  The sun had set, and with that the silver haired stallion Lloyd had stood under a willow for rest. By studying the water, it was a sheer glimpse that reminded him of the ghost being he called his lover. She was no wraith but the look of her in tears upon the lake shimmied to and forth among his mind. She was so beautiful in her confused way. He only watched her to make sure she learned to become strong with out him explaining. With a shy smile he tilted his glance to the moon. The cold air had made the stars shine so bright.
'Is she looking at the same moon that I am?' Lloyd thought to himself. He knows he was now a father and should have been taking responsibilities, but he wasn't going to until they were old enough. To be taught to fight. To fend for themselves. Like their mother should. Even then... It would be all up to them.
His ears twitched back, and his tail snapped to the side. Something was around. "Who's out there? I know you're not Lovely, or Flossy, so might you be friend or foe, filly." He didn't see the being, or know its gender, but he was curious. Could it be a kalona? A threat? His cat like yellow eyes searched around for the being, with a sober glance.

What was in the shadows was a wondering male soquili, Lyra. Cyan colored eyes, much like his own fathers, looked around the darkness before his ears shifted as a voice was picked up a questioning voice.
Deciding it best to respond verbally before coming out of the shadows he spoke up his voice calm and soothing. "I'm out here and your right I'm not this Lovely or Flossy." He said slowly stepping out from between some trees his tail swishing behind him as the starry male made his pressance known physically.
"And who are you?" He asked aloud looking toward where he had heard the questioning voive.

The male was bold enough to not exactly answer his name. Lloyd bit his tongue though. The youth could possibly not feel that it felt he needed to make a name known. It was a fair card to play Lloyd thought to himself. "I'm no one you know, likely. Protector of Flossy, if anything."
He too really did not give an answer. Though he moved further. "How long ago was it that you might have been a foal, lad?" He said, with a raise of a brow. Lloyd smiled- it was obscure that he was even talking to another male like himself, only not winged like him. Lloyd could just fly off at a given annoyance, but he just stayed there, watching the starry male make his way.
Lloyd was intrigued with the pattern the male was adorned with. Kind of like how Flossy reminded him of the moon. He didn't mention it though. "You come from any herds?"
It was a brief question for a brief introduction.

Lyra of course hadn't been thinking of not giving his name for any specific reason, he simply hadn't done so but he knew the other male to be not giving of his name for a reason, what reason he knew not, and as for how he could tell that was obvious.
"Not all too long ago if you must know." He answered to the first question. He didn't keep track of how long it had been so he couldn't give a precise answer but it really hadn't been so long ago. He could only assume this other male was much older then himself, not that it mattered either way, right?
Taking in the other males form from where he stood he made to move closer to inspect him better, he was curious after all. "A herd...you mean like my parents and siblings...or like the group of others my sister and mother live with?" He questioned with a slight tilting of his head.
"If you mean do I live with others like my mother and sister then no...I'm afraid I don't." No, no other Soquili were at his teepee home, just himself.

Lloyd's eyes widened but his brows furrowed closer. Was this what he was looking for? A certain someone not too attached to anything yet? He needed something- someone not related to help him approve of certain matters. His eyes closed- for the lake near by rippled as a leaf fell. An answer came though with out any hesitation.
"Pardon the lack of my manners, filly, I am Lloyd. A father of two for now. I don't know if I can handle having any more- as my love is quite weak when the last time it had happened. Proud of her, but uncertain of her health."
Lloyd had said this with a sigh. Almost seemed sad, but also annoyed. He wished his love was doing well, but he moved onward, his eyes looking towards the side. The water reflected the stars, and so did Lyra's. "Sorry for.. telling you too much info."
It was a long silence, but Lloyd just smiled- through clinched wings. Lyra wasn't winged, but he could be of good use. "I kind of would like to see if you could watch over Flossy for a small while. If.. you don't mind." The cat like eyes that contrasted his silver body focused Lyra. "It shouldn't be a task, my daughter is also, and even son as I know." The lashes met the brows- for how serious he was though. Flossy was the one he cared most about.
"I hate watching her waste away- can't look, so... I need a bit of security. I don't know you very well... Lyra, but there's something I trust about you."

Bowing his head low he nodded once. "I'm sorry to hear about Flossy, I wish she were in better health." He spoke softly. Even if he did not know Flossy nor this older male very well he still felt some...sadness over this and couldn't help but state such a loud.
Shaking his head then he smiled lightly. "It's not too much, not if you said it. It means you needed to say it for some reason so no need to appologize." he spoke gently. For one who was young he was well mannered and seemed to be thoughtful, maybe.
"You are asking if I can watch your...amte and children or just your mate?" He asked carefully as he moved to stand at the older males side his cyan gaze focused on the water ahead. "If by watching your mate I can help you, and maybe even her, I would be more then willing to assist...anything to help someones pain..." He said softly. He knew not the pain that the other could be in seeing a loved on wasting away but he could imagin it was bad...depressing and sad as could be and even though he had only just met Lloyd he felt the distinct urge to help him if only in some small way as no one should feel and see what he must feel and was seeing.
"I'm honored that you feel you can trust me with such, as you stated we only did just meet."

Lloyd chuckled slightly to the stallion’s acceptance to his favor. He could trust this one, he believed to himself. Though he wasn’t so sure how his daughter would feel, but he couldn’t risk caring at such a time. He offered the Stallion a way to his own place if he had chose to follow.
“I’m sure the kids will love ya.’” He said but with out too much of an expression. He paused to stare at the sparklng stallion.
“I have a son whom I’d like to also meet you, and perhaps we can all get together for a little bit of exploration. Maybe even some other things.” He worried about the other things, but he was perhaps gaining in age that it should not even be a problem. His cat like yellow eyes followed towards the path among the forest that wove deeply. “Maybe tomorrow we’ll go fishing, if you like…”
He thought to himself of what it would be like to bring home a new friend.

He was one that could be trusted if only because he was well tempered and kind and willing to help anyone who was in need of help, provided he was able to help.
"How many children...?" Lyra asked curious and wondering how many children there were, so he knew how many he would be around and...watching?
"Of course, that would be nice, I haven't been around children since I was one myself." And only then had it been his siblings, so being around those younger then himself would be a new experience and hopefully an enjoyable one.
"I've never been fishing." Though he was interested in the idea, and learning how to fish.
"Show the way to your home?" Lyra asked nodding his head once.
