This is a branch-off from some of the events that occured in Hunter's Hall. To recap: An insider to the Slayer's alliance procured a lost text for a demoness messanger. She met with them and exchanged a powerful demonic blade for the dark book. Eventually, the transaction was discovered and the insider was punished. However, the book is still in evil hands and is being brought back to a demon lord. Commander Kaki Pan has decided to search out the Demoness messanger and return the book to the Alliace's vaults.

This RP will have dual running plots: That of the slayers, and that of the demons they are pursuing. Yes, Demons. You didn't honestly think that a messanger would be sent into the mortal plane alone, did you?
The slayers can begin posting in the setting right outside the Hunter's Hall. They are to follow the Demoness' trail through a sparse wood, and then further into a swamp. They cannot take a shortcut, as the demons are themselves taking the most direct route. Vehicals can be used to navigate through the hilly woodlands, but are worthless in the muddy swamps. Keep in mind that the infernal have many mortal allies, and you will most likely be attacked on your journey.
The Demons in turn are making their way to an area where the bridge between the planes is a bit closer than usual. Here, they will rip a hole in the fabric of reality to descend into the Infernal realm. (Relevant information can be made known to other characters via Ryuko, as he is a prior Demon). The demons are already on their way and are dealing with more divine problems. Their journey will be slowed by this, allowing the slayers to eventually catch up.
Note on the Divine: Divine weapons and/or armor cannot be handled by demons, mortals, or any other being other than divine beings. To do so results in a terrible burning that will eventually destroy those that try to touch the item. (this includes trying to indirectly pick it up).

Kairha sped through the forest. suddenly she stopped. She looked around nervously. A creeping feeling of fear made it's way up into her chest from the pit of her stomach. She looked toward the sky, it was perfectly clear. However, she couldn't shake the awful feeling that heavenly forces had taken notice of her actions. She started running again, leaves flying into the air as the blur of the demoness whisked by. If the divine were onto her, she would need protection. She hurried toward the edge of the swamp.

Ryuko was running with his Positron Rifle in place. He looked around, but he saw nothing. Getting that book back was top priority. He ran through the forest and saw tracks.
"Damn demoness..." whispered Ryuko, as he headed to the edge of the swamp.
Ryuko looked around, he swore he heard fluttering, but the sky was clear. Ryuko kept vigilant and raised his Positron Rifle to the sky.
He fired. Three shots could be heard. It would have gained some attention.

Attention was gained. Three distant pops resounded in the distance, sounding much like firecrackers. A barbarous hiss escaped the jagged port of Ingarhaad's mouth as he looked up to the sky.
He had been sitting in the swamp, wating impatiently for Kairha to return. Now, he sensed something had gone amiss. The Blightspawn began to move. His blackened armor rising out of the stinking mud, it's iron confines wrapped around bulks of muscle and morbid skin. Purplish flesh, mapped with bloody lascerations, flexed and twisted as the humongous demon rose to stand in the murky waters. A half chestplate partialy covered Ingarhaad's massive torso, connecting onto the barbed Iron plates that covered his left arm. His right arm was left bare, save a wide metal bracer across his wrist. Ingarhaad's legs were clothed in dark, loose fitting leather, stripped from some hellish beast. Covering his lower legs and thick calves was more iron armor, though half of it was hidden beneath the swampy muck. Covering the terrifying head of the behemoth was an Infernal helm, slotted so that it could be donned over the horns of the great demon. No eyeslit was needed as Ingarhaad had no eyes, nor a nose gaurd as he lacked that as well. Ears were also devoid on this foul creature, leaving him only with some dark ability to percieve the world around him.
Lifting a large, festering plank of iron that served as his weapon, Ingarhaad moved toward the edge of the swamp, growing restless as he waited for Kairha. After a few long moments he lost patience and began to move out in search for her (and might wreck the scenery while he was at it). He had not gone but a few paces when an all too familiar voice bellowed at him from behind...

A slow and rather insane sounding laughter was heard from behind Ingarhaad. Its owner was still cloaked in the darkness of the swamp but it had escaped from the formed lips of Zirikia.
She had been waiting in the darkness watching Ingarhaad growing more and more impatient waiting for Kairha. Indigo amour was the first thing to emerge from the shadows, the dark green tined skin and form of Zirikia followed. She moved fluidly towards Ingarhaad, the indigo corset styled body plate was tight and framed her muscular body perfectly, not that she had no female figure, in fact it was well defined because of her muscles. She let one hand grace her cheek, the long dark purple nails softly rubbing the edge of her skin. The moonlight then caught the silver arm bracelets protecting her lower arms, the leather trousers clinging on to the defined legs of Zirikia and the boots tightened by straps. Hanging on her waist was the belt that held in place her twin blades. The third dark purple eye visible in her forehead, while her two normal eyes were covered with her green eyelids. Slowly she opened them, lilac eyes looking at the back of Ingarhaad. She couldn't let him go on a rampage right now, could she?
"You know we are to wait here Ingarhaad." Her voice was laced with a teasing tone. "If you go off now you could just ruin everything." She looked up to the sky, waiting for his reply, she didn't really need to spend time telling him off, she had no need to.

