STORY:
At the beginning, the twin god Mika & Mikeal wanted to create a world in their image. But when it came time to decide they couldn't agree on anything at all, because their opinions greatly differed. So the Great Goddess Sune, who was also their mother, told them this, "You each are allowed to create your own world each, that is in your images. But no matter what I am in control of what happened in each world. And that what was in one would not be allowed in the other, but aptly affecting each other since they'd be parallel worlds."
The Twin Gods Mika and Mikeal agreed to this, and set about designing their worlds. The fanciful Mika created a world of magic and myth. She named her world 'Duhanal'. Were everything a person with a creative mind could think of, in one way or another would exsist. And her source for everything was Magic. But because of this her technology was basic, at it's most advanced was steam. But it didn't matter to the inhabitants of that world, wether human, demon, or half-breed. They were happy and content. With of course wars breaking out amongst the people for power, land and just the hell of it. The center of their lives was magic and myth.
The level headed and practical Mikeal opted for a world were technology was advanced and machines flurished. (Basically our modern times now) But nothing to advanced to keep them from constant war and strife. He named his world 'Celionia'. Technology there advanced at a moderate pace, people were used to the extra help that they received from their every day lives. In this world such thing as demons, magic and such related creatures were just childrens stories to it's inhabitants. They relied on reality and what they could see, feel and prove through of course science. But of course those odd balls would pop up that had second sight or could talk to ghost. These people were usually shunned. Religions abound here in mass, and a multitude of gods were worshiped.
When they were finished, they gave their small worlds and inhabitants over to their mother the great goddess Sune. Who merged them so that what happened in one would approprately affect the other world. And for every person in one world their opposite would be in the other. Though they may not always be the same age, sex or look anything alike. Sune did this to keep it interesting. So if one skipped a class or lesson regularly, the other would be devoted and never do such a thing.
Placing them in her vast black universe of her cloak. She set back with her children.
Who with pride watched their worlds at times flourish or fall back. Each thought their world that they had created was the best. Soon the bickering and fighting had started up again. And the great goddess grew first annoyed, then irritated. When she got really angry she stepped in once more. But in a thunderous, omnious voice stated, "That the two worlds would be merged. And that her children would learn to work together to make this happen of the worlds would be destroyed and lost
forever. Also that they'd would not be allowed to do anything but watch as they worlds would go up in flame and become ashes to float in her universe."
But while this transistion was happening, the they'd have to pick 6 people each that would become messenger, or prophets of sorts. To help the worlds merge as one, and get everyone in their prespective world to adapt to this sudden change. While she herself would chose a single avatar from both worlds that would complete the change... and manage the new world. This task would take a long, long time. For both worlds to believe in gods, magic and the differences in between them. And thus we start out before the twin god's began fighting over who's world was the best. (The people will be chosen at random by me and my mods. We will debate and agree on this. I can not be any of them at all. Not even the avatar. But the
mods will be allowed in the selection to keep it fair. THIS is not NEGOTIABLE to CHANGE!)

RULES: 1] Follow Gaia's ToS
2] NO Cybering, that doesn't mean take it to the pm's. Even if mildly done, it will be reported, this is your only warning.
3] No God moding. There is only one god of this thread and it is me. When I am not here my mods are my replacement. Repeated offenders will be black listed and banned. *also I will change the rules when I see fit, but I will pm all of you to let you know.And place a post in the thread its self.*
4] Language is allowed, but don't be excessive about it. There are young children on gaia. Respect them and me please.
5] ABSOLUTELU NO 1-3 LINER'S. Those piss me off greatly. Write at least 4 full sentence, which equal a paragraph, and have a period, or some other punctuation at the end of it. This is a literate, detailed thread.
6] I am willing to work with people who are Dyslexic, so please state in pm you send me with your character profile. I will be able to tell from the way it is written. I help those how have this learning curve in my spare time.
7] When speakind OOC 2 things use either (()) or [[]] and keep it to a minimum please.
8] I will be picking random people for things to happen in the thread via pm.. This is for major events like: furthering the story line, changing the world and other such things.
9] Romance & Violence are more then encouraged, just don't be excessive or get crazy with it.
10] You can't kill another characters character with out permission that has to be notified to me or a mod that it has been ok'd beforehand. THAT IS GOD MODing.. But you can beat them to with in a inch of his/her life freely of your own word and skill.
11] Absolutely no Flamming, Please be mature.
12] Please respect those that I have choosen as mods please. They are acting in my stead when I am not on gaia. Which happens only rarely mind you.
13] You have to submitt 2 character profiles at once. 1 for each world. They have to be almost exact opposites, reasons why will be announced later.
14] When you pm me the character profile put Dual Shuffel in the subject. IF that isn't there, and/or nothing else is done right it will be sent back with the corrections to be made.

