The idea is to get a Drowner of Secrets into play as soon as possible and start milling. Then it's simply a matter of getting as many merfolk into play as possible as quickly as possible.

The Coastal Towers and Boreal Shelves are filler until I get more Wandervine Hubs.

The Reef Shamans and Tideshaper Mystics are included simply because they are one-drops.

Some Ambassador Laquatus would make it a bit meaner but I don't have any.

Any other ideas, comments, or suggestions?

I can vouch for this deck's disgustingness. I have both played it and played against it. It's a real pain!

I of course drafted Merfolk at the midnight release and I bought two more packs at Pokemon League Saturday. Using that 8 packs worth of stuff and some trades I rebuilt my deck and made it even more disgusting.

More good news: I've sped up the mana curve a bit. Once I get the newest version typed up I'll post it here.

I could also use some help with my newest elf deck so I'll be posting that in the near future.

I realized that the white wasn't helping much so I decided to go mono-blue.

Creatures (25)
3 Mothdust Changeling - (U) Grimoire Thief tapper; gains flying
4 Merrow Witsniper - (U) Mills a card as it comes into play
4 Drowner Initiate - (U) Triggered ability lets me mill 2 cards whenever a blue spell is played
4 Silvergill Adept - (U) Lets me draw a card when it comes into play
3 Grimoire Thief - (UU) Removes 3 cards from target deck from the game when tapped
4 Drowner of Secrets - (2U) Tap a merfolk: mill a card
3 Merrow Reejerey - (2U) Merfolk Lord; lets me (un)tap things when I play Merfolk spells

Enchantments (3)
3 Merrow Commerce - (1U) Untaps my Merfolk at the end of my turn

Transient Spells (8 )

Sadly a lot of that stuff has dissapeared on me :/ though I am thinking of trying to get my mill deck posted onto here... hm... what testing I have done against your deck I do not know what to tell you about it we would have to get around you and me both getting some strange amounts of wierd mana issues.

Though a small sidenote your 15th card in your sideboard is oddly illegal at least according to the deck post...

Doh! Gotta fix that. I wish I could run 10 or 12 Memory Sluices. My actual sideboard is legal I just kinda screwed up the write-up.

EDIT: Speaking of sideboards, the Krakens and Ponders proved to be worthless so I'm going to be rebuilding my sideboard before the tourney Thursday (in case we go again).
