I went to the Nintendo Center or Nintendo World or whatever they call it. I went upstairs and managed to play Medal of Honor: Heroes 2. Unfortunately, it was confined to the Wii Zapper. Man, was that HORRIBLE! The sad thing was that the game had such great controls, and because of the Wii Zapper, using the controls became cumbersome and confusing. So...

I hate the Wii Zapper.

I'm hearing this more and more now. Shall we say that I've always wanted an actual game as opposed to the zapper? Or, you know, some Wii points now that Shining Force 2 is going to VC.

-crosses fingers hoping it's only M.O.H.-

I've got high hopes for the WiiZappah.

You'd think the controls would be cumbersomb/clunky without it. I always thought the WiiZapper could steady the Wiimote, making shooting more effective.

Something tells me they're mostly for rail shooters, and even then you may be better off with third-party shells. You know, if they contained Legend of Zelda, of course.

The reason I say they were good controls minus Zapper is because they were similar to Red Steel, but the design of the zapper made it hard to get to a lot of buttons I was familiar with, and the way you had to hold it made you confuse hands.

eek

from using it on Link's Crossbow challenge it's fine for me. I'm a great aimer though and good with the pointer.

What's wrong with you people? Why am I the only one who never has a problem with things you guys do?

Truth is, I played the Arcade version of MOH, which is designed as a rail shooter, and it controlled great. This was because I didn't need to use anything but the trigger. Once you have to use the other buttons, using the zapper is horrible.

They should have made a separate controller, and a port for the nun-chuck. Plus the name "Wii Zapper" sounds outdated and childish. It should have been called the Wii Light-Gun, or just the Wii Gun.
