I need an opinion...
Yes, I know they are like a** wholes, everyone has one...I started a shop in the breedables area... Click Here. I had a handful of people interested, so I did a flat sale. Only one person participated... So, I thought ok, lets try a raffle... No one participated. So, I trashed that idea, and have been trying my hand at an auction. The auction has been running since yesterday... Not one person has bid in the auction. What am I doing wrong? Is the price to high? Not enough examples? Please let me know... Heck, let me know what you think of the entire concept!

I read over your post there, it seems like a nice idea. I don't know much about those pets, actually nothing at all. Lots have them that don't look like babies they look like animals, maybe you need to do that or give more examples of what they are going to look like. I have not a clue from what you wrote what they look like except one baby in a cradle.

I have not a clue from what you wrote what they look like except one baby in a cradle. well we are in the process of doing more examples. but it is really hard to do a set example when they are all custom to an avatar. but you may have a point. i just may need more pictures to go along with that chunk of text! thank you for your opinion uma!! heart

-You should have an example of at least one more level.
-The fact that their avaling might be lost could be a turn off to people.
-Sounds like allot of work to me, that might turn people off.
-I don't know what the price is... I didn't look that hard but if it's there it's not easy to find.
-Sounds like allot of work for you.
-Seems kinda girlie, might turn guys off.
To sum it up, I don't have a good idea of what these things look like, I have no idea what they cost and they seem overwhelming. Top that off with the fact that it is possible to lose your avaling... I wouldn't scrap it though it's a really neat idea just make it seem like less work and it should sell fine.

I see two problems, the first is supply and the second is demand.
Firstly there are just way to many shops like this one out there. Even if you practically gave away your art there still would be no guarantee that people would care enough to buy it.
Secondly your art isn't very high in demand. From what I can tell people either want übercute crap, something that borders on sexual or something that looks evil.
Your art is nice but it is none of these so here on Gaia only a very small clientele would be interested in purchasing anything.

your post problem? he is too confusing. make like an index so people know where they are and what can they find there. the texts are very long too so try putting the examples in one of the first pages to catch their atention. i also didn't find the price. i suggest you to putt the examples and their price in one single post without many text, people see them better that way. put the price in several places, i have a pet shop as well and i am always being pmed about the price XP
personaly i think you should make more posts because you have too much text in one single post and that makes your post un-atractive. try adding more images as well. if you need any ideas click in my sig (not the feedable angel, the other one =P)
do not see this as a flaming, see it as a help because it was with that intention i wrote it 3nodding
