Okay, I'm just gonna vent here. Anyone hear about the bozos who wanted to ban Santas from saying "Ho! Ho! Ho!" because it scares children and might offend women? (Because "ho" is slang for whore/prostitute) First off, kids are gonna be scared of Santa or the Easter Bunny or Mickey Mouse at Disney World or anyone dressed up like that regardless of what they say and second, what else is Santa gonna say?
And what is the big deal with saying Merry Christmas? I said it today at work and my boss made a big deal about it. So what? I like saying Merry Christmas! Get over it! I'm all for diversity. Don't get me wrong. But, people take it waaay too far sometimes.

I don't care WHAT it's called! It's a winter party!
My personal celebration is to remember Jesus, but I fully accept that the event of his birth happened at a completely different time.
The Catholic church determined early on to overshadow other religious and social holidays with their own. And it worked. sweatdrop

This is nother classic example of being over protective and WAY too PC. Its just rubbish and another thing people seem to want banned to suck the fun out of life. One of the reasons i like to be contravertal is so that i can make things fun again ^^
Merry Christmas is perfectly fine. Me being hopelessly unreligious i dont think of Jesus or anything like that, i just have fun on the holidays. And the peole that want to ban 'Ho! Ho! Ho!' should get a grip and shut up to be honest.

What if people stop giving presents to eachother! gonk they said he should go "Ha ha ha" instead. and that totally ruins it because i think of the Christmas Story and the scene in the mall with the scariest Santa in the world. They'd have to dub the whole scene and it wouldn't have the same effect.

I agree with you about the santa thing but they want you to say happy holidays because alot of people get easily offended like "oh so christmas is the only holiday" it's mostly so you don't have to hear them complain

Media will bully santa because he's overweight, like they bullied Britney gonk and FBI will chase him because of his beard, assuming connections to Al Quaida, searching through all the packages in his sack for bombs, also a bunch of extremist feminists will find it unfair that only guys can be santa so in the end we will have the santas replaced with women and thin shaved men, omg! gonk !!