THE WORLD: Each of the prespective worlds mirror each other in the lay out of the land. I will be making a crappy map with paint shop as soon at time permits me to do so. But here are the worlds descriptions.
Duhanal: A world that is lush with forest and animals of all kinds. And then creatures that can only have come from a person's imagination. Though it's level of science and machinary is primitive/basic at best. The most advanced that they have is steam ships and vehicles that tend not to want to work over a lot of the terrain. But what is lacking with that is more then
made up with their knowledge of hand to hand, weaponary and magical combats. Though it does occassionally start wars, the people and creatures inhabiting the land all know not to abuse it. Those that do are quickly and appropriately punished.
This world is split into to main continents and a scattering of isles, of which only 4 are named and inhabited at the current moment. The continents are called Asrina to the cold north and Shardess to the warm south.
Shardess: It has one major city and several small flourishing towns and farms.
Celdishd:
Home to exotic people, animals/creatures and flora fauna. It is the main city on the continent of Shardess to the south. It was a port city on the edge of the coast. It main source of anything was trading and fishing. Having the best access to water and land routes almost every were. This town is home to a major Trading Co. called Marceit that has it's hands into everything. even some things illegal and under handed. They have the best source of information, which they give to any one but at a price.
Asrina: This cold and some what frozen land is home to a type of nomadic people, there is small town and homesteds every were. The people here are hunters and master wielders of water and ice magic. They are fearsom fighters, alwasy warring within the nomadic clans. Though it has one major meeting piont that could be taken as a large town.
Jerlarg:
This is the main town on the continent of Asrina. It is the meeting place for all nomadic trides, and while they are in this town there is a truce they all obey. Wether they are fighting or not. The clan leaders/elders hold meetings, trading is done here among other things.
Nomanshet Island:
A dark and craggy island located to the far east of the Asarnia continent. The few people who live there practice teh darker arts of magic. The little village were they all live is called Nanesh. These people tend to be considered Canniblas and really don't like outsiders, hence the bones that are attached to the high walls. This is also their way of punishment for those who do crimes. It is rumored that they are closely connected to the Marceit trading co., but nothing is proven yet.
Feldorlan Island: A small and simple island set perfectly between the two continents and other islands. t is home to a small dwarfish people, who mine it's land scapes.. A few out siders that are permitted to live there. the stay in cave or small stone structures cut from the land itself as proof of their master craftsmanship.
D'unledreal:
this is the name of the Dwarvish settlement. The people are secretive but do trading between the continent of course through the Marceit Trading Co. But even the Trading Co. Doesn't bother these people and are delicate with their dealings for fear of loosing their business. The few outsiders that live there are rescuees' that are found on the shores after storms or other such things from attacks by ships on ships. or Magical wars and are wanting refuge. This isle seems to be a non magic zone though basic magic is permitted.
Beldhyde Island: Is the newest island to be discovered. Show signs that in the not to distant past was inhabitated. The city there shows it was a place were magic was researched. But for some reason it was mysteriously abandoned. The few and brave explorers who go there, in hopes of finding artifacts of power and the reason why tend to come back changed. Sometimes for the worse, much much worse. The city has been re named Hazard for what ever happens to the explores that go there at their own risks. This island is located farther back from Nomanshet Island. And tends to be surrounded by a semi thick fog. Though the island its self is lush and full of rare exotic vegitation n wild life. this island is set to the immediate north west of Feldorlan
Cormandy Island: This island is home to what would be considered the self proclaimed Royalty of this world. THos who have been proven the strongest of the strong both physical and magical wise. This island is dead set in the far east of Shardess
Continent. The island is a pretty large land mass its' self. Holding the second largest city in the world, aslo the most elaborate. The towering building are made with magic and stone. Adn look irridecent in the light of the sun and moon. Hence it's name is Specter.
Specter:
This is the city that holds tournaments to see who is the strongest of the strong, a good place for weaponary and training in your fields. Some of the rarest items may be found here. The people of this city do very little trading with the Maceit Trading Co. they are liget people who do things in the fashion of a semi-democrative Monarchy.
