A while ago,(like months ago) I was playing MM, and I'm going for Ray, but I talk to everybody so that they're my friends.
So one day I woke up and Joe gave me a ring and basically told me he loved me. I (naturally) freaked out and almost started crying. I felt so sorry for him. He went to all the trouble to get me a ring and I'm not going to marry him. Not even consider him. I was so sad, and I felt so guilty! crying
Has anything like this ever happened to you? Has HM ever left you feeling guilty?

Actually, it made me feel very giggly. o_o
For example, when one of the bachelors give you a kiss at the end of some certain dates.
AND when Jamie blushes when I talk to him. CX
Joe is the expert on making me feel extra giggly. D:
The more hearts you get with him, the more he expresses his feelings.
I just luff MM. XD

First off, if I were you, I would go for Joe instead of Ray. Simply because Joe has a job and shoes and doesn't wear a rope belt (in other words, Ray is as close to a hobo as you can get in these games.) and Joe obviously hands out the good gifts instead of just fish. And he doesn't just talk about fish. But that's just my opinion. Personally, I'm after Louis, so I don't even think I should be talking.
Secondly, Harvest Moon does have a tendency of getting to your feelings, doesn't it? I mean, don't you feel really terrible when your little graphic friends move away? crying That's guilt for me. 'Cause I mean, they go when you ignore them, so you're all like, "No! Come back! I'll talk to you more!" But when Basil leaves, it isn't your fault, because it's his job, but you miss him too, don't you? It's like your little virtual family in that town!
Also, when I stopped playing Harvest Moon: A(nother) Wonderful Life, and saw Harvest Moon: Magical Melody, and then went to AWL again, I couldn't get into it as much. That left me feeling weird.
P.S. Can I please use that idea for a fanfiction? I'll give you lots of credit! I promise! Your story is very touching, and I must share it with the world!

Umm... yes... that did happen. Interestingly enough I was playing Magical Melody too. I was going for Kurt and I was on good terms with Joe too. Anyways, one of the messages he says when you get him to a lot of hearts was something along the lines of "I'm glad Kurt doesn't like the same type of girl as I do." I was like "............." It made me feel guilty.

Anyways, one of the messages he says when you get him to a lot of hearts was something along the lines of "I'm glad Kurt doesn't like the same type of girl as I do." I was like "............." It made me feel guilty. This is out of the blue, but... I almost cried... D:

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one!
@Dandelion: I was going to marry Louis, but he wasn't in my town, I accidentaly made friends with Ray because I was trying to get the free fishing pole(I'm cheap like that) and he's just so cute! Besides, if Ray's a hobo, shouldn't I be nice to him? Joe can earn his keep and rent off of my land. smile P.S. By all means, go ahead and write that fanfiction. I'd love to read it!

That's great! A free fishing pole is as good as any reason... sweatdrop maybe.

Harvest Moon has made me feel warm and comfy in the inside on a couple of occasions. Probably the best was when I married Popuri for the first time Back in Harvest Moon: 64. Then again, after the baby was born.
I felt sad and guildy when I played Harvest Moon: GBC 3. We lost the farm, had a divorce, and went back home.

lol it happens to me ALL of the time! I cried when The Cooking judge said he would give me the pig instead of killing it. I was like: "KILL THE PIG??? HELL NO, GIVE ME PORKY!!!" ^_^ I luf me little Porky *virtually snuggles Porky* I also got giggly at the wedding of me and Kurt, and also when I became pregnant. I would go around to my friends and say, "I'M PREGNANT WITH A VIRTUAL BABY :3". My friend Tyler would ALWAYS ask me if my baby was born yet, and i totally jumped around like a crazy person when the baby was born! ^__^

(havn't posted in this guild in a while. Been too focused on the damn game. Lolz.)
Yes! I do have the whole mixed feelings. I was actually debating with myself whether or not to give Joe the blue feather. Because I was tied between bob and joe. Bob is such a fatherly figure to anyone and Joe is just so loveing. Lolz. So I was actually literally walking from the farm Bob's at, back to Joe's workshop, back to bob, then to joe, bob, joe, bob and so on. I couldn't decide. I actually got fed up and stopped the game just to go over the pros and cons between both of them. So, I decided to go with the crowd on here and chose joe.
Well, then I became pregnant. >.< I was so attatched to taht fact. God. I would literally count down the days. I didn't raise any animals, i didn't plant any crops, just woke up, gave joe a little gift (Something we both do) and slept...over and over and over again. Now we have a little boy, and moving on to our third year as a family. =) So nice, right? Lolz. Aiden, our baby, just learned to walk, and I actually clapped.
It's wierd how your emotions can get tied to the game. I went around telling my friends taht I was excited about the new baby, and everyone had no idea what I was talking about. Lolz.
