User ImageGloved paws pressed softly against the wooden floors. His gray eyes peered all around HQ for any signs of familiar faces. All strangers to him with no signs of old friends near by. It didn't matter that much anymore. Not that he was abbandoning his friends, but that he was settling into the daily pattern now. He would still search for his friends, but not as strongly as before. They are somewhere safe, he knew that in his heart. So as long as they were safe that was all that mattered.

Besides, he had to remain optimistic. He had to keep walking forward. This is what Mana would want. He had to keep that promise to him. Just keep walking forward and don't turn back. No regrets. There wasn't time for regrets.

He pressed softly onward toward the lit fireplace for some warmth. Curling up beside the fireplace did him some good. At least he wasn't thinking anymore, not conciously anyway. He just stared at the fire, watching the flames dance and crackle lightly on the firewood. At least he had Tim to keep him company. He wasn't all that alone in this place. Minus Kanda, he didn't count.

Utterly confused as to how he had ended up here and just why he was in a furry version of himself, Vash wandered into the lodge. He was amazed at the veritable wealth of vegetation that surrounded him. Even more so then that, water was freely available! That made him all sorts of delighted as it meant no more nearly dying of thirst while wandering aimlessly over vast tracks of desert.

So, while he had no idea why he'd gotten transported here he was glad that his water supply worries were no longer important. The glint of gold caught his eye and he adjust his glass further down his nose so that he could properly see. Turqoise gaze settle on Timcampi and he cocked his head to the side his confusion momentarily set aside. Without a word he came up even with Allen, as silent as a shadow, before asking his question in a friendly manner. "What's that?" He asked, indicating the kitsu's little friend. His ears were perked forward in curiosity as he peered at the odd creature. Was there a tinker in this place that made such things?

Tim floated in the air silently beside Allen. He, too, wasn't really focused on much besides his master laying there in the warmth. When Vash stumbled upon the two, Tim was scared to bits! Such a giant kitsu! He wasn't even sure if it was a normal kitsu. So tall...

Snapping out of his daze, he quickly dived towards his silver haired master, constantly bumping into him lightly. Wake up! The kitsu looked like he was about to eat the little fellah.

For the most part Allen was in a daze. He wasn't thinking about much of anything, but his focus was on the crackling fire place. When the giant shadow towered over his own, he didn't even take a notice. Under normal circumstances he would hear the soft footsteps with his sensitive ears. At the least it wasn't an akuma since his cursed eye didn't activate.

It wasn't until Vash spoke that Allen became aware of his presence there. Since he didn't expect much of anything, he jumped to his paws in surprise. When his senses came to, he could see the enormous shadow shallowing his form. A rather frightening image. Even if his eye didn't activate, he thought it was an akuma at first just from the giant size of the shadow. No normal Kitsu would have such a large form, right?

With a gulp, he turned around ever so slowly. His head was forced upward to meet the eyes of the giant. The height difference was obvious, but the silver haired boy made a surprised glance regardless. Even though he was speechless for a short moment, one could tell he was comparing the height difference of the two. He really was a bean sprout compared to him. Ironic how the nickname he threw fits over actually came true. Kanda would have a ball.

"Huh? Oh, sorry," he smiled apologetically, scratching his head lightly with embarassment, "I was in a daze, so I couldn't hear you. What did you say again?"

Vash pulled back as the other responded more in fright then anything and peered at him, one brow dropping into a quizzical expression. When Allen started the scrutinize him, Vash fidgeted but grinned, his wings ruffling themselves up around him. The soft rustle of feathers reminded him of their existence and he grimaced slightly. They were so incredibly annoying! With a decisive movement, they tucked in close to his body - almost as though he was trying to get them to disappear.

"What is that? Some sort of machine... thing?" He pointed at the little companion, "Who's the mechanic?" It might prove to be a good idea to go find the thing's maker. He needed to maintain his gun... He pouted suddenly. It was so much more difficult to use it now.... stupid paws. Granted, he'd figured out how to adapt to the change but still...

The little golem hovered in the air, sniffing the tall kitsu. He sort of shied away then came back to sniffling him again. What an interesting kitsu...at least he didn't look as if he would eat the little golem. That much was certain.

Gray eyes peered towards Tim when the tall one mentioned its creator. The creator? Ugh...Master. Foul memories of his master started flooding back to him. All the times Allen was left alone to pay off all his bills for all the things he did. Not to mention all the weird things he made or brought "home". Man eating plants that enjoy affection...was one of the many weird things Allen first thought of. He could not help but feel irritated within. General Cross was such a odd, irritating man...

Snapping out of his angry memory lane trip, a smile returned back to his face, "He's a machine, I guess you could say that. He's a golem, but he's a special kind that my master made. But you wouldn't want to meet him," he thought angrily. Just thinking about the man was ticking him off!

