I never purchase things with real money, (curse you, cash shop!!!) but I think that they are a tad "over-hyped," if you will coin the term.
There have been so many interesting updates, it could go either way.
One could say that Gaia is very productive, at the moment, and that they will be great, or they could say that all of these other things are distractions.
My guess is that people will be satisfied with many of the themed objects released already, so there will be less demand. Again, though, A)I know nothing B)I haven't heard much of the chatter of anticipation, yet, and C) because I do not buy such things, it has less of an effect over me.
