Miho stretched and yawned again trying to get the last bit of sleep out of her system as she felt a couple of tiny paws prod her in the back.
"Momma wake," came a chorus of little voices as they prodded Miho in the side and then maneuvered to the other side of her and this time mewing "Daddy, you need to get up too."
Miho just continued to lay there. "Maybe they'll just bother Aiden for a bit, and leave me out of this."

Parra growled; the nudging wasn't working! When she said 'Get up', she meant it, and she wasn't about to let her mother of all people disobey her orders. It was about time to lay down the law.
"Moooooooom, it's time to get up!" She whined, giving her elder a sharp nibble on the ear. Maybe she'd listen better if her ears were swollen.

aiden snored loudly as he turned towards the kits. "heh huh wha??" he mumbles as he blinks awake. "yes, yes, pester your mother, " he says before closing his eyes and trying to go back to sleep
Cyril quietly sat behind her sisters, pawing the ground.

Miho swatted at which ever little monster it was nibbling on her ear, "Mommy wants five more minutes," Miho whined like one of her kits.
"Mooooommm your no far," cried Midea as she took a mouthful of Miho's hair and pulled.

"Five minutes! Do you have any idea how long that is?"
Parra continued to nudge her mother, but finally gave up, scowling under her breath with her ears laid flat in agitation. To relieve her of such stress, she decided instead to pester her father, by leaping onto his sleeping body and jumping a few times, just for effect.
"You, too! Get up, get up!"

Rolling over Miho playfully swatted Parra off her father, and whacked Midea on the head before rolling back over and stretching. When she was satisfied with her stretch Miho stood up and looked around and made note of all the little rugrats. Freyja, Lumiya, and Mina were still sleeping, and Cyril didn't look like she was in too much of a hurry in leaving.
"Okay, you three," Miho said glancing around at Midea, Parra, and Saru. "You three are going outside with me, because you are causing the rest of us headaches."
"Yipee. Mommy is up," Midea as her energy kicked into high gear, and she began to hop around the cave toward the entrance.
