 She stood atop a hill overlooking the vast plains stretched out before her. This land, all in all, seemed perfect. She had seen foals frolicking earlier unguarded. Either their parents were fools or this land really was just as peaceful as she had been told.
She shook her mane out copper waves rippling along her neck, catching light from the cold sun. Cold... Winter... Death... Blood always seemed brighter against the snow.

Things here seemed so, so, boring compared to the land she'd come from before. Everyone seemed to be generally happy about everything and there really wasn't any sort of need for someone like her. True Lady needed a bit of protecting now and then and she could show off in front of the little mare that followed her and Telikos but her days were filled with more of the same.
Trotting across a small river she tossed her hair, silver highlights glittering, and sighed.

Rearing back she battled the sky, light glinting off of the bronze cuffs on her fore legs before her hooves hit the ground. The ground, too cold for dust, answered her with a slight tremble as she took off, blazing a crimson trail across the plains. It was time to let it be known that she was here... And things were not going to remain peaceful.

Her skin prickled and she looked up across the plains. Something didn't feel right all of a sudden and she didn't like it. She knew that feeling and for all her complaining about being bored that was -not- how she wanted to rectify the situation.
Trotting away from the stream she wandered toward what she hoped was the right direction.

Birds that had been pecking quietly at the ground scattered as she thundered through their feeding place, scattering the seed that had been left out for them. There was a camp nearby... She could smell the fire.
Fire... What a beautifully distructive substance. It devoured everything in its path, not caring if it was living or not. It wasn't picky and, at the moment, neither was she. Fire would be a perfect way to start the chaos.

She could smell the scent of two leggers in the air and what had to be a cooking fire. The place wasn't silent enough for her to believe the two leggers were currently at their camp though. The smaller life never ventured this close and she could hear birds and small things in the underbrush.
Shaking her head she slowed her pace and kept an eye on the plains surrounding her.

She ran through the camp, rearing back once she was closer to the flames, coming down hard enough on a piece of wood sticking out to send embers flying and those who walked on two legs running. When the smell of something other than wood burning tickled her nose she grinned, darting off in hopes that her destruction would spread.

As she neared the two leggers camp she saw the destruction that the mare was causing but not the mare herself. Nudging the dead fire with a hoof she put out the embers there and looked around. There were no humans to be seen but she could still hear something.
"This is not the place for your antics." She called out into the air hoping to drag whatever it was out into the open.

"Oh? Isn't it?" She called in response, copper tail flickering as she emerged from behind the remains of a teepee. "Tell me then... What is this a place for if not a little... Destruction?" A smirk teased the corners of her lips upwards, eyes fixing on the other mare. "Have you come to stop me? Without an army? What good at all will that do?"

Her eyes narrowed as she was face to face with another mare. The other had armor on her which didn't bode well for her fleeing on her own. "This is their home. You have no right to disturb them." She held her head up refusing to fall to the bait of not having an army. She was a warrior she did not need an army behind her to be strong.

"I have just as much a right to disturb them as you have to disturb me, little girl." She continued to smirk as she continued her attempt to bait the other mare. "What do you care for them? Had they their way you would be tethered to a tree or saddled with their belongings... Who named you their defender?"

"They have far more respect for us than you give them credit for. I have crossed paths with many and none have tried to tame me." She tossed her head slightly and stared at the other mare.
"I named myself their defender."

"You, perhaps... But you're just a simple mare, aren't you?" She nickered softly, giving her head a light toss that sent copper waves rippling against her neck. "Step aside... I have better things to do than play games with the likes of you."

"Hardly and i will not step aside." She would not let this mare destroy more settlements or more peace for others. "Your games are not the kind i would let you play with anyone else either missy"

"And what would you know of the games that I play, little girl?" Her eyes gleamed as she watched the other mare, taking a step forward as if preparing to stalk a slow circle around her. "I could be playing one now... Standing here with you... Who knows what's happening elsewhere while you are keeping me from doing as I wish. Do you have any loved ones?"
