When I do TekTek versions of the Doctor, I use the blue Plasma Gear hand held light stick thingy as a Sonic Screwdriver. It's not perfect, but it never is with a Gaia avi.

You can get 3D Glasses, like the Doctor uses in Doomsday.
They sell them in Barton Boutique, for like, 180 gold.
