Welcome! Here in Geeks United, we're trying not to put rules and restrictions on things, but for this to be somewhat organized, we need rules. I'm sorry guys, but we need Rules. I'll try not to make a lot!
Rules: (I know we all hate them!)
Gerneral:
1. Respect Everyone who is participating. Taunting is allowed, but we will not tolerate anything more than friendly taunts.
2. One Post cannot be worth more than 30 points. No matter what you do.
Wow guys! I'm already finished with the rules! YES! Go me! Only two rules, but now we have to go into Guidelines!
Explained the Point System:
Icons are worth five points.
Witty Taunts and Banter (And I mean, REALLY witty banter) Is worth three points.
An Icon Story (a good one, people. Go see one of Zeera's in "The Weirdest Thing Happened Today... Forum to see a story that WOULD NOT get points!) is worth 10 points.
Reused icons are only worth 1 point, so don't use EVERY icon you can find in one post!
Note: I Reserve the right to deduct points at anytime for unsportsmen-like behaivor or cheating. (Yes, there is a way to cheat)
Defining the "Buddy-System":
In this War, you will be able to choose your buddy! A Buddy can be any character from anything and will hopefully be there to help you. (Mostly, they will appear on your icons) Another good way to make use of your buddy is their catch phrases and junk. Your Buddy will be attacked mercilessly like you, so I'd advise you to be ready to defend your Buddy.
At any time, you can recruit different Buddies, but these Secondary Buddies can be stolen and recruited to aother team at any time. Your Primary Buddy is the only one safe from Stealing.
But... Not death. At anytime, your Buddy can be "killed." Te revive your Buddy, you have to earn at least 50 Points!
To kill a buddy, first you must be awarded 100 points, and then you have the right to kill any buddy you can find!
Cheating:
In this war, you are incharge of putting how much your post is worth in this and then adding it to your score. At the top of your post, you are required to post how much your post is worth and at the bottom, you must post how much you have in full. If, at anytime I notice that you are adding your own points to your score without earning them, you will get 10 points deducted. IF you feel I have done this unfairly, please PM me.
Also, there is no double posting. Another person's post MUST be inbetween yours! This is to keep one person (like me) who has no life from sitting here hours on end posting and gaining a million points in one day!
Well, thats it, guys! You may now all go out there and Spam each other with NO MERCY!
