December 26th is going to be anything but cozy – instead of sitting with your loved ones in front of the Christmas tree, you should get to your favorite movie theater and watch the new film, "Aliens vs. Predator 2". And no less than Oomph! have contributed the title track, "Wach Auf!". The song will also be officially on sale from January 4th, 08. OOMPH! VS. ALIENS VS. PREDATOR 2 means one cult meets another at a completely new level. This time the beasts meet up in a small town full of people. Predator's space ship crashes in the forests of Colorado, all because of a new type of creature, the PredAlien – a mixture of Alien and Predator. They tear off on a romp through the town until a Predator with special abilities, the Superpredator, shows up to rain on their parade. The ultimate B-movie battle of all time begins…. Damn! You beat me to punch...
So will OOMPH! still be on the American version of the movie? I've never seen AvP, but I have a friend who's crazy in love with it, so I might go with her just to hear the boys... wink

I've never seen AvP, but I have a friend who's crazy in love with it, so I might go with her just to hear the boys... wink as far as I know, yeah biggrin I'm so excited. it's one step closer. Oomph! being on an internationally released CD....almost there! biggrin now more people will know the greatness that is Oomph! biggrin

UPDATE:
well, I heard it from the horses's mouth himself. "Wach Auf" Will only be on the AvP2 soundtracks for the German-speaking audiences. AKA: It will NOT be on the track if you live in America and go to the theatre to see the film.
crying
It sucks, but at least I got an answer before the movie came out, so we wouldn't have wasted our money on it....

Wach' Auf sounds pretty good...Will this sound carry over to their new album, ya think? I like it, it's like they've refined the harder sound they had when OOMPH! was younger...

Is Wach Auf actually going to be on their new album or just sold as a single?

As far as I know it's going to be on the new album, but i'm not sure. Normally a single comes out before the album to start hyping the album, and the album's set for february release.....
