I want a Wii to. It already has the best lineup of any of the three systems. Zelda, Super Paper Mario, Super Mario Galaxy, Metriod prime three, just to name a few. It's also the cheapest of the three. Just don't expect to find one until next year.
Anyway I believe it comes with a controller and maybe a cheep game not sure. But you would need to buy a better game at least.

Yes, and despite all the bullshit flying around, the Wii "nunchuks" aren't lame.
Then again, some idiots said the same about the CDs back in the days ("but dude, CDs for a game console are so going to be lame!!!!!1111112")
And yeah, you need a good game to really enjoy the Wii. Something like Metroid Prime 3. The cutesy little bowling games and such they show in the ads are fun, but only for like thirty minutes. It's like, let's say, someone years ago buying the Playstation 1 just to play DDR. rolleyes
All in all, I wish I could buy me a Wii myself (I've tried it, one of my friends has one... But OTOH his computer is archaic. Priorities missplaced, I call it,) but around here they cost around seven hundred dollars. The same money I would "waste" to get me a Dual Core CPU and a 512 MB video card for my computer.
Then again, the DS (around here, it's known as the Nintendo DipShit) costs only a few hundred dollars less, so the Wii itself isn't that overpriced in the context of my "let's overprice everything!" country. sweatdrop

$700?! OMG.
Same with the Philippines....everything seems to be cheaper execpt for like game platforms...Weird.
I don't understand why they would charge $400 for a playstation 2 when we all know that it's pirated(is that how you really spell it? neutral )

Sure, because anyone whould choose buying a game at 100 dollars instead of 2 dollars. talk2hand
But yeah, the Wii around here is not suitable for kids under 400 dollars/month

However I'm not buying any of the new systems until they are around 150 to 200 in price. No matter how much i want the games. Also by then Twilight Princess, Mario Galaxy, Super Paper Mario, Metroid Prime 3 and all the other games worth bying will by like 15 to 25 bucks used.

My mom doesn't let me get used games and things. That's why she doesn't want to buy me a car when I get my drivers license. She doesn't trust used cars...and she doesn't want to get me a new one! sweatdrop
Well anyway, I guess I'll get the Wii. I want it...
Oh, do I need to buy it memory or something like that? This guy a school, who's a game nerd, said I should. But doesn't it come with 512 MB? Isn't that enough?

Knowing "potatamoto" you probably will need a few add-ons to it, yeah.
Dunno about memory, but after the Gamecube used GBAs as controllers, it wouldn't surprise me. rolleyes

A new question: Where should I buy it? I want to get it as cheap as it can get, without it being used or broken. I went to Best Buy and Wal-mart, and they're all out of stock.

yeah I was thinking of buying a wii cause of the following:
1.House of the Dead
2.Wii Perfect Shot
3.HORI Wii Arcade Fighting Stick
4. Guilty Gear game
5. Metal Slug
6. Fatal Frame (heard its only gonna be for the wii)
but I have the Xbox 360 and I love it.
so Wii owners how your wii? still enjoying it? LOL

Wii's are awesome! I got mine at Toys-r-us. But some of the games get repetative and you get bored really easily... but some games are fun like: (i have a Wii... for like a long time now. >.<)
-Super Smash Brother's: Brawl
-Legend of Zelda: Twillight Princess
-Wario Ware Smooth Moves (gets repetative.)
and others i am to lazy to list XD
Yeah nunchuks are important.... just about every game needs one. Additional stuff you should get are more wii remotes and nunchuks. (and games!)
You can also play gamecube games on the wii, there is a place at the top where you can hook up all that stuff.
Well there is a lot of other great stuff about it but yeah.... I like my xbox 360 more right now because of Halo 3. ;D
