heart Breeding Ponies heart
The Breeding Formula-What will your ponies breed?% of chance that a pony will pass its genes on (PER PARENT):
50% Earth
40% Unicorn
40% Pegasus
20% Cosplay
20% Dragon
30% Fairy
40% Mummy
40% Demon
40% Vampire
10% Seryph - only breeds TWO babies if Seryph+Seryph!
30% Breezie (only 2 stages)
30% Flutter
30% Pixie
30% Demonex
15% Merpony
30% Sea Pony // Sea Pony x Earth = 5% Merpony
15% Kirin (( If parents are BOTH Exalted Kirins, any Kirin babies will also be Exalted - However, they are only Exalted in adult stages and must be sent to Seph to have the wings added. There is one more thing concerning Exalteds, but it is for Staff only to know. Please see this post for more, thanks! ))
30% Other (Includes all non-official pony types)
All ponies are Earth based so there is always a chance of breeding an Earth baby.
So, when breeding ponies, you pick a random number from 1-100. Ex1. Dragon+Unicorn: If number picked is 1-20 baby is dragon If number picked is 21-61 baby is a unicorn If number picked is 62-100 baby is Earth Ex2. Earth+Earth If number picked is 1-50 baby is earth If number picked is 51-100 baby is earth
Ex3. Cosplay+Cosplay If number picked is 1-20 baby is Cosplay If number picked is 21-40 baby is Cosplay If number picked is 41-100 baby is Earth

Breeding Ponies who have parents and grandparents.
If one or more of a pony's parents or grandparents are non-earth the % chance of getting a different type of pony is increased by 2% per direct ascendant. (parent or grandparent)
For example, for Unicorn+Earth where the Unicorn has a mother and grandfather and grandmother that are all unicorn, you should increase the chance of getting a unicorn by 2%.
That makes 50% Earth and 46% Unicorn
So, when rolling 1-100
1-50=Earth
51-97=Unicorn
98-100=Earth
If this creates a number greater than 100, start taking away from the probability of getting Earth.
In cases where an Earth parent has a geneology of unicorn or other, add 2% per parent/grandparent/etc to the Earth section.
Ex.
Earth1+Earth2 where Earth1 has one unicorn parent and Earth2 has 2 unicorn grandparents and two unicorn parents.
That is 4x(2%)=8% unicorn chance
1-50=Earth
51-92=Earth
93-100=Unicorn.
If the parents have a geneology of multiple types of ponies, just add on the &#xty;pe per parent and take it out of the Earth section.
