizabeth I and because of her age may be a virgin."

"Bring her in!"

85

"I didn't do anything."

"Then how did that blood get on your clothes."

"I don't know! I don't even wear that stuff much!"

"Then who does?"

"My sister!"

"She's not the one your mother heard sneaking out."

"She sneaks out as much as I do!"

"What do you do when you sneak out?"

"Go to parties and see my boyfriend."

"Do you have proof of this?"

"Sure, I'll name some people you can ask."

86

"Did you interview the boyfriend?"

"Yes. She wasn't with him on any of the nights girls were taken."

"Still, I'm not sure this girl did it..."

"Why?"

"The killer is someone of extreme intellect. If she did it, why would she give the judge her bloody clothes?"

"She wanted to use it as proof her parents abused her and her sister to get emancipated. Plus she didn't know they'd DNA test."

"Yeah, but 'The Virgin' is extremely careful. No fngerprints, no DNA left behind."

"All we got were letters and hearts. It may have just been luck and a pair of gloves."

"We searched the house. She doesn't have any gloves."

"She probably used a disposable pair she swiped from the school nurse."

"And there's no motive."

"She bullied several of the victims!"

"Joking on her sisters friends does not equal cutting out their hearts."

"She's the only suspect we have. And we know someone in the house did it."

"How? The packages weren't properly adressed. If our office wasn't so ******** close to the post office we'd never have gotten them."

"Remember that ink test? Turns out the father orders the printer ink from a discount store in D.C. No one else in Jasper County has it."

"That's a lucky break."

87

"You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be held against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attourny. If you cannot afford one, one will be appointed to you..."

88

Poor Mary went away to jail. I'd tried to help her get out if only I cared. I love my sister, but I don't want to go to jail. And I certainly don't want worse. All those pro-death penalty rallies are catching up to me.

89

Trial time! I'm not going to testify. I don't want to swear on the bible and lie to God. I love God too much for that.

90

"We the jury find the defendant guilty on the counts of Murder in the first degree."

91

"This was a very difficult decision, to order the death penalty. But I felt that, though the defendant clearly wasn't in her right mind and was underage when the crimes were commited, she is a danger to society."

Mary's going to die. The judge said something and all I know is that she's going to die and I'll be all alone. Now I feel bad. I love my sister, even though she's a whore.

93

"Get me out! Tell them you did it!"

"I can't... They'd kill me!"

"What would Jesus do?"

"He'd die for you."

"So why won't you?"

"I'm not Jesus."

94

"I didn't do it! I swear on my life I didn't do it!"

"You wouldn't win an appeal."

"I can't die! I'm innocent, I swear!"

"I can't take on this case, I'd ruin my reputaion."

"But I'm innocent!"

"That doesn't matter. The truth never matters if no one believes it."

95

Everyone in America is talking. A seventeen year old girl killed 7 classmates. Such a pretty girl little Mary was, so very smart! Why would she do such a thing? Mom blames the Harry Potter book she read behind Mom's back last year. Everyone knows Harry Potter turns kids to Satan and Satan tells them to kill people. My sister the serial killer, it's really quite dreadful, isn't it?

96

It's going to be a while before they actually kill her. Until then she's going to fight it and blame it on me. Mary doesn't want to die. Oh Mary, don't you see? If you die a monster you'll be immortal.

97

I'm a very good sister. The best sister ever. Really, I am. I'm giving Mary immortality. She'll be remembered forever. I don't know why she doesn't want my gift. She's not a very good sister, is she?

98

I saw her today. She's so pale, and thin. So scared. She wants me to confess, to set her free. She swears I'd get off. She says I'm too young to go to jail. I told her I couldn't. She cried.

99

It's been six years. Today I graduated High School. Tomorrow Mary dies.

100

"Do you have any last words?"

"I'm innocent. Long after I'm dead you'll find that out. And all of you will feel so guilty. It'll consume you, ruin you. Because you killed an innocent woman."
