In case you haven't noticed...
The cover story for the november issue of "Wired" magazine is "Manga Conquers America".
Inside, they have a 10 page "home made" manga hosted by a cute schoolgirl, describing the history of manga in America. Sailor Moon got a whole page of dibs, for being really the first mainstream shoujo (aimed at girls) manga. It talks about the history of it in MixxZine/Mixx graphic novels, and how the popularity was reflected in the number of cosplayers at conventions.
If you can, pick this up while you can. It's a great keepsake.