Celionia: This world is dominated by of course Science and tall buildings. IT's level of machinary is at a peek, aka modern times. The people aren't really superstious, but have a small respect for the unnatural. Next to no magic or occult abilities exist here. The land surrounding the cities is some what fetile, though mostly used up in farming and new land sites for
experiments that people are always doing to further their technology. Like the other world it is made up of 4 islands and two main contenients. These are called Neo Europa to the south and Neo Arlantic to the north.
Neo Europa: Is a warm and tropical place. the people who dwell here are laid back about their research and still enjoy the nature around them. The main city here is called Feydora, after a great scientist who helped modernize this world with some advance computer technology.
Feydora:
Is a relatively lively city at night, but in the day when it is hottest the people lay back and relax. But also a great place for trading and networking for the world. This city doesn't seem to be a down and dirty place. But like any other big city it has it's share of crimes and underhanded dealings. But due to its idyelic nature most people never think about it.
Neo Arlantic: The opposite of Neo Europa, it is almost cold all year around. and in the summer months the sun never truly sets for a month and half. The major city here is called, Citadel, and is aptly named. For it is a virtual Citadel.
Citadel:
This city is the main place for trading in commerce. though it does get a healthy competition from Feydora, this place is also the main archive for all the knowledge, records and advanced research in the world of Celionia. IT is heavily guarded at all times, though not impregnable. But they are advanced enough to catch the criminals who attempt to break in and make off anything. Also the biggest producer of the technology that can be considered weapons for war.
Melina Island:
Located to the south and east of Neo Arlantic. it is not a highly populate place. The small town there is just a stop over with a small airport for travelers. The aptly named town is called, No mans land.
No Mans Land:
Well basically the only thing it has going for it is the airport and port for ships to resupply or transfer to other ships. The few actual dwellers here in this town are happy helpful people. but don't like nosy people. They have set traditions and do their own private research on technology.
Negiagit Island:
Home to this worlds black list people, and top wanted criminals. They will slit their own mothers throats for information and stolen goods. The inhabitants call their small town Sunshine. It is set to the immediate North west of ARlin Amthya.
Sunshine:
Is called this as a joke and reality of such a beautiful sun rise in the world is found there if you can survive the night. The post attached to the town is mostly run down, but sturdy for small boats and ships to get there. The current ruler/mayor of this place is a woman called Diemia. She got that way for being ruthless, you want anything, trust that she will get it to you for a price... A price like Black Jack does to operate on a patient.
Arlin Amtyha Island:
Is small and in the center of the two continents. This is our island that does a lot of trade and exporting, the small city here is flourishing and growing daily. But due to the islands small size it isn't gonna let the city get to big. The city though small and
prosperous is home to another place of amusement parks and crazy fun place for people everywhere and it is called, Osiris.
Osiris:
This city is growing daily, but is kept to a minimum size. It si home to the trade and exporting, but also doubles as a great vacation spot. for it has Amusement parks, and many other fun places as well as the biggest most exotic zoo. The people are roughly trustful, but deal in the normal manner of professional business peoples.
Titularn Island:
This island is most crucial and considered sister to Neo Arlantic. Because this island is a fortress of nature itself. the only way to get on it is to fly. In the center is a huge city that is used for meeting and important descions of the heads of this world. The city was named Dragonis, after a mythical creature Dragon.
Dragonis:
This is were all teh heads of each town and city come to meet in a secluded area, to discuss the vary things of technology and trade. Among other things. To be invited to come here let alone live here is a major honor. But if you fail to meet the trust and work ethetics, you tend to disappear with out a trace, and every record of you existing disappears as well. This place also holds all the lore of mystical fantasy. That they keeped locked away so as not to corrupt the people from their studies and
advancements.
CREATURES/IHABITANTS OF THE WORLD:
Duhanal: aka almost anything your imagination can come up with. this is the fantasy part of this thread. Be creative, but not
completely ridiculous. if you can submit a pic of what a certain creature looks like that would be a good thing. I will put it
under this heading so other will know.
Celionia: aka most modern technology, no weird or bazzaar creatures at all. Your basic everday animals and some exotic that
are kept in zoos and in the wild tropics or cold north. No pictures need unless you are being specific.