"Bahhh!", Ingarhaad growled. "Ssshut your Lipss, Zzirikiaa!", he hissed. He turned his towering mass to face the greenskinned demoness, still somewhat shadowed by the decaying plantlife of the swamp. "Why have you come to see usss?", He stooped down to put his "face" to hers. " Ordersss, of courssse? Hahehehe", he laughed, a long serpentine tounge wagging out from behind vicious teeth.

Never faltering or blinking Zirikia let her left hand grace her hip, closing her eyes while he hissed at her. She had been warned of his behavior and of course they had had run ins before. "I am here to help apparently.." she paused looking directly at him, even though he had no eyes she still glared and stared as if she was looking into his eyes. "Just because I am loyal to my master." It was true, he may not have been trying to hint on her loyal servitude to her master but many of her kind did. "And you running around rampant will not aid us."

He stood straight again, his head cocked slightly in confusion. "Open your eyesss!...", he poked her roughly in the head with a digit almost as wide as her neck. "We are no longer alone in this plassse.", he spread his arms, motioning to the mortal plane they were in, more so than the swamp itself. He had sensed it earlier, the intrusion of the divine into the plane. Perhaps because he had so few senses, or perhaps because he knew it well. He wondered if she had not felt it. "Time is short for Kairha...". He stopped, thinking about something Zirikia had said.
"You are helping usss?", he questioned suspiciously. "At what prissse?", he gripped his virulent plank tighter." The book iss mine for my massster!", he warned.

Frustrated she sighed, opening all three of her eyes. She looked around the mortal plane, at least the part they were in and then down to her blades. "Are the Divine near?" She questioned, she had sensed something, but she had not been out on the job so to speak for quite a while now. "Do they know...of the book."
A smirk spread over her coated dark lips, "I am." she stated coolly. "Do you think my master would need the book. Ha, I am here for a sub-quest for my master... the book would make a nice addition though." She added, she was teasing mostly, but then her tone turned serious. "He did not mention wanting the book.... At this time at least... if the time comes though, I will do as ordered, you know that Ingarhaad." She was stating facts, she probably stood little chance with his fury and strength but if her master contacted her to get the book she would try, but it really wasn't her problem right now. "...All he said was to make sure no one other than a demon claimed the book...." She shrugged a little.

"Hmph", he grunted, a bit insulted by her near-threat. "...just remember your plassse!", Ingarhaad growled. "...and, yesss. They are here.", he answered her previous question. " How long hass it been for you sssince you've tasssted the sssoul of an angel?", his mouth formed into a large and wicked grin. He hefted his weapon up onto his shoulder, turning his helmed head toward the sky in the same motion. "You might get to die for your massster, after all. Hahahehehe!", he poked fun in a way only demons would understand as a joke.-------------------------------- Bariest soared over a vast expanse of woodland, tracking the eddies that otherworldly evils pulsed and radiated. The glowing being perched itself on the roof of a large and solid looking facility (Hunter's Hall). An accursed item of devout blasphemy had been kept here for a while, though the angel wasn't sure of whether it might still be here. Bariest paced the edge of the rooftop for a bit, trying to get a feel for the direction of all the waves of different energies that had flowed through here. Mortals were gathering below, but Bariest paid them no heed.
Three shots in the distance caught the angel's attention. It wasn't the weapon that discharged them, but rather the being that held the weapon that was now the focus of all it's attention. Bariest lept into the air and made for the Demonic aura in the forest.

"I will, I hope you remember yours..." She smirked a little, loving to tease. "..... Then this might be a challenge after all." She paused at his question, how long had it been? She couldn't really remember. "Too long..." A twisted smirk played on her lips while she planned in her mind just what she would do. Looking around again, trying to get used to the mortal realm... It really had been a long time. She glared and let a small snarl pass through her lips. "Then so be it, I would be willing to die if it is for him... Just because I am his most loyal demon..." She paused, she knew it was in fun really but it didn't bother her, she was used to it by now. "So what is our task?" She decided the round the subject back on itself.

Ingarhaad turned to her. Dark thoughts swirled in his vile brain. "We wait...we ssset a trap. We cannot persssue Kairha, you are right in that.", he turned his chin over his shoulder, "...But we can be sssure to attract attention with a little disssplay!", With that he swung his great iron plank at the surrounding foliage. "Jussst rememer to hide yourssself before it getsss here!", he yeled above the crashing of branches and sizzling of bark at the weapons touch.
Trees grew boils that blisterd and popped, emmitting foul smelling clouds. Ingarhaad unleashed a volly of instintaneous decay upon all that he beheld. The water began to blacken with disease and the soil grew sticky with bile as Ingarhaad continued his pointless onslaught. He slammed his weapon through the underbrush and uprooted dead trees with his bare hands. He could feel the energy being slowly sapped from him by Damarue, his demonic iron plank. It was a good thing there were others, he would not be able to destroy an angel in a weakened state.

Zirikia looked and nodded. "Of course. Would you like a hand or do you plan on taking away all my fun?" She chuckled a little watching while Ingarhaad unleashed his attacks. Pulling out her weapons she smirked, cutting an old demonic symbol on some tree trunks before they began to wither and die, true her power wasn't as great at Ingarhaad at destroying but it was just for starters. "I spend most of my time in Shadow...that should be no problem." The trees she had marked began to slowly die, the leaves turning to almost ash before falling to the floor, from the ground it would seem pointless, she was just randomly attacking, but from the sky, the demonic symbol she craved on the tree was formed by the dead trees among the decaying ones.
