I gotta say, following the storyline with Laia was slightly dull for the first half but as it got farther along, I really started to feel for everything that happened. I won't let out an spoils for people just picking up the game or.. not familiar what happens to the Guhral(sp?) system, but lemmie just say the ending has me awaiting an episode III if they decide to do THAT off-line as well, seeing as how it's simply just begun on-line.
As for the extra content they added, I'm satisfied. I'm sure 7 months down the line I'll be yearning for more, but I made Crea Doubles and am more than satisfied with the other items I'm finding. Heck, for those that have scoured youtube, if you ever see something called Rozonem(again, sp?) City, imagine the mobs you see at lvl 120. Apparently, a 30 level difference definitely means A) I can't hit them and B) NPCs die on the spot.
My only complaint about the off-line was a lack of voice-acting (which I dunno if the US got snuffed on or not, the JP trailer may have been misleading), the skills you learned from the NPCs was a grab bag since I received the same skill twice from Laia, and the benefits of the partner cards and/or items you have from last Episode VS starting fresh with AoI.
Input? Thoughts? Anyone else.. play.. offline.. nowadays? sweatdrop