Appearance/Discription: Arielanna She wears her dark long hair up in professional type of buns and braids. Her eyes are a deep blue, almost black. Though it is hard to tell when she wears her librarian glasses. Her clothing style is usually baggy, but she has her wild set like you see there.
Powers/Abilities: She was born to one of the few Shrine or temple people. So she has a small connection to the occult in seeing the dead and talking with them. It tires her out when she has to do that, so she sleeps and eats more then usual.
Weapons: She has no real weapons other then her tongue which is sharp edged, byt did take various martial arts as a kid at her mother's behest for her protection. But that stopped when she became 13.
Bio: She lives in Neo Arlantic, were she attends a semi-private yet public school. Mostly rich kids and all that. Arielanna has no real friends, because it would displease her father. Right now she is in training for taking over one of his companies. Which makes her a quite, shy and decent person. Though others tend to think she is snobbish which really hurts her.
Her father does not allow her frivulous things such as art, dance or going out. Main it is school, work, home, chores, bed and repeat. Though Arielanna longs for those things to be back in her life, to have friends and companionship. But because of her strict schedule and father who she is a constant disappointment to, it will probably never happen, as she is overtly obedient and trying to please him.

Her hair is flame red, as is her eyes. Her skin always appears pale or rosy pink because of this. She is petit and very muscular to a trained eye. On her right hand is a tattoo of a dragon, for her clan.
Powers/Abilities: Sarah tends to use her magic in conjunctor with her sword, deamon. But she has a good grasp of magic basics and elemental abilities. She is good at levetation and short distance teleportation, which can only be done 4 times a day right now. Her levetation takes a toll on her mentally.
Weapons: he thin basic Katana as is shown in the picture. And another sword she named deamon
Bio: Sarah is as firey and hot headed as her flame red hair. A decent warrior by any means for her small petite size. She hails from Duhanal's Asrina continent. She is a daughter to one of the nomadic cheftain tribes. Not prone to listen to any one and dives head first into anything.
Which usually results in her getting lectured. Though she is slighlty abrasive and loud of the mouth. Far to honest to do anything about it, sarah loves dancing, drinking and practicing with any one willing to take a physical beating. Loosing her mom to a illeness that magic couldn't cure made her become more of a weapons fighter with magically based abilities, She hates school or learning the family work trade, she tends to run off when her father needs her to things the most.

Appearance/Discription: Long black hair that reaches the middle of his back (is well cared for.), wears a short beard and moustache(also well cared for.), eyes the color of jade (has the tendency to give those who gaze into them the feeling that they are falling into twin pools of darkness. They take in everything and give nothing back.), nice smile(can be charming when he wants to be.), always wears black (not his favorite color, but it helps him blend with the darkness.)
Powers/Abilities: Necromancy, Dark/Shadow magic (as a result he has a difficult time recovering from injury, and he has a low tolorence for sunlight.)
Weapons: well practiced in staffs, blades and hand to hand.
Bio: Growing up with next to nothing, Eric learned how to take what he needed. Eventually, he learned how to get whatever he wanted. When it came to magic, however, he found that it was one thing that could not simply be taken. Not being someone to give up on something he wants, Eric instead started to learn how to control it. He has succeded quite well.

Other: Though not a people person, he will defend to the death anyone who gains his trust.

Bio: Quin was born with everything anybody could ever want, and a desire to always want to know more. He learned how to hack computers out of boredom and does it just for the fun of it. Most people, however, did not find this to be very entertaining. He has been blacklisted by almost every major company in the world.
Element: Wind, water, fire
Other: Quin will work for anyone so long as the job offers a challenge.

School had just gotten out, and Arielanna was heading down to this districts corporate office that belong to her father. With a small sigh she stopped in front of a dance school looking in through the window longingly. The dancers were so graceful and beautiful in their rehearsal, for the big production that would be put on at the city Auditorium. "You gonna come in today miss?" came a aged voice, shocking Arielanna out of her dream of dancing beside them.
Blinking a few times she turned to see the owner and head teacher standing there smiling down at her. Shaking her head as she answer politely. "No ma'am, I can't. Probably late again today to work because I stop by here to watch them practice." She said softly as she turned quickly to hurry down the next few blocks to 'Bell database and lock Co.' The woman sighed and watched her go as she did every day, like she had for the past 4 years. "Oh there is so much potential and hope in that girl, what ties her like it does?" she mumbled to herself as she walked silently back into the building.

