Tetra sighed as she walked through a small forest in the hours of dusk, thinking about what she had been doing these last few weeks. It seemed like everywhere she turned, there was a happy couple with baskets or little ones on the way, with had the mare jelous of others luck. Finding someother that they could pend the rest of their breathing days with, it was poetic and beautiful. Such luck was not bestoded apon the Halloween mare. Every stallion she seemed to meet was either taken or gay. The only stallion she had taken a small fancey to was whispered to be trying to have foals with another mare, something he left out when they spoke. The mare stopped and shook her head, erasing those thoughs from her head. Maybe this was something telling her she just wasn't ready for such a step in the world...Maybe it was just better to meet some other nice horses...Make friend. She had a lot of time to worry about mates and that stuff. She was young and pretty...As some stallions had told her. She really didn't believe that.
A few gentle white spots passed the mares face, making her frown. Snow. She was black in a soon to be a white land. She'll stick out like a swore thumb. She wished her coat would just turn white, so as she would dissapper all year long. She just wanted to be invisible to everyone as that was how she felt...The company of another...A friend...She urned for this. She didn't want to be invisible anymore.

Deja laughed as his hooves skimed the tree tops, the winter wind boring down on his wings as he flew on. The cold chill was enough to suck the breath out of his lungs and fill them once more with ice. The white stallion bit his tongue against the cold, the thrill of flying was worth this burden at least for now. He tucked his wings and looped around before dive bombing strait towards the cound towards a clear meadow.
His hooves touched ground as the snow began to fall. He smiled at the sky as he looked upwards into gray clouds and the tiny cold white orbs that now began to fall. He had beaten the snow to the ground and had beaten the storm, and nothing could be more exciting. He chuckled to himself and walked over to the stream to take a deep drink, that was sorely needed.

Tetra, who was on the other side of the stream at this point, heard the sound of another within the silent forest. It pluzzed her. How could one just apear out of no where? Curious...Only her steps could before...A ghost? She slowly walked up to where the steps were heard, moving softly as so she wouldn't be heard by whatever was there.
Her crimson eyes spotted a white winged stallion, with black on his nose and with blue stockings. His wings were tipped with purple and a little bit of blue. his hair, in the style of hers, was blue and purple. Tetra was one to take in ones details when she saw others. The red markings apon her back were glowing in the darkness. The stream wasn't that large, so the mare walked to it's edge and bent down her head, so she could be eye to eye with him. She wasn't too sure if he had heard yet or not but there was a chance he hadn't. Moving like a shadow was her specialty, after all. "Hello." She spoke finally, to make her presence known to him. Her voice was quiet, but autible.

Deja hadnt heard ahing of the approching mare that he had contributed to someone else in the forest other than maybe a rabbit or a bird. When he voice broke the silence so near to him and he felt the warmth of her breath wash past him as steam in the chilly air, he back petaled. "Ack!" he exclaimed dispite himself, jumping back and away from the stream as his eyes feel upon the coal black mare with highlights of red.
He blinked at her and finally after a moment gave a very foolish smile. "hi." he said at length. "Uh...didnt see you there."

Invisible like always. Tetra smiled as the stallion freaked a little at her persence. She often scared others. "I get that a lot." She answered back to him, raising her head. The glowing red marks on her back became dull, glowless. "It's a little chilly to be fly, isn't it?" She asked him, guessing about the flying bit. It would explain why his movements just came out of nowhere. She looked down to the stream, testing it with the tip of her hoove. The only thing keeping the water from freezing over was the fact it was moving.
Her thoughts moved from the stream back to the stallion infront of her. He seemed...A little nervous? She hadn't met any stallion that was nervous like she was, before. "My name is Tetra. Nice to meet you."

Deja blinked a little bit and finally offered a shy and a bit sheepish smile, which for him was a great feat. He never really did well in social situations, even when it was just one on one. Thankfully since he had branched out on his own the few encounters he did have had helped stengthen his resolve and where slowly teaching him some of the finer social graces.
His tail flicked softyly against the frozen ground, the snow was begining to fall more heavily now, peppering his black muzzle with spots of white. "My name is Deja. Its... nice to meet you. Its a bit cold, but its worth it."
