((More coming as it comes to mind, just using this to toy with layouts for now--also, whoops, forgot the part where you wanted one thread for everyone, sorry x.x))

The Basics
Full Name: Trennir Rivalyn (working on pronunciation)
Nicknames/Aliases: "Trance", "Trannie"
Gender: Male
Age: 54 (26 if you don't count the 28 years he lost somewhere)
Height: 5' 8", 172 cm.
Weight: 147 lbs., 66 kg.
Race: Human
Occupation: Scholar/Teacher, Freelance Wizard

The Specifics
Tarot Representative: The Magician
Birthdate(translated to Gregorian calendar): July 22nd (Cancer)
Birthplace: The Wandering Continent, Dimensia
Blood Type: N/A (his body's been messed with so much that no one can really tell)
Appearance: Mid-back length hair in rowen red, usually pinned up in a bun or high ponytail, green eyes with slight flecks of brown, somewhat sun-deprived complexion, average build, wears gold-rimmed reading glasses at all times
Usual Attire: Favors a deep, royal purple coat(with gold and silver embroidery along edges) over a white, full-sleeved undershirt coupled with black slacks and matching walking shoes. Wears a lot of necklaces, rings, and bracelets along with odd charms strung along his belt.
Personality: Some may call him an eccentric, seeing as he's always wandering with a somewhat aimless look directed at a fancy-looking book, but Trennir is a very calm and kind man. Sure, he spends his days figuring out new ways to bend reality to his will, but he takes a very scholarly approach to it; being a scholar means to be in pursuit of knowledge, and that means traveling, and no one likes a wandering jerk. Quirks and oddities aside, Trance can be an interesting fellow if he ever stayed in one place long enough to let others see it.
History: (see here)

The Arcanities
Being a wizard, Trennir has devoted his life to the study and furthering of the discipline commonly termed 'magic'. His spellbooks are many and large, filled to the brim with formulae and footnotes collected over decades(centuries? who knows) of research and travel. He's amassed quite a collection of spells, some of his own creation, some given to him by colleagues and friends, others culled from the hands of failed mages on his travels, and others still granted to him by forces outside his own plane of existence.

Listing all the spells he has access to would take way too much space, but everything should be explained enough in the last section.

Beyond the Fourth Wall
Universe/Setting of Origin: Dungeons and Dragons, Edition 3.5
Details Relating to Original Universe: 18th Level Wizard -- this puts him just a few steps away from Epic, and also explains his massive stash of spells. 18th caster level means more than enough access to the 9th level of spells, including such reality-breaking wonders as Wish and Astral Projection(the latter he uses profusely). All the spells he uses, with the exception of his own creations which I've yet to fully plot out, come straight from the PHB/SRD and are roleplayed as such, with some adjustments so they aren't as boring.

Trennir is also a rich b*****d, but only ever uses enough to get wherever he wants to go. Despite his power, he does a lot of footwork, it's very cathartic.
Art: ...none. crying
On Gaia?: Yes! I linked his journal earlier. His avatar is the closest representation I can get of him on Gaia.

Variant: Trennir Rivalyn, Alchemist for Hire
Universe/Realm: Ragnarok Online
Birthplace: Al De Baran, Rune-Midgard
Occupation: Alchemist, Bioresearcher

History: Trennir Rivalyn started his life humbly, well cared-for by his family in the rich trade city of Al De Baran. He was a curious lad, always lingering around the ports to see what the merchants were dropping off, listening to the stories they told. When he came of age, he took the expected route of studying with the Alchemist's Guild, learning much about the properties of objects and how to manipulate them. Trial and tribulation was the story of his life as he pursued his chosen course, his thirst for knowledge taking him all over the Rune-Midgard kingdom, and later into the Schwarzwald Republic.

And it was there in Schwarzwald, more specifically in Lighthalzen, that he found just what he was looking for(even if he didn't know he was looking for it); many an alchemist had related rumors of a new branch of study called "Bioethics", and it just so happened that Lighthalzen happened to be the origin of the discipline. Trennir dug deep into it, grabbed every research paper he could, went to every exhibition he could squeeze his way into, accumulating all sorts of techniques and the basis for devising his own.

But knowledge without action is hardly knowledge at all. He began to experiment, largely on plants and non-sentient creatures, trying to unravel that elusive... thing that made life what it was. His plans were all centered around the idea of the Homunculus, a man-made lifeform, a being brought into the world through reasonable, traceable methods -- the physical manifestation of the answer to the mystery of life. At first, he did it simply because it was something new, but as time went on, he became more involved in bioethics, devoted even...

It's unknown whether he ever succeeded in his attempts to create life, but maybe he will, someday. Perhaps he already has...
