(Prp you know the drill) The sun was high in the sky over head, and the sky was blue and with out a cloud insight. Yet that could hardly be seen through the thick canopy of trees and the dappled rays of sunlight that pierced the darkness of the shadowed forest. Kitara ran with wild abandon through the undergrowth. Barely managing to clear a fallen log that seemingly sprang up before her in the darkness.
The mare was feeling older these days, her childhood seemed so long ago.. her time with Remy and his warmth.. and their children growing up so fast. So very very long ago. Even more recently, she had watched her sister's colts grow into adults. How time flew!
Her mind raced as she drove herself father into the forest and towards the one place in the gloomy underbrush that seemed to have any light. She exploded into the medow with a whinney of glee, her front hooves pawing at the air as she danced on her hind legs. Forever a show girl even when no one was looking.

Wincing in the distance was a certain winged steed- studying and locating things carefully. From the ways the wind blue there was nothing but a warm comfort swiftly breezing about. The branches held strongly if not thick upon the tree he stood. His tail flicked right and left as he would take a dash from the branch, lifting his wings and off into the open. Raising to of course- peer even higher up.
There it was- a dark mare that was not even horned, or winged. This was certainly something new, he thought to himself. The noise of his wings weren't too loud as he was way to high. It only became a sound when he had leaned his head down to dive in towards a dangerous landing. Though only a good 24 feet off the ground, before the wings rose in a halo shape to lighten the fall. And there he was, sneaking behind her, very closely.
Watery blue eyes watched, but didn't fall anywhere but forward. "Do you think it is safe to roam so closely amidst with that noise you made?"
It was a cruel way of asking, but it had to be asked, he felt. If she risked herself so often, he'd feel bad having just seen her dash out into the open.

Kitara had thought the beats of wing upon the wind had been that of a bird. It wasnt until hooves touched ground and the voice came from behind her that she realised she had company. She spun to face him, ears back for a moment though she didnt detect any malice in his voice. She tilted her head softly to the right and blinked her golden eyes at him. Strange one he was, both in appearance and manners.
She flashed him a cocky smile and laughed. "Why should I fear the wide open spaces in place of the dark underbrush or bows of the trees? Anything that can get me in the open can surely get me there as well. I'll chance myself where I like stranger, and be what messes with me shant forget it soon. " She smirked a little and tossed her short mane, white hair bobbing in the breeze. "So, what brings you to spy in mares from the air?"
