Oh, my beautiful moon! Tonight, it's just you and I in this endless embrace.
Ah, the poetics. However soothing, they were still untrue.
High atop Halloween Town's church bell tower, Aurora perched, wings spread wide for balance. Her round horns and snake-like tail further embellished this seemingly sinister silhouette. Deep breaths, Aurora. Remember what Ryu said. You can't fly until you can glide! Further her wings stretched, extending wider then measurement of her height. Slowly, this eerie figure stood tall from the tower...
She took a step.. And another... One after the other, running the ridge of the roof. Right at the peak, the highest point, she jumped high into the air....
And fell like a rock.
Crumpled on a pile of leaves, Aurora winced and let out a groan of disappointment.

Krishna was walking along, not seeming to be bothered by the place she was visiting. In fact she rather liked it, a lot of shadows to walk through and fun things to see. She would have to make a note to herself to bring Vishal here sometime, he was busy with minion training though. She gave a little pout, no of course she wasn't jealous! After all she was Vishal's sibling which was more important then a minion, right?
She hadn't a clue really.
Before she could think more on it there was suddenly something falling off to the side, she blinked then turned first her head and then the rest of her, "Ahh... hey. You alright?" She asked, moving over towards the pile of leaves and the one lucky enough to hit it instead of the more solid ground.

Slowly, one hand wedged itself between her chest and the ground just beyond the leaves. The other fallowed suit and soon, both pushed against the ground, raising the demonic form from her place amongst the dead and decayed plantforms. Quiet, she turned to face her new audience, fearful and wary of any and all newcomers and interaction. "I'm just fine, thank you," she replied, meek and frightened. But then, a twinkle of recognition. In the dim moonlight, she could faintly see the glimmer of color, the sharp features and heavy paws. Quickly, she stood, straightening her posture and correcting her balance. "...... Krishna...?"

Krishna's tail flicked back and forth, wait this person knew her name? Who was she... Oh! Her mind seemed to wrap around it and then a smile spread across her lips, "Yeah, but I go by Kris now." She said, looking Aurora over, "Did you get taller? And prettier?" She asked of the other girl.

"Krys..." That shouldn't be to hard to remember. "You've changed, too, haven't you?" she smiled, folding her hands neatly in front of her, allowing her knobed tail to swish back and forth through the pile behind her. "I haven't seen you since class," she smiled, remembering. They... Never had a chance to speak before, did they?

Kris gave a nod of her head, "I have been working out with my brother, trying to get strong you know? Don't want him to get ahead of me." And being that her brother was older then her and had more scary limbs then she did it meant a lot of effort on her part to keep up.
"Yeah, its been a while since we have crossed paths." The Shadow Goddess agreed, the classes they took seeming forever ago, "How have you been?"

The idea of Krishna and Vishal having a weightlifting contest entered her mind. Resisting a gentile laugh was futile. "No worse then usual, I suppose." Aurora looked high above, at the point from which she jumped. "There've been better days, though." She sighed and shook the thought from her head, returning the attention to her friend. "And you? Still raiding your brother's closet, I see?" she smiled softly, wings catching the breeze as it wafted by. The scent of fresh cinnamon lingered from a bakery off in the distance.

Kris's eyes followed Aurora's and she asked, "Ahh... not to pry but was there a reason you were jumping off the building?" Surely she wasn't trying to hurt herself right? That would be a total waste of pretty.
Kris lowered her hands to smooth out the clothing she wore before giving a grin, "All of my brother's clothing isn't safe from me." He admitted, if they had something she liked and could fit in she was sure to borrow it for an extended period of time.
The Shadow Goddess' rainbow colored tail started to swish as she caught the scents that were moving one the wind and much like a predator she turned her face into the wind and inhaled, "Something smells good." She murmured, tail all but wagging now.

"Let's just say that... Flying is harder then it looks, shall we?" The Demonic Goddess sighed lightly and brushed a rogue leaf from her hair, her nose just now picking up the aroma. "It is nice, isn't it? There's a lot of quaint shops here and there." Aurora was rambling, a bit, unable to keep her train of thought heading forward. She kept thinking back to the weird dreams she's had, especially the ones pertaining to Dega's home life. I wonder if Krys... No, no no! Stop! They're just nonsense dreams. Too much soda before bed, Nothing more.

Kris gave a nod of her head, "I agree, I don't use my wings all that much since I haven't really gotten the hang of the flight thing." Instead she just use the ability she had to hide them away. Easier to have no wings then to have useless wings that could get in the way.
"Want to come with me to hunt down that nice smell?" She invited. It had been a while since she'd seen Aurora and while the smell was nice she wouldn't abandon the girl for it, "I will buy since I am the one inviting."

"Oh, I couldn't burden you like that..." She paused for a moment, thinking quietly. "But... I don't mind tagging along. It has been quite a while." She gave a gentle smile, wings shifting into a more comfortable position. "You've... Learned to hide your wings...?" This idea fascinated her. If at all possible, she now wished to know this secret. One more step to looking just normal sounded ever-so appealing.

Kris gave a shrug, "What else am I gonna spend my allowance on?" She asked before sniffing at the air again, following along the trail. She looked over at Aurora then gave a smile, "Yeah, I kinda found a fun loop hole with the power I have over manipulating shadows. Since My coat is full of shadow I just put it on and my wings vanish into it." She explained. It had been something she had figured out by accident and took advantage of ever since.

"Oh... That's a very handy trick to learn. It must come in useful, when one wishes not to be noticed."
Of course... It had to be something she couldn't do.. Well at least someone else figured out how to control... something. Aurora, of course, still didn't have a clue what her powers were. Either way, she fallowed close behind her friend. She knew a scolding was soon to come for being so subservient, but part of her couldn't help just being this way.

"Yeah, the Shadow World is strange though. No colors at all and everything is backwards. Its kinda like a mirror that sees in black and white." She said as they walked along, "So I blend in a lot better there then I do here." She flicked her tail back and forth, it was like her feet a rainbow of colors that made her stand out in the normal world. It was a bit of a pain as it was hard to pretend to be a guy when you were covered in rainbow.

Krishna seemed so lucky. Being able to blend in, even if in an alternate dimension, was still a state to be longed for. But there was something.. Something else that seemed to hold her attention. Something she'd never payed any mind to before until now.
That tail... Swishing back and forth... So colorful, elegant... Soft...
Slowly, she reached out a hand. But it was only after stroking a patch of color did she realize what she was doing. Quickly, she pulled her hand back, apologizing over and over in her head.
