Disclaimer: This is not "txt tlk" just bad grammar.
I was at lunch today in my college cafateria and I saw a little trifold brochure on the table. The title of it was Holiday Shopping Safety tips. I went down a list of many things I have heard over the years like "check your car before entering" and "you keys can make makeshift weapons," but one of the tips was so badly worded, that I had to ponder it for about a minute trying to work it out.
Keep keys in jacket or pant pocket, if your purse is stolen will still be able to get home.
There are so many things wrong with this I'm not going to list them.

Well...they're either not from America, weren't taught well, or were just being lazy. Because to me it seems that they know what they're talking about they just have put fourth no effort.

Well everything else was grammatically sound, so I think it was just a lack of proofreading and knowledge of how to do compound complex sentences.
