So I saw HIM at Projekt Revolution this summer and they were...less than satisfactory.

But because they are my favorite band, i decided i NEEDED to go to the HIM show in San Francisco. I went and ohhhhhh mygod was it amazing. Ville screamed a lot =]

And he totally started ad-libbing between a couple of the songs because the tech people had to come out and fix his monitor speaker lol

Not to mention the fact that he was smiling the whole time......which may sound like it's not something to freak out about, but i've noticed something...

Ville's smile isn't "hot." It isn't "pretty." It's the most amazing smile i've ever seen. It's beautiful and gorgeous and pure and utterly uplifting. I'm not a religious person, but that night was the closest i've ever come to having a truly religious experience.

And Linde's hair was spectacular. That one dred that's like 3 or 4 inches in diameter? yeah. pretty intense. I think it's clever how he uses it to tie up the rest of his hair though...

Tell me about it that was the same as the show I went to last night. Everything you said describes EXACTLY how I felt last night. And I got to meet them all, and Bam and Missy as well (it was the Philli show so of course we knew Bam would be there since he lives like 20 mins away...) But yeah just amazing and as you said, almost a religious experience thats for sure! heart heart heart heart heart heart

Yeah, I was kinda sad when H.I.M. came out. I was at the first show In Washington.....because it were I live...ANYWAYS....

Yeah, I was kinda dissappointed because it was my FIRST time seeing H.I.M. in concert I was like ";~;" Poor Ville didn't even have his mic tuned in right s he had to eat the mic the whole time =/. The good thing was, I knew the songs so well, I could tell what they were playing xDDD. That's kinda sad xDD.

yeah.

i was trying to describe the show i went to in SF during my english class, and this was the closest i could get:

Sadly I could only watch the Projekt Revolution concert on myspace but OH MY GOD AMAZING! I could only imagine what it would have been like to actually have been there, but where as pretty much nobody comes around where I live I'm SOL there. cry

oh, Kotimaan, i'm so sorry!

the closest concerts come to me is about 1/2 hour away.

but usually it's like 2 hours away.

god they are so amazing...

i've been into HIM for like 2 1/2 years, and i still can't wrap my head around how magnificent they are...

You're so lucky to have seen them twice!
They last came to my nearest city 4 years ago but that was when I wasn't
a huge fan and I was only 11 (You have to be at least 14 to go to a concert at the UEA).
But I'll see them one day.

Even though Ville's mic was being crappy, it was still indescribably numbing to hear them play live.
