Still young and curious by nature, Cassy tends to find herself in the wrong place at the wrong time. Although she has a decent wisdom score, she still isn’t that very experienced in the way of the world having lived a very sheltered life with her father and half siblings. Her tastes, mannerisms, and worldly knowledge often show this. Despite pressure by her father to stay “home” and simply marry and raise children of her own, Cassy left the quiet village and went to see what the world had to offer.
She is a rather nice person though sometimes her temper can get the better of her. She is actually a rather shy person who tries to hide it by forcing herself not to be. So unless you get to know her, you’ll see what she wants you to see.
She adventures in basic but good quality clothing given to her by her family before she left: sturdy boots, pants (not breeches that stop at the knee); shirt with a soft leather overtunic; cloak with hood and a nice simple skirt. (One never knows when a woman will need one.) Her black hair is fairly long but braided down the back to be out of the way.
Back story: Her human mother died at her birth and she has been raised by her elven father in his village and her elven stepmother. Her name is her mother’s middle name. She has two other half-siblings. She gets along with them all and has been raised to be the “devoted daughter”. She listened to the lessons and learned to play the family harp. On her own, she conned the local bard to teach her the mandolin, her mother’s instrument as well. Despite this, it really isn’t in her nature to just sit by and watch life pass by. This led to several mishaps that she was involved in and they labeled her as a sort of wild child by the village. This was of course blamed on her human heritage and more specifically her mother’s profession. The day her father started to bring around “suitable” suitors for her meet, she made a decision to leave. Despite her father’s warning that the world is too cruel for her and that she’d be happier in the village, she left.
Thus far, she just wanders seeing where the road will take her next.

Causing the death of a friend or family because of her knack of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. She doesn’t handle other’s deaths very well.

When even her father believed she needed to “calm down” and become a respectable lady, especially after hearing the tales he use to tell her of her own mother.

Her mother’s mandolin and her freedom. She likes being on her own and her mother’s mandolin is just a reminder of why she left in the first place.

She is by nature curious. This at times make her both evil and good depending on what this curiosity has led her to do.

Her mother was a bard and she inherited her mother’s musical abilities. Her father is a wizard so she has a small knack at spellcasting as well.

To escape the life her father had planned for her.
