So, we already have threads for the discussion of all the sweet little moments, but what about the less than pleasant parts of their relationship? Like the inevitable fights? What do you think they'll be like?

I imagine that, in the very beginning, when they're still very untrusting of each other, they'll make some low-blows with the name calling and arguements. Dx For example, I can picture Katara saying something like "At least my parents didn't abandon me/try to kill me!".
Of course, she'd feel really guilty and apologize afterwards.

Wow, I'd imagine she'd have to be pretty pissed to say something that extreme...Though if she did, yeah, Zuko would probably get very mad, and she'd probably regret saying it almost as soon as it came out of her mouth... Makes me wonder what led her into saying it in the first place!

I can see Katara being very untrusting of Zuko at first(duh) I even easily see a very wet Zuzu. He did betray her trust in Ba Sing Se, after all, so she'll probably try to water bend him when she first sees him. (Possible spoiler for DoBS)**I'm actually working on a scenario where Katara is the first one Zuko meets when he catches up with the gang(she's off on her own, gathering food for dinner or whatnot) And that's pretty much the response I have for her towards him.**
I can't picture Zuko trying to make low-blows at her, he's certainly not in any position to, if he's wanting to side with them. Nor do I really see him as the type. The way I see it, he's going to be asking for her forgiveness, not try to make matters and relations between them worse...
But as far as little bickering goes, and later on in the rest of the season, yeah, They're definitely the type of couple to get into those. They're both very opinionated, very passionate people and neither will give up until their point is made. But because of that, they will likely get their problems solved with each other better and faster.
DoBS Spoiler? ** And now that they share a huge goal and idea of what they want in the world and out of life (which would be peace between the nations) I think they'll be finding a lot more common ground that they can stand on. There may not be the "both lost their mother" similarity anymore, but now we've got a lot more in that aspect's place! **

Ooh, that'd be interesting! I'd definatel like to see something like that happen. It'd build even more tension between them, and also give a chance for Zuko to try and apologize to her (hopefully without interruption).
Hmmm.. True. Though, he does have a tendency to do things with out thinking, which may or may not effect what he says sometimes.

Yeah, I'm really glad they have more in common now. Though, if you think about, they already have quite a bit in common in terms of personality and what not.

I'm quite sure that at the beginning, shortly after Zuko was accepted to the group, things will be VERY ugly. Especially from Katara's part, she will be very unbearable in my opinion, and be the one to stoop low first-
until she either gets told off be the others, or Zuko says something, that shows how he really feels about her constant stabbing at him, and then eventually, things will ease up.
But their fights later on will be "normal".
Heated arguements, no insults, maybe some battles, but all in all nothing too serious.

Hmm...I see Zuko getting hit with many, many, many, many, many water whips xD plus a tad touch of boomerangs flying all over the place. @.@ Though Katara is a forgiving person, she doesn't let people off their "sins" so easily XD. Maybe a "few" *coughmanycough* arguements and soon they'll warm up t each other XD hopefully with the help of Iroh and Toph.
Knowing Sokka and Aang....they'll want NOTHING to do with them getting together...heck I think they'll want them to seperate XD

They probley will have alot of disagreements and fights, though I'm sure it would work out in the end. It would be interesting watching them bicker, and seeing who would come out victorious. XD They'd make it turn into a real battle.

I think it would be amusing to see them get angry at each other over simple little things. Or for them to argue the way Toph and Katara did in 'The Chase'. xD That would be interesting.

They're both so headstrong and feel their in the right, so it makes for some interesting situations. =D Toph is a great peacemaker. xD Yeah, and then an episode later they'll fight again. xD
