It's my birthday!
I'm now officially 20. I feel like I'm growing up sad (well, like I should be.)

Happy birthday dude. Just one more year till legal drinking age or till you're allowed to buy a pistol or a rifle.

Happy belated birthday! smile
I just hit double your age last month. Take my advice -- don't grow up until you absolutely have to! I'm still resisting! wink

ToyD011 It's my birthday! I'm now officially 20. I feel like I'm growing up sad (well, like I should be.) if you lived where i live you would now be allowed to buy alcohol in stores smile

btw i've always wondered, why does america allow people to drive cars from 16 years old but only allow them to drink from age 21.. that's like a bit ******** up.
where i live you are allowed to drink alcohol when you turn 18 in bars/restaurants, and you are allowed to drive cars from age 18. you are allowed to buy alcohol in stores from age 20. 18 is also the age of voting and when you are seen upon as an adult.
why is there such a differentiation in USA?
i mean, you're allowed at age 16 to potentially kill someone with a large car.. but not intoxicate yourself until you're 21 razz

One year of non-legal drinking probably makes that much more of a difference in a country as big as ours.
Driving a car before 18 is not without it's downside of course, insurance is a lot more expensive before you hit 18. Luckily honor roll (3.00 on grades) gives you a discount on insurance.
In my state you can get your learners permit at 15 and 3/4 which would be next month for me but I am no longer capable of getting honor roll so unless I can get it before I'm 18, I'm ********. You don't have to get honor roll, my parents just have that rule because they think it shows responsibility, which is incredibly unfair because all my friends are getting theirs regardless of grades.