Vash laughed softly as the little creature sniffed at him and reached a paw out, ears perking to focus on Timcampi. Though he blinked as his words seemed to trigger some sort of bad memory and his expression fell slightly, becoming apologetic. Oops... didn't mean to start off on the wrong foot...

"A golem.....?" His brows drew down in some confusion, trying to figure out what that might be. He had nothing, really, to compare it to from his own long life. "Never heard of them. Well... Are you any good with firearms? Or do you know anyone who has expertise in that area?" He smiled, genuinely curious. Fluffing his wings, he settled onto his haunches, once more looking at the critter. He'd never been one to ask for names since doing often resulted in his being requested as well.... and he still didn't know if he was infamous here as well.

He sighed. Such a dreadful reputation... pursing his lips, he shook his head as though to clear the thoughts away and grinned again. "What're you doing here? I'm new to... town, I guess you could say." He laughed lightly, running a paw through his spiky hair.

He shouldn't have expected everyone to know what golems were off hand. Not everyone lived in the same world he did. How could he explain it in simpler terms so the tall one could understand? "Yeah, a golem. He's sort of a communicator, I guess you could say. Tim is a little special, though, aside from his special golden color. He can detect Master's special modified akumas. How it works, though, I'm not sure myself," He shrugged his sholders lightly.

Firearms? Komui-san was. He was the expert of many things as far as Allen knew. Even if repairing weapons was rather painful for the silver haired boy. That man was fountain of knowledge, even if a bit strange at times. "I do know someone, but I don't think I can find him for you," his shoulders dropped slightly as he thought about it. Home...the Black Order. How could he reach that place?

His long ears perked up at the question. It was a good question. The answer, though, he wasn't sure of. Only him and Kanda were here...And they weren't even sent here together, so how did they end up here? "I'm not sure myself. I was sent on a mission...and next thing I knew I ended up here," he nodded lightly.

A translator then, hnn? Interesting. Must be more useful then carrying around a dictionary. He nodded and let the subject drop but tucked the information away. One never knew when one might need a handy dandy mechanical bird-thing translator, after all.

"Oh well, that's fine. I'll just have to do it myself then." Which he'd rather avoid, in all honesty. Messing with his gun resulted in things going wrong... His expression turned sombre for a brief moment but quickly returned to the easygoing grin.

It was Vash's turn to perk. He was always interested in the ebb and flow of society. Goodness knew he could really only keep up by entering the lives of people for a little bit at least. Besides, this one was interesting... seemed like a good enough person. "What sort of mission? The sort to need hired help?" He flashed a winning smile and nudged his glasses up higher on his nose - they always seemed to slip more like this... Frowning, he tilted his head to and fro, side to side, making sure the glasses wouldn't move before returning his attention to Allen.

"Seems like something's bothering you... The mission not going too well?" Friendly and unimposing as usual, the infamous man smiled more then he frowned.

No, the mission wasn't going particularly well at all. So far he only knew Kanda was the only other person here in this world. None of the others were sent here as far as he knew. But Kanda wasn't even on the same mission as him, hell, the guy was probably on the other side of the world doing something else for the Black Order. Things didn't look as if they would get any better soon.

His promise to Mana didn't seem to be working out too well. "No," He shook his head lightly. Despite everything, though, he would try to at least keep a optimistic attitude. "I don't know where we are, or where anyone else is. I've only seen one other friend of mine. At least he's safe, thank goodness." He smiled softly. The boy wouldn't admit Kanda was a friend in front of said person, but with this stranger it should be ok.

"That's good!" He replied cheefully. nodding, "When those close to you are in trouble, it demands action." He patted the smaller kitsusagi in the shoulder, "Hopefully you'll find your other friends or at the very least figure out where we are. I've no idea... I swear I turned around and found myself looking like this." He shrugged his shoulders a little, clicking the rings of his left arm against the floor.

"I'm furry and have wings... I don't even know how to you use them." He pouted and turned his head to stare at them with a small frown. Then his stomach rumbled and his expression became a little embararssed as he returned his gaze to Allen, "Hey.... You hungry? Know any decent places to eat around here?" Hopefully they'd be be cheap too... he didn't exactly have much money on him (his water canteen was kept topped up, however, as water was too precious a resource to simply walk by and not snag some - you never knew when the next opportunity to refill might arise).

He smiled softly at the larger Kitsu's encouragement. For a moment there he was losing faith in finding his friends, but if there were others like him around who are just as friendly, it may not be as bad as he first thought. It'll be ok. They'll find the answer soon enough.

Allen couldn't help but laugh lightly at the other's stomach rumbling. He wasn't all that familiar with this place, but he knew how to get by. For whatever reason there was a kitchen in here with all sorts of food. Anything desirable was here for anyone to freely take. Even a stove, an oven...It was almost like back at HQ. Only minus the cafeteria feel of it...and that crazy cheif Jerry.

"There's a kitchen in there. It's free for anyone to get and use," He nodded lightly.
