Anise trotted through the wilds of Zatao, keeping an eye out for useful medicinal plants or hurt pokemon, as she had been doing almost constantly since she had arrived at the land. Her Delcatty, Felix, wandered freely around, sometimes searching with her and usually staying near her, but occasionally drifting farther away.
They had been traveling for quite some time with little to make them pause, and Anise was looking for a good place to rest. As they crested a small hill she spotted a reasonably-sized stream ahead of them surrounded by a grove of willow trees. Anise grinned with delight.
"This is perfect!" she said to the Delcatty by her side. "Not only will we have a nice, shady place to rest, but I've been needing more willow bark."
Felix looked up at her and trotted ahead of her to the grove.
"Hey, wait up!" she called with a laugh, and jogged to catch up with him.

"fjasdfsjfskdjgl! ALBIREOOOOOOOO! SLOW DOWN!" Luna shouted as her dewgong raced down the stream with his trainer on his back. She squinted her eyes, trying to keep the water from spilling in her eyes. Her clothes were already soaked from her pokemon repeatedly going under water. This was NOT what she expected when she said "let's practice surfing!"
Luna prayed some person would find her. Some person with food. Food always slowed down Albireo. Unfortunately, her bribing supply had ran out.
Albireo barked joyously as he streamed through the water. It was so clear! And flowing! It just made him want to go faster and faster. His trainer's yells went deaf on him -- they never made any sense to him anyways.

Anise trotted into the grove with Felix, looking around at the area. It was a very cozy spot, with the drooping branches seeming to form a curtain on all sides. She kneeled by the stream and was about to take a drink when Felix perked his ears and looked upstream. Anise paused, momentarily wondering why before her less-sharp hearing caught the sound or rushing water, frantic human yelling, and seal-like barking. She peered down the stream and saw a white pokemon with a human clinging to its back rushing toward them at a swift pace.
Quickly Anise pulled a generous sprig of pokenip from one of her many pockets and lightly cruched it in her palm, which released the plant's scent into the air. Most pokemon would stop for that scent, or at leats slow to investigate. Luckily she was downwind of the pokemon, so the scent would carry towards it. She only hoped the pokemon was not moving too quickly to catch the scent.
"Felix, if the pokemon doesn't stop, use Fake Out to try to make it pause," she instructed her pokemon. Felix obediently trotted farther downstream, ready to attempt to intercept the pokemon if it passed his trainer.

Albireo's noise twitched as the enticing aroma of pokenip passed it. "F0ooooooooDZ!" He barked in his own half-pokemon language as he slammed his tail into the water to halt his speed. Then, with an impressive display of aerodynamics, he flipped out of the water and onto the ground. Thankfully, Albireo had learned to land on his stomache instead of squishing his trainer who now layed traumatized on his back.
But the ride wasn't over yet. Albireo immediately bounced towards Anise happily, as if nothing had happened. Luna, now already off her pokemon, followed to thank her rescuer. "Haha...thanks! Albireo goes too fast in the water sometimes." She said to the other girl.

"No problem," Anise replied to the trainer as her Dewgong rushed up to her, his eyes on the pokenip in her hand. She quickly handed it to him and, noting that he appeared to be drooling, dug a bit of dried fish out of one of her pockets as well.
With the water pokemon taken care of, Anise looked up to see how her own pokemon was and spotted Felix trotting back to her. Neither he nor his human companion were much for battling, and he seemed happy not to have had to attack another pokemon. Anise scracted the cat pokemon behind his ears as he returned to her side, causing the Delcatty to purr contentedly.
And finally Anise looked up at the trainer she'd saved from a rather wild ride. Now that the healer had gotten a better look at the other girl, she seemed familiar. Anise's face turbed thoughtful for a moment before brightening in realization. "Hey, you were on that expedition to Inhix too, weren't you? Uh, you're Luna, right?"

Luna perked up at the mention of her name. "Yup~I'm Luna, future elite-four member and champion!" She winked at the other trainer, amused at her own traditional introduction. "I'm sorry, my memory for names isn't as good as yours, what's your name?" Luna asked as she took off her wet jacket and attempted to wring it dry.
Albireo happily chewed on the pokenip. He was even more delighted when the trainer handed him fish. Fish! Yay! Albireo barked out a thanks before starting to chew on the food. Fooooooooood. Fooooooooooooooooooooood.
((Food is like...the only thing on Albireo's mind 8D ))

"That's OK, I'm not always good at remembering names, either. I'm Anise," replied the healer. She patted Luna'd Dewgong on his head as he happily munched on the treats she gave him. "And my pal here is Felix," she continued, motioning towards her Delcatty. "The Katrina police were nice enough to give him to me after the expedition."
Anise suddenly remembered one of the reasons why she'd come to the willow grove in the first place. "Oh! I'd almost forgotten, I was going to get some willow bark. It's a good painkiller, it has the same chemical in it that's the active ingredient in asprin. Would you like some, too?" she asked, as she walked towards the nearest willow tree.

Luna squatted down and gave Felix a grin and petted his head. "What a pretty Delicatty~" She cooed quietly during Anise's slight pause. Luna vaguely wondered if the police were the ones who somehow snuck ChuChu into her room, but tossed that train of thought out the window when she heard Anise's offer.
"Sure!" She answered. She gave Felix another small pat and a scratch behind the ear before following Anise. "Soooo~Are you a healer?" She asked curiously. Luna had met other trainers, breeders, coordinators, watchers, and police members, but she had never met a healer before. Well, except for her brief encounters in Inhinx, but that didn't really count. "What do you do? I bet it's a lot different than just battling!" She added with a small laugh.

Anise nodded to acknowledge that Luna had agreed to hvae some willow bark, and pulled a small, sharp folding knife. She began cutting and peeling strips of bark of the trees, being careful not to take too much from any one tree, as she answered Luna's questions.
"Yup, I'm a healer. I battle very rarely, actually. I bet even a youngest, most inexperienced trainer could beat me in a battle." Anise laughed at herself at that comment. "I mostly travel around and tend to any pokemon in need, whether they be trained or wild. Some of the wilder ones can get violent when approached by a human, though, especially when they're hurt or panicked. But Felix and I are working on some defensive battling techniques so we can try to subdue such pokemon without hurting them any more." She paused to stroke Felix's head, since he had walked over to stand beside her. As she returned to harvesting bark, she asked, "So, what have you been doing in Zatao?"

"That sounds interesting. The wild pokemon here are a bit rough, aren't they? And...in here, I haven't been doing much except training, exploring, and battling basically..."
All of a sudden, a pokeball from Luna's belt burst open, letting out a growling black ninetales.
"Hmm..." Luna looked at the direction of Nine's growling. Some bushes were twitching. There was most definately some danger. "Hey Anise...I think there's a hostile pokemon here, be on the lookout! Nine, let's use disable!"
"Nine!"
The red eyes of the black ninetales flared up, lifting the struggling mystery pokemon up into the air.
((You can decide what it is :3 ))
