Okay, so most of you have probably already seen the new 'hot cocoa' accessory that came with this month's item update.
I was a little miffed because one of my submissions for the holiday item contest was a cup of hot cocoa. Obviously, it was not picked as one of the finalists but still... that was my idea. razz
Oh well, its not like I'm going to sue anybody or anything. I just wanted to say 'hey.. that was my idea first'. Gosh darn it!

Hmm... say, didn't you think that the "item design contests" are a great way to have new ideas for monthly collectibles ? That's the first thing that crossed my mind.
"They might be running out of ideas. Why not ask the community for help ? They did it, and even managed to keep it discreet! Great job!"
At least, it seemed very obvious to me that they needed new ideas for items, but couldn't think of anything, then they did the obvious, ask for help. ^^

Yeah, well obvious or not it would be nice if they said a general thankyou to the users who are sharing their ideas with all of Gaia. Know what I mean?

I assumed they were part of the "garage sale" section of the item release.
An item that they had planned already, but was set on a back burner because it didn't fit into any set.

Hey, its pretty interesting that your mind was the inspiration for an item on gaia. Even without a thank you, at least a difference is being made. By you, as a matter of fact. Awesome. Plus, a cup of hot cocoa can look alot like a foamy coffee beverage. -shudders with delight-
