Amisi wadded out of the water and scooted caustiously over to a berry bush that had tempted her from out in the lake. She looked about the small clearing to make sure she wasn't going to get taken out by anyone and then began to eat some berries looking up and around from time to time.

Kiyoshi yawned and stretched, slowly climbing out of his small hallow that he called home. He stretched out his front purple-tipped paws, ruffling his blue and white fur and yawning loudly, purple horn and pink quills glistening as he shook them out and stretched out his back like-wise purple dipped paws. His blue eyes blinked lazily up at the sun and he padded over to a tree, turning and rubbing his side and pink-striped back against it until he reached the stubborn spot on his back.
His morning rituals finished in a bush a little ways away from his hallow, then he wandered towards the lake. It was a bit of a walk, but he enjoyed it. The sunlight filtering through the branches above warmed his fur as he followed the familiar worn path, blue eyes light and happy under a swirled pink mark. He lightly leapt down from the smooth rocks onto the shore, pacing out into the sunshine with a smile on his muzzle. He passed by the berry bushes without looking, not seeing the Kylandrei at all.
Out on the shore, Kiyoshi wagged his tail slightly. The sunshine over the water always made him happier.

Amisi's ears perked when she heard someone approaching. She sniffed at the air and looked around. She still had some directional issues on land unlike in water. She quickly decided to stuff some berries into her mouth and had slid down the sandy bank into the water with a SPLASH!
She swallowed the berries and then resurfaced peering back towards shore at the intruder.

Kiyoshi smiled and gave a slight laugh, wagging his tail and bounding towards the water, splashing through the surface and throwing his head back, sending water high into the air and sparkling in the sunlight. "Ahhh, so nice!" He said, ducking his head down and taking a mouthful of water, swallowing it and sighing. Then he jumped into deeper water for his bath, before rising and swimming back to the shore, shaking his fur out, looking rather silly now as his fur dripped and stuck out at odd angles.

Amisi watched the land kylan splash about in the water. He was quite colorful in the morning sunshine. She lurked in a reedy place to watch him. She dipped down causing the water to ripple out and she moved to another place to observe the land kylan.

Kiyoshi padded over to a smooth rock, blinking and glancing out at the water as he heard a slight splash, assuming it was just a fish and wondering if he should go fishing later. He hopped up onto the rocks and laid down, curling his tail down around his hind end, shaking himself and settling down to dry out in the sunlight before he would go find something to eat later. Perhaps a nap...

The surface rippled again and there was a pair of eyes watching him from the water a ways out. Long graceful horns rose out of the water above the eyes and glinted in the sun. Drops of water fell down around the head of the kylan that lurked there creating mini ripples.

It was the sparkleing that caught Kiyoshi's eyes. He turned his head towards the spy and blinked, unsure if something was there, until he saw the horns and eyes. He smiled and stood. Another Kylandrei? Oh, he hadn't had a guest in a while! "Hellooo down there!" He called, hoping that they were friendly and not really shy.

Amisi's ears flicked slightly at being addressed by the intruder. She watched him for a moment before vanishing below the surface again and appearing closer to his perch. But she was still out of reach. "Hello....." she bubbled at him.

Kiyoshi smiled and lowered himself to his stomach, his tail flipping behind him as he looked down at the Kylan in the water, "My name is Kiyoshi, what's yours? How long have you been here?" He asked, trying to remind himself not to act like a pup...