Sarah turned and stuck her tongue out at her hunting party member and best friend of 13 years. "OH come on Ferdy, get your slow butt into gear, I wanna see if we can't catch an Ice roach today. That would make their jaws drop." she yelled back to a colorfully clad male, carrying a long sword and a few poles. He looked at her disgruntled and iritatbly. But smiled at her eager look.
"OH Sarah you know you should be back in the tribe doing inventory for trading in the city. Why do you do this to your poor father. HE loves you dearly." he yelled back at the flame hair beauty that was running with sure feet over the icy ground, like one of the wild animals would in their natural habitat. Rolling to the side as a small pebble was tossed back at him accurately.
Glancing again at Sarah, he saw that she was stopped , hands on her hips, glaring at him. Eye brow raised, mouth in a thin firm line. He knew what was coming, and bracing himself seconds before the impact. "Oi you jerk you know how to ruin a good time don't you Ferdy. Take this!" she growled at him as she landed on him with leathal force knocking him to the ground and began to twist his ears painfully, until he gasped out "Merci!" Staring down at him, Sarah stopped twisting and started to giggle insanely, falling to the side. His face was comically priceless like always.

Randall ran through Citadel, leaping off of ledges and buildings, a pack of officers behind him. He ran through a crowd of businessmen and leapt into a construction zone. Randall took advantage of all the moving equipment and the industrial jungle gym to get rid of the police. Randall stopped on the very upmost beam, and took out a flask of water. Randall drank almost the entire flask in one drink and put it away. He then stood up and reached into his back pocket. Randall pulled out a very bizarre-looking machine that seemed to have no purpose. Then, Randall heard a gun cocking behind him.
-"Now hand over the device, Randall, and nothing will happen..."
Randall turned around and saw the officer that he had the closest connection to, Lenny.
-"Aw, but Lenny... that'll be no fun..."
Randall quickly stuffed the machine into his back pocket and fell off the building backwards with both hands stretched out. Lenny shot off a few rounds, but of course missed. Randall grabbed onto a telephone wire and slid down it. He then leapt onto one of the telephone poles and ran off into the city elsewhere.

Jökull crept through the frozen wasteland, Icebreaker in hand. There were several men with Jökull, and several were carrying various game. Jökull held up a hand, and all the men froze. Jökull readied his power and crept forward. He saw a sleeping bear, fur coated in blood from it's most recent kill. Jökull swung his sword overhead and sent a blast of ice to the bear. The bear rose it's head but couldn't react in time to dodge the blast. The bear froze to the core, and Jökull smashed the frozen bear with Icebreaker.

He sits in a room on the top floor of a huge office building, behind a massive desk dominated by a top quality computer. Best of the best. He wasn't worried about intruders or assassins. His building was protected by one of the best security systems in the world. Besides, although one of the most wanted men of the world nobody knew who he actually was. To his enemies and allies alike, he is simply known as Quin. His mouth quirks upward in a thin lipped smile as he by passes another firewall set up by his latest victim. "That was fun. When this job is over I should update my security again. Seems I'm a little outdated. Now, let's have a look at what else you have in store for me." ****** Eric glides silently along the black marble corridor, the pale illumination of candles lights his way. Though excited about his new acquisition, nothing in his expression reveals it. Reaching the end of the corridor, Eric opens a finely crafted door of ebony and silver revealing a large room, a combination of a library and laboratory. "As difficult as it was to obtain this thing, I certainly hope the secrets it contains are worth the price." He walks over to a large stone table, upon which rests a rather plain looking book bound in black leather.

Quin logs off with a sigh, after finishing the job. "That was no fun at all. I should charge double for having to put up with it. All well, maybe this meeting will be more entertaining. There aren't too many clients worth meeting directly, but he does own a fairly large chain of businesses." He smiles at the thaught. "He probably thinks he's honoring me by offering my company the job." ****** Eric slams the book shut, cursing loudly. "All the trouble I went through to get the damned thing and I can't even read it!" He grips the edges of the table, trembling with the effort to control his rage. After a few moments his composure is restored. "No need to lose my head over it, all I need is someone who can read it."
